IVF/FET October/November 21

I think I'm a bit early on some of the other threads so starting one for October/November 😊

1st fresh cycle in august ended in CP.

Booked for follow up consultation 30th September so hopefully I'll be able to transfer late October early November 🤞🏼

5 frozen blasts. Hoping to transfer 2 this time round but I'm not sure they'll let me 😬

@IVFGotThis05 that is great news!!! I had 16 collected, 12 mature and 7 fertilised. Ended up with a Grade A and a Grade C…everything crossed for another positive call Saturday for you xx

Hey everyone, just want to let you know boots has buy one get one free on vitamins, including procieve, which I use and have only just bought- sods blood law lol x

We've had our call. 15 of our 17 fertilized and the same number were mature. We're very happy. Fingers crossed for day 5 🤞. I have high amh for my age (mid 30s) so waiting to see if there is a quality drop off at some point.

@IVFGotThis05 6 is good. As @Ivfnewbie1 says you should get a few embryos from that.

@Ivfnewbie1 Hey, feeling a little brighter today. Had a good nights sleep and that makes the world of difference. Only tomorrow to go then OTD so there's still a bit of hope there :)

@CycleGirl20 and @IVFGotThis05 Both your numbers sound really promising! I know these days after collection can feel like they go on forever but before you know it, you'll have a little embaby on board!

I have really bad munchies at the moment. Has anyone else had that? Maybe my body thinks it's pregnant with our 15 fertilized eggs. I can't stop eating biscuits!

@Ivfnewbie1 spotting can be good or bad. I always getting spotting several days before AF so I will assume it's bad if I get it. But honestly it really means nothing if its brown.
@IVFGotThis05 we got 12, 8 mature, 5 fertilised, so I think it's pretty much about right? Ended up with 1 to transfer and 1 to freeze. You should hopefully get at least 2 to freeze.
@strawberrysummer19 I'm OK. Nothing much to report. I think the pessaries are giving me the cramps, as it happens so long after using them. All the other stuff seems to slowly be settling down.
@CycleGirl20 yep I've been starving since EC and it's still ongoing. 🤣 usually I love sweet food but I'm actually craving savory.

Thank you for asking @strawberrysummer19 I've been trying to keep up with you all. My scan is tomorrow and I'm a nervous wreck, it's been really horrible. I don't want to go to be honest. I can't tell what's anxiety and what's pregnancy related.

@VenusStarr sending you strength for tomorrow. I hate scans more than I hate pregnancy tests - and that's saying something! Hope the tiredness takes over and you sleep well

It's exciting times for so many of you, hoping all your dreams come true at scans and on test days :) can't wait to hear everyones positive results.

Could do with some advise please ladies, am doing a long frozen transfer. I have been on buserelin since 19th October. On Tuesday I reduced the amount and started taking progynova, today I started getting period pains. I'm not worried about discomfort, more so if this is normal, worried about anything affecting this transfer! The meds have done me in, I am defo doing a natural cycle next time!!!

@paintfairy thank you! Hopefully nothing to worry about. Clinic told me today it could be the cyclogest causing irritation with the cervix…will keep on knicker watch 🤞🏻 X

@Ivfnewbie1 yes it could be. The pessaries give me cramps even, I'm sure. I wonder if to not put them as far in. I've used cyclogest before and to be honest they are better used the back way, much easier. But I'm on utrogestan and you can't do it with those.

@paintfairy yes that’s what clinic also told me to try so I’ve done that tonight. Just feeling AF cramps now, which I’ve had all week anyway so fingers crossed that does the trick x

Is it normal to be quite bloated a day or so after EC? I'm having a panic about OHSS. I'm not dehydrated or anything, just feel like I ate a big meal. How was everyone else post EC?

Hey @CycleGirl20 - yes, I think that's normal! I was still bloated up for a few days. I found drinking lots of water and going for little walks and helped xx
