Hahah . Does the mother in law know your having ivf ? Mines spot on to be fair. My mam died when I was 16 so I love my MIL cos I can tell her anything . My sister in law on the other hand well that's a different story !! Haha

Remember plenty of water before transfer. X

@ngy21 yeah she's not at all. Tbf she doesn't know about any of it. We're kne of those families where if someone sneezes, the entire community knows about it. So I decided to keep it form everyone we could until we're at a point where we feel okay to share. But she's always stressful regardless of the situation anyway so not loke it would change things.

On a positive note- I had 1 blastocyst transferred today! They said it went really well. So fingers crossed. Gotta do a hcg in 11th. Any tips you guys have for this stage? I found myself resisting the urge to pee earlier in case that caused some detriment. I know that's stupid and that it doesnt hurt to pee. haha

@Konnie1991 fab news on the transfer. I didnt do anything strenuous. Just take it easy for a few days . Let that little one get embedded in there. X good luck for testing.

If u can distance yourself from the MIL . You don't want her dragging you down. Mine has a twine every now and then and I just ignore her if it's a funny twine I tell her to stop being so fkn miserable. And she laughs. X

Haha. That would not go down well at all with mine. I said something along the lines of "isn't that a bit much?" And then 2 days later she has a go at me saying how rude and disrespectful that was. 😒 I guess noone else is allowed to have any emotion other than her and her own blood. The other daughter in laws in the family have told me some horror stories about her too so i guess I'm getting milder treatment compared to them. Best thing is to ignore her.

Hey girls @Justawannabemam @ngy21 I have my trasfer next Wednesday 9 Th of March ! had a scan today and lining is nice and thick ! I have 2 frozen embryos , so hoping at least one will survive . But I have very very low hopes as last time I used up 3 embryos and 2 ended up being bad quality and trasferred anyways and 1 didn’t survive at all so I’m praying that it’s not all a bad batch of embryos , praying for my last 2 to be different xxx hope you all good and I’m getting exited again , baby dust to you all

@Konnie1991 hey thank you ! I’m feeling negative as I only have 2 frozen and I don’t think they will be very good after thaw I’m not even going to get ready before I know I will have a trasfer , I am used to bad news now so I am expecting bad news tomorrow that my embryos didn’t survive or bad quality …
But on a bright side , I’ll get new fresh cycle with new chance to make food embryos next time where are you now in your protocol ? Xx

@ShareLove I'm on progesterone I. Not sure how much long I'll be on it for I've read your body starts to produce its own at a certain point.

@ShareLove Sorry for the late reply! Aww I'm so happy it all worked out for you. I know how hard it can be especially during lead up to whatever the next big step is! You fall into this glumness. Im in th 2 week wait which ends tomorrow so feeling similar to how you felt! But forget all that for now! I am so glad you got a transfer done. When is your test day?

@Justawannabemam eek! 6 weeks! It went fast. I'm sure it felt like forever for you though. My hcg test is tomorrow morning, same day as your 6 week scan! Feel nervous and excited but also feel like it's not gonna be the BFP I'm hoping for... havent had any symptoms at all, regardless of taking the cyclogest twice a day. Trying to stay neutral.

@Konnie1991 some people don't have any symptoms. Keep positive. Have u tested yourself?

My test date is 24th , in 2 weeks , but I’ll be testing from 7 days past trasfer , 2 weeks seems so long after 5 day old blastocystt xx
I can’t belive you have tested you , you have some willpower hehe do you remember what grade embryo did you trasfer xx ?

@ShareLove @Justawannabemam nope I haven't tested yet so far! I can't believe my own will power to be honest. Lool. I've been so tempted buy I'm too afraid of seeing a negative so that's kept me from doing it!

I'm hoping I'm one of those with no symptoms.. or maybe I'm too oblivious to realise symptoms... who knows.
As to grade- they never actually gave me a grade. They said they transferred a top quality one. Froze 1 top quality one and another 2 okay ones. Crazy that they started off with 11 fertilised and it wittled down to that!

Update= BFP! It's still not sunken in! 6 week scan on 29th March 9.30. Fingers crossed we make it there!

@Justawannabemam hope all is good with you? I stopped my progesterone at end of 9th week as my transfer was fresh, but heard if you're FET then you need to take it up until 12th week? I did the suppositories though so unsure if it only applies to that.

so much positivity in this group it's amazing!

i was due to go on holiday yday but had to cancel/postpone as i got a positive covid test :/ bit of a bummer but little bean is still kicking away and its getting enough oxygen which is most important! will be hopefully planning to go away end of the month providing that i've fully recovered. really wanting this long overdue holiday!!!!

Is it normal to get shooting pains randomly in lower back/hip area some parts of abdomen? It's not constant.
