@Chrischross hey, thanks for checking in, I'm ok, slightly miserable today, just having a down day, fed up with the drawn out process. I'm not really sure about baseline, I've been on buserelin since 19th October, started period last Tuesday, and only have 1 scan which is 23rd November- everyone else seems to have them before that, and more than 1, as usual our clinic seems to be lacking. How are you getting on?
@MrsC2018 I was told I was high risk of ohss, so looked up the best way to prevent it, turns out smart water is one of the best things for it, i was drinking a minimum of 3 bottles a day plus a lucozade sport too... no BPF, but no ohss either lol.
@Justawannabemam I feel for you, I was exactly the same after my transfer. It was my first ever round of IVF, we have paid in full for 2 full rounds including all frozen transfers. So when it failed I assumed we would crack straight on- I needed the distraction, I was devastated. I told them it had failed 21/8/21, to be told it would be a minimum of 3 months before another round.... which I was furious at. I'm not known for being patient, and being an emotional mess didn't help the situation. I now have a transfer booked for 29/11/21, so exactly 15 weeks since my last. It maybe worth asking if March/April is when they expect you to START the meds, or when the actual TRANSFER would be. If they are anything like my clinic, it takes 8-9 weeks of prep before the transfer, so your treatment may actually start Jan/feb, which would line up with you having a full natural period in between? I completely didn't appreciate any of this crap as I just wanted another chance, but I'm hoping and praying that this time has given my body time to recover and hopefully will lead to success on this round.... I don't want to say this is the case, but maybe worth asking?
@Tinyhappypeople omg I start progynova next week, I really hope I don't get all these side effects! IVF is so mentally and physically taxing isn't it!!! I started buserelin 19th October, I start progynova 9th November starting at 6mg, working upto 10mg! When is your transfer? I'm the same as you, was shocked at how much harder a FET is compared to a fresh cycle, although I don't find this anywhere near as stressful as the fresh cycle. Do you have many scans/appointments throughout your treatment?
Stay strong everyone, we are working towards our dreams, and we have each other to rant to... really do think this forum is a lifesaver!!! X
