@ngy21 aww good luck lovely , I’m praying for you that all is well with you and baby ! And don’t worry so much about symptoms , some people have non to very little .
My period started yesterday so I rang up and have a scan in a week to check lining I think and then start medicine , I’m not 100% sure but so far I know that I’ll have a scan xx how long are you on pessaries for ? Xx

I spoke to the nurse when i told them about my positive and when she ordered extra pessaries for me she said i only needed to take them up to 8 weeks? I thought it was longer than that (all throughout 1st trimester).

However when i got my delivery i got pessaries to last me till 9 weeks.

I'll double check with them next week when i get my scan. I am cautious but same time if it is 8 weeks then not long too go! these pessaries are such a pain....!!!

I got a proper plan in place now !
I start my estrogen patches next Monday so 1 week from my period .

Take ( place on belly ) 1 estrogen patch every other day for 2 weeks , then 3rd week take 2 patches every other day for a week , and then have scan 4 weeks from now to check lining and then 1 week from scan have a trasfer ! Trasfer is booked for 22 November right now , so 5 weeks from now !!! So exiting ! Also I’ll start taking progesterone and other tablets after my scan in 4 weeks ready for trasfer 😍

And i agree, if it means baby is well then it's well worth it. I may even just suck it up and take the extra weeks worth of pessaries that they sent me.

I am 6w 5days now, so pessaries (if i stop at 8 weeks) will end next friday, a few days after my scan! As i think my scan is at 7w 4days.

When you have your transfer i think i will be coming to the end of 11 weeks! Scary thinking about it... almost the first trimester done!

It's all exciting stuff happening! Just a lot of worry comes with it too!

@ngy21 hey lovely how are you doing ? Not long till your scan are you exited ? 😍 I start my patches on Monday 25th , 3 weeks worth of patches before a scan to check lining and a week after I have trasfer if all good !! So in 4 and a bit weeks I could have trasfer 😍

@ShareLove hey! I am good thank you, nervous for my scan tomorrow but as my husband keeps saying "stay positive!". There is nothing i can do now - everything is out of my hands! I still get the odd symptom here and there and the most annoying one is sudden hunger or need to eat. I don't get nauseas but i end up really burpy??? Odd cramp here and there... that's about it really!

I have started my patches today ! First one is on )l😃 next one I have to change Wednesday so every other day ! For 3 weeks then scan !!! 😃 I pray all is well for my scan so I can have trasfer ! I’m scared that maybe lining won’t be thick and it’s gets cancelled one week before trasfer l!! I hope not 😄

I will see if I can get any pics of if I will get a scan pic - not sure if they do that as I thought on transfer, I'd be able to get a picture of the scan! (Although I know it's jus a small dot in the uterus 😂😂)

If you get your BFP would you plan to take out any other tests on your pregnancy such as the NIPT? Some users on another thread were talking about it but it never crossed my mind!

I've had egg transfer last Saturday. OTD is 28th (this thursday) . But I couldn't wait . I done one thru the week and it was negative. It wasn't a early response one just day after period one. So I left it a few days and I've done a clear blue digital and it's come back positive I couldn't believe it. I had a bit of brown discharge so I deffo though I was out . And I've done 2 more today one the line was faint and the other was a digital with showed pregnant. It's been 16 days since my trigger shot so I don't think that would be in my system. What do you think. I've read it's 10 to 14 days . Sometimes even less.

We only had 6 eggs collected . Which I was really low about. 4 were mature enough. 2 fertilised. They were both 3BB and made it to day 5 . So Upon their recommendation we put both back in. I'm 40 my partner is 42. We've been trying for about 3 years. We have waited 18 months bc of covid. And we were advised we would only get one go. So we have everything crossed.

@ShareLove keep thinking positive. Its hard . I literally don't think I have ever cried so much . But it will.be worth it.

I think by 16 days your trigger should have left your system, so congratulations! Have you been testing every other day with strip tests to see if your line gets any darker?

I tested on my OTD and my lines were quite dark, but by then i would have been 16DPT which i thought was a lot later than a lot of other people.

And thank you :) i am very nervous for my scan, tho i feel pressure down there which is reassuring but until you see something on the screen and a strong heartbeat, it's very nerve wrecking! And i can't imagine it will get any easier either with each scan lol!

But as my husband says, stay positive. That's all we can do!

Will try and see if i can get a picture at the scan today and post on here.

I read that as long as you don't have a "period type" bleed that all should be good

I've been using the CB digital ones costing me a fortune but I really don't care. Done one this morning and it said 1 -2 weeks. I'll probably not test tomorrow and then do the one the hospital gave me on Thursday. I have ordered some strip tests they'll be here today

I'm up north so were doing ours at gateshead . And they have been brilliant . They are so so nice. Which has really helped. They always ring me back and nothing is ever a problem to them. It's a good 2 hour drive for us . So apart from the obvious wanting this to happen that drive in winter is a nightmare.

What time is your scan ? Remember to drink plenty of water

@Justawannabemam yea i haven't had any bleed, just the occasional cramp which i think is normal. However, i am on progesterone pessaries so i think it prevents me from bleeding... this is what i think! As progesterone keeps the lining right? And if you have high progesterone it stops you from having a period?

Ah yes the digital CB! I bought a pack of 2 after i got my BFP. The CB i had was digital but doesnt tell you how far along.

I was quite annoyed cause i tested the first one hoping for a 2-3 weeks, but it was just completely blank!!!

I made sure to take the 2nd one when i was confident i would be 3+, and i got that result so it has kept my mind at ease a little more. Is your plan to wait until you get your 3+ as well?

