@ShareLove thank you! I can't believe we managed to finally get here but it's all just waiting now... no more to the visits to the clinic or anything!

I can't believe we managed to get over 50% of fertilised eggs as blasts, this was definitely the part i was preparing for the most, a huge drop off rate!

I am with a Care clinic and they grade embryos very differently... the numbers don't represent days, and the letters don't represent grades. They have a grading system of 1 to 4, 1 being the best and 4 being below average.

The one i had transferred was what they classed as top/best quality, so it was a 1:1, the rest that are frozen are a mix of 1, 1-2, and 2s.... i wasn't sure what the last frozen one was. I wanted to try and find a conversion online but have had no luck lol!

This clinic is a bit different to everyone elses, no bloods taken and i have been given a pregnancy test to do on the 5th. If it's positive i then i need to ring up for a scan? but that's it...

@ngy21 heyy lovely how are you feeling after egg trasfer ? Any symptoms ? When you are you testing !!!! So exiting omg !!! I hope you get positive news !!!

@ShareLove hey! I've been feeling lots of bloat and I don't think it's OHSS or anything. It's crazy! It hurts to lay down 😶 so have been sleeping on the recliner. Hopefully will be better soon.
Other than that everything else generally seems fine thanks 😊 I'm tempted to test early... OTD is on the 5th which means it'll be 14dp5dt!!! I thought it was a bit long tbh - which is why I'm thinking of doing it over weekend, that would be 10dpt which should be long enough to detect I think!

How are you holding up?

@ngy21 aww good luck lovely ! It soon comes around ! If I was you I’d test after 5 days past trasfer 😂 but glad you have enough patient to wait it out !!! Can’t belive how fast its come around for you !!! I’m wishing you all the best ! You know that bloating could well be pregnancy related or it could be from progesterone pessaries and I had the bloating while I took them for few days!
I’m doing well thanks ! Started taking my norethisterone tablets on day 21 , few days ago now , so back into it I’m glad at least I’m doing something already ! I’m not sure how long I’ll be on it maybe a week or 2 , I’ll have to wait until they ring me and tell me to stop !
Sorry I haven’t replied earlier! My job is so busy at the moment and I haven’t had a lot of time on my phone xxx

Haha 5dpt!!! I think because of my bloating and discomfort it's made it a lot easier not to test, past few nights i been sleeping on the recliner but finally last night i managed to stay in my bed and only woke up once from the pain, so that's an improvement!

Part of me hopes the bloating is from a possible pregnancy but then i'm also dreading that if this is what pregnancy is going to be like on the pessaries, my next couple of months will be very uncomfortable!!!

I am very tempted to test today/tomorrow! it will be 9-10dpt.... which is reasonable i think. But on the other hand i don't know if i can handle the disappointment if it's a negative.

So glad you have started on your meds! if it's down reg it might be for 2-3 weeks. do you need to go in for scans etc?

@ngy21 hey if I was you I’d test now 😍 if your pregnant it should show already !!! And I’d like to know earlier if it’s negative to avoid big disappointment on the day 😟 I think I might down reg for like a week or 2 and then I’m not sure what happens next I am taking it step by step and I’ll know more once they tell me to come off the norethisterone 😀 I soooo pray it’s pregnancy for you ! Just imagine ! Did you put in one embryo ? I hope you get your positive and I hope it’s very sticky baby and that it goes smoothly for you ! I think the bloating would be least of your worries if you know your baby is healthy and growing I wouldn’t care at this point what side effect I get as long as I get pregnant and it’s happy and healthy pregnancy

I think the pain from the bloat has managed to keep me from testing cause i've just been feeling so crap the past week, only yesterday i started to feel a bit more normal, still bloated but no pain where my upper abdomen is!!!! first day where i didn't take any pain killers... and i can stand up straight lol!

I am going to be good and wait till tomorrow morning - but i don't feel anything

any more update on your end? do you need to be on meds until you have a bleed?

@ngy21 I wish you all the luck in the world for tomorrow 😍 yeah it’s weird how you have had to take painkillers , is it the pain you took the tablets for!? Or bloating ? I wonder what that pain means ? I haven’t heard people having pain after ET unless you developed mild OHSS?

I’m just on nirethisterone and I’m not sure how long for ! I will ring up today and ask them to prescribe me some more norethisterone as I don’t have many left , I’m hoping I’ll be on it for like 1-2 weeks max and then wait for my bleed to start like few days after I stop taking norethisterone and then it’s time to thicken the lining for ET , I’m hoping it’s all done in 5 weeks from now 😀

@ShareLove thank you! mega nervous but at same time i've already got a mindset of if it doesnt work this time, we have more in the freezer.

I had to take painkillers cause the uppper abdomen was killing me! i couldnt lay down as it made things worse, so had been sleeping on the recliner for a few nights. The bloat didn't help either. I still have bloat but it's not all the way to the top of the stomach if you know what i mean? it's just the bottom part. Before i legit looked like i was in the 2nd trimester.... I did wonder if it was OHSS but was strange to have it after ET?! it was like a week 5 days in ET as well?!

Let me know what your clinic says! and yea hopefully 5 weeks from now you will be at the point of testing too! Never know, i might be joining you on a FET cycle. I'll keep you posted on my results tomorrow!

