Thanks @Vparisi have a lining scan booked in for 16th. I’ve been drinking my weight in pomegranate juice so fingers crossed it will be thick enough and then you go in 5 days later for ET.

Hi lovely bunch! Just back from EC, in quite a lot of pain. Good news we did get 15 eggs! Which I understand it's a good number. They will be doing ICSI, sperm sample had great amount, very good motility (literally from 18% last analysis to 71%!), but morphology was low at 2%. Now we just need 15 good looking sperms to fertilise the eggs!

Team was amazing, we felt very cared for. I was very anxious for today, and when they strap you down in theatre is a bit scary, but then I slept and woke up surprised that it was all done!
Pain after is real, so I do recommend a nice Heat Pad (poundland has 2 for £1) afterwards.

Now is a waiting game (again) and tomorrow we will know how many fertilised and when ET is (most likely Saturday).

@morganablue that is a great number and an extraordinary improvement in motility also. We are doing ICSI also due to morphology - after my many health problems it was a shock to learn DP had terrible morphology as we assumed he would just be great. So interested to see how it goes with you. Sounds like the team was great - always seems like the experience when you're in is a pretty stark contrast from the early communication stages. Hope you're feeling better and have a good rest and some fries.

Just had the go ahead to start tonight - scared!! Husband is just getting taught how to stab me - feel like he's a bit too excited about it 😂😂😂

@Vparisi here are the updates: from 15 egged, they ICSI 14(one was too not mature enough) and 10 fertilised! For the rest is exactly as @RiverRiot said, they booked me for transfer on day 5 (Saturday morning), they won't give me more updates on embryos until then (so won't know quality, how many made it from day 3 etc) or tell me how many they can freeze (if any). I am just hoping we have at least one to put in and one to freeze! And DC is not allowed, so gonna have to go on my own.

I am still at home in loads of pain, but gonna call ACU to see if normal.

Ive also had a bit of a sickness bug the last couple of days & still feel grotty which is not pleasant 🤢

Don't honestly, I'm sooooo annoyed about it at the moment 😒 realistically to meet their time frames we can only be waiting another 3 weeks can't we? So frustrated with it all & I daren't email again as I'm sure I'll get another "as previously advised" & that'll just wind me up even more 😂

Welcome @EmJay19 ! Fingers crossed for you on Friday! Just checking if that means frozen embryo transfer? I have my fresh cycle embryo transfer on Saturday(hoping I have embryos to put back, you don't hear updates until day 5), we can keep each other sane for the TWW!

How long it was the waiting time for you (From first appointment to starting the treatment)?

sounds lovely @Etonmess20 but yes you definitely did bring the rain back...I have to say my first summer in the UK is not wowing me haha! Hope you feel much better very soon. I am good, just made the decision Monday that if I have 5 weeks I am going to try and be super clean with diet etc so I have cut caffeine out past 2 days and I am having the worst headaches for withdrawals. Not sure it even makes a difference but hope all worth it in the end....

Yeah I am so frustrated as well, it is odd cos the head nurse reaffirmed only last week that it will be 8-10 weeks from my appointment and still nothing for us and @HereToLearnAndShare (10 weeks today right?). Seems weird to give that timeframe so recently if it wasn't achievable. Everyone I know was celebrating the end of restrictions on the 19th but for me I just got anxious and stressed because I worry that hospitals will get a lot busier and the delays will get worse. All my fingers crossed we get some calls soon.

@Vparisi yes, this week is the 10th for me 😒 and my period should start in 3-4 days so no chances for me to strat in July... Which means FET in Sep or Oct 😳 It feels so long and so far in time ..

Yes @morganablue frozen transfer. Would love to be tww buddy ☺️*@HereToLearnAndShare* I have a 19mo DS from my second round at ACU. This frosty is left from that cycle. We’ve had to go private so the timeline has been pretty quick.

YAY @HereToLearnAndShare that is amazing!!! Can't be long for us then @Etonmess20. I'm at Guy's right now actually at a urologist appt the ACU told me to go to. It is soooo busy, running 1 hour late now for my appt...