2 hours drive! That is quite long esp when appointments happen more frequently than you'd imagine! We are quite lucky that our clinic is only 10-15 mins away. I think todays appointment is probably the last one with the clinic if all goes well!

My scan is at 4pm :) And thanks! Have been trying my best to drink lots of water and ive been having the occasional OJ too haha!

Yeh it wouldnt be a period as such just a period like bleed ( bright red and heavy).

I've to ring the hospital on Thursday. I've done a strip test and it's very faint but I guess if I'm only 1 -2 weeks then it will be. But all my digital ones are coming back positive so I'll have a bit of that. 👶

Yeh its a bit of a trek . But genuinely that was our nearest !! It's a bit sad really bc some people might not access to a car or even be able to drive.

Did you have one embryo put back in ? We put 2 . I'm so excited to see if we're having twins .

I'll have to go through to the clinic at so.e point this week to pick up a prescription . I've only got a few bottle of lubion left and I assume I'll go onto the pessaries after that. Maybe they'll give me a cheeky scan 🤔 many of the pessaries a day are you doing ? Do you do it at night time ?

@Justawannabemam i agree... people going through this are already stressed and added inconvenience of travel if they dont have their own bike car means more stress!!

But it all becomes worth it in the end!

I had 1 put back in, it was what they called top quality by their guidelines. CARE's grading system works a bit differently than the ones i've seen, it's just digits. 1:1 being the top grade.

I have 5 frozen embryos too for future use if needed.

Does your clinic not post you your meds? my clinic arranged for a delivery of pessaries to my home after my positive test.

I take them 3 x day, 6-8 hours apart. I wanted to take them all at night as it would be so much easier! But the nurse advised that I need to take them 6-8 hours apart.

I need to double check with them today if to continue them until 10 weeks or 8. The nurse on the phone said 8 but my initial consult they told me 10... and funny thing is they've given me enough pessaries for 9 weeks.....!!!

What does the lubion do? is that a form of progesterone too?

Yeh lubion is a progesterone little bottles that I just every night..

Well I keep getting excited . Then I have to reel myself back in a bit . I'm a twin myself so I know it will be expensive but we don't have any other kids and we both have decent paid jobs and gran and granda are around so we would be OK.

Oub thr pessaries might be a bit tricky for me then if that's the case because I work 12 hour shifts. Including night shifts I wont be able to do my full role now so if I done one at 6 am before work and then they'd have to let me go home to do the others . I've never took the mick at work for time off but I'm gonna look after No1 now x

@Justawannabemam yes they are messy! but much more easier to take out than injections... just remember to wear panty liners!!! I would have much preferred to take them all at night, i think @ShareLove was able to do that so i would ask your clinic if i were you!

I don't use the applicators, and only take out the amount i need, usually i cut one out and put it in my bag, then just excuse myself when i need to do it. As its every 6-8 hours it's not too bad, don't have to be on the dot with these. Friday will mark week 8 of pregnancy and it was advised i can stop the pessaries then, but i'm worried i still will need to have progesterone support...gonna double check this with the nurse today and probs gonna end up taking the extra packet of pessaries i've got so that will take me to week 9.

On the other hand tho, excited i can stop these soon!!!

@ngy21 I think. But don't quote me that when you stop your body will produce its own. 8 weeks wow. It seems so far away for me. I'm trying to work out when I will have a scan . Is it at week 5 so maybe 3 weeks from now ?

@Justawannabemam our clinic says 3 weeks from OTD so it was quite late for me! I tested later than usual too!

Today should be 7w 4d but I am measuring ahead at 8w! Also saw a healthy heart beat as well, though i would have liked to listen to it!

She said all is well and she's happy with the progress! So surreal seeing it on screen...

we managed a normal ultrasound which was great as I had prepared myself for a vaginal one. Now I need to make my appointment with the GP and midwife and go from there!

I also asked about the pesseries, as I did a fresh transfer I stop taking them at the end of week 8. So I actually have the correct amount of pessaries!!

only couple of days left until you ring the clinic, maybe they might get you in around 6 weeks for your viability scan?

Hi there

I'm 2 days away from OTD .

2 x 3BB embies put back in the oven on the 16th . Hopefully both cooking nicely.

I was quite positive at first . Then I was wobbly. I'm okay now . I've done clear blues and they are positive. I got some strip ones and there's a line. Albeit a faint one but hopefully that will darkened I the next few days . I'm not sure how light or dark it should about now . Any thoughts ?

Can’t belive you’re both pregnant and I’m only starting I have a trasfer in 4 weeks hopefully it all goes well !! I will have 3AA trasferred !! Just the one ! My fresh cycle got cancelled few months ago due to OHSS but now I’m more than ready for FET 😍 I’m just on my oestrogen patches for 3 weeks and then will have a scan and then a week later will have trasfer I’m so exited !
When is your scan date ? Normally they scan you at 7 weeks

Yeh I hope they get darker otherwise it might be a different story. Honestly I'll be glad when Thursday comes . Because in the last 3 days I've probably spent about 50 quid on tests 😂😂

Aww your not far behind . I read all your journey your so brave . I honestly think I would have given up. I found the bursellin injection easy . I was on holiday so that took up most of the 3 weeks the worse part for us is the travelling over everytime. Although we'd do it again if need be .

I dont have a scan date yet . I was hoping it might be about 5 weeks I've been off work sick since I started apart from the hols and I'm due to go back this weekend so I guess I'll have to go Friday Saturday or Monday to pick up more meds. But work have to treat me as pregnant now so I should get ti.e off easily.