@ngy21 you know they say that if you get pregnant after ET , you could show symptoms of OHSS because pregnancy hormone brings out the symptoms !! And if you didn’t get pregnant then it would not happen specially as you wasn’t a risk , so I’m thinking you might have been in low risk of OHSS but because you got pregnant this time , the pregnancy hormone is making the OHSS symptoms come out stronger even if you was low risk , because that’s what it does . That’s why they don’t recommend ET if you have visible OHSS symptoms because if you get pregnant then it’s pregnancy hormone could send you to hospital for OHSS symptoms … so I don’t know why but I feel like you’re pregnant ORR it could really be progesterone that’s making you feel this way !!! Anyways let’s see and good luck and thank you ! 😍😍

I got my first ever BFP this morning! So happy but kinda in disbelief!!!

I've called my clinic up to book in a scan for the end of the month and my husband can come too, very excited!

The nurse did say that bloating, discomfort and signs of OHSS are common when an embryo has implanted so you are right! I had also done some googling too which also said the same. But one thing that threw me was that my whole stomach was painful! So i thought i had an infection!

But wows, i am in a bit of shock! I took 3 tests in total, a cheapie i have and before i put it down the test line was showing up!!! and i've kept a digital for a while and was only going to take it if i had a positive cheapie... so i took that as well which confirmed pregnant, showed that to my husband so he can understand it lol!!!

Clinic is going to send me more pessaries out to last me up to 8 weeks of pregnancy (thank god, i thought it was going to be 12).

Fingers crossed this one is a sticky one! Now waiting on you!!!!!

I hope that the pregnancy goes smoothly and nothing goes wrong do you xxxx I myself had had couple of early pregnancy losses ( 5 ) naturally so I am very very cautious when I do get pregnant by IVF , doctor seems to think my problem is egg quality so let’s see if ivf works for me 😀 I don’t have high hopes for myself but it could be because I didn’t produce enough progesterone in pregnancy so I hope with medicine i will be ok !!!

Hopefully the meds will help support ur pregnancy!!! As much of a pain I find these pessaries I am accepting them a bit more now...

@ngy21 I hope we will both be pregnant quite close 😌 and no I haven’t got any dates yet , I am quite dissappointed by my clinic because they don’t keep me updated ! They Neally forgot about me , I needed to start my norethisterone and they didn’t let me know even that , I had to ring myself on day 21 to confirm if I still had to take it and they said yes I do and sorry they forgot about me . I’m just hoping they will send me a letter about when to stop taking the tablets and what my next steps will be but so far I haven’t heard a beep from them , so annoying 😔 I ran out of norethisterone so I ordered some more online myself , the clinic didn’t even realise they didn’t give me enough to last me … sometimes I just feel like giving up because I’m always chasing them to give me updates and I don’t feel like they are interested to let me know themselves …. But I’ll get over it and hopefully soon I will know more xx

@ShareLove that is so bad! I felt like that at the beginning of IVF as my paperwork had gone through, but i was waiting on clinic to tell me when to start, and they never did. I rang them a month later and they were like "oh have you been given protocol? have you ordered meds?". I lost a bit of confidence at that point but since starting meds they have been good.

It's so bad you have to keep chasing! It's not like you don't have enough stress and worry already, but all this will be worth it!!!

And yes hopefully we will have close pregnancies, if you get your BFP in the next couple months we will have summer babies!

I got more info now about my next cycle ! I got my meds delivered too !
Taking norethisterone for 7 more days and then zoladex injection , ( I think it’s to stop ovulation for next month ) and then few days after I start my bleed , then 4 weeks later I have a scan to check the lining I belive and I think then I will add more meds into my plan after scan , -and I’m guessing 2-3 weeks later after the scan I’ll have trasfer , so hopefully in 7 weeks time I will have trasfer xxx at least I have a plan now ! And have zoom appoitment next Tuesday to go through my plan ect .!

@ShareLove i'm feeling so much better thanks! just a bit of bloating, and occasional pain in the abdomen (i think its the flaring up of OHSS). I can actually feel pain or something on my ovaries but i am hoping it's cause they are shrinking!!

Being a bit picky with food as well, and can only eat small amounts but frequently lol!!

It definitely feels surreal and i think i won't be proper excited until i get my scan at the end of the month! I have been advised to take another test 3-5 days after initial test so will take another one over the weekend.

How exciting for you!! A plan in place finally!!! does this take you into mid-end of Nov? Hoping for a xmas miracle!!! hope you are feeling ok with all the meds.

I have 3 more weeks of pessaries then i am off meds for good!!! i think i am more excited for that haha!

@ngy21 hey !! How are you doing !! Everything okay ??? I hope you feeling better and do you have any pregnancy symptoms ? When is your next scan 😍? Not long for me to start my frozen cycle ! I had an injection on Tuesday to put my next cycle into menopause mode so I won’t ovulate next cycle and today I stopped taking norethisterone after being on it for 15 days , so my period should start in 2 days from now and then I will ring clinic and hopefully 5 weeks from Sunday I will have my transfer yay !!!!

I think my FET trasfer is planned for 22nd of November

@ShareLove hey! I am doing good thanks :) i think the OHSS has gone down a lot, i get the occasional pain in the stomach but it's manageable.
Pregnancy symptom wise... it's just on and off, which is why i can't wait until the scan to officially confirm as right now i don't feel pregnant? I did do another strip test which came back mega dark and still confirms HCG. But i get worried that any symptoms i get is from the pessaries and that the strip is just showing left over HCG....! I get the occasional pinch and cramp in my uterus which i guess is a good thing (expanding uterus).

My scan is next Tuesday, still a bit to go yet but getting closer now!!!
