@HereToLearnAndShare no prob, my pleasure! She was a big help for you and so lovely. Following the nutrition (which is basically a very Mediterranean diet) gave me loads of energy, better sleep and I felt very healthy. So worth a go.

How is everyone doing today?

I am feeling like dragging rocks in my lower belly. Went to work today (I have done few days from home, literally from my bath tube as I was so uncomfortable) to get distracted. Friday morning is decision day and I am so anxious about it!

Thanks @morganablue ! It's pretty close to my diet already actually except I don't eat meat at all besides fish....maybe I should incorporate some from time to time to get more in sync with the plan. You must be looking forward to your scan tomorrow. Hope you're feeling a little better today, sounds awful! You're not making me excited for the meds haha. Lucky for WFH.. the positive thing to come out of this pandemic.

@thislittlebird 8.5 weeks now and they said 8-10 in the email. My cycle starts 12th July so not sure I'm gonna get the call for the meds in time. Still crossing my fingers for a miracle. And yeah definitely make sure you're clear on the 'rounds' definition as the whole thing is soo bureaucratic. Hope your referral went thorough already! Mine took a couple weeks.

@Welshpea that is interesting about the pill and good news! I didn't realise they did that.

@Etonmess20 Edinburgh sounds lovely. Hope you have the best time and can take your mind off everything. Worked out well with Vegas.

Thanks @GJW2018 for the tip although we probably aren't at the complaints stage yet I guess. Can't believe yours took 2 years...must be such a relief to be finally there!

@Vparisi thank you, I really need it tbh! Hoping to be able to get away for a proper holiday in September but this should do until then!
I don't see how it can be too much longer before we're contacted, maybe mid July? I'm resigned to starting in August now despite initially hoping for July! Bloody hope it's August anyway 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Vparisi lol sorry, not meant to get you anxious for the meds. It's an exciting time when you finally start meds, but hormones have an impact on your body/emotions, however I promise, times goes so quickly.
Also drugs really do affect everyone differently and not all people get sides effects (although some side affects towards the end, are normal, such as feeling bloated, etc). It's good to be prepared and then if you get none, it's a win win :)
I cannot wait for tomorrow's scan to understand what's going on, at the same time, I am getting any sort of anxiety thinking of all possible options (for this, I also blame the hormone cocktail).

Waiting to start treatment is excruciating, I was there not many weeks ago and was one of the worst times (started the referral/gp exams process in summer 2020 and yet those 8-10 weeks have been the worst, I was ready to go already). Sending strength guys @Etonmess20 @Vparisi !

@morganablue oh yes I imagine it goes so quickly! Yeah it definitely is excruciating. Hopefully not long to go. Good luck with your scan today! Let us know how you go.

@Etonmess20 yep you'll have an amazing time! Just watching football really, nothing exciting. Hoping we get the call in next couple weeks. I did think it wss weird you got 7 May on your email and I got 4 May.

Hi all and thank you so much for asking @HereToLearnAndShare!
I am just back from work, def a busy day!
So, great news is I responded very well treatment with 20 overall follicles(and many of good size)!. Trigger shot tomorrow night and EC scheduled for Monday morning! Fingers crossed, excited and nervous!

How are you all going?

List must be going nice and fast, even only in my 1.5 hours there, there were 4 news couples for first consultation, 2 couples for EC, 4 ladies for first scan. So hold on in there!

@morganablue thats great news! 20 is a decent figure and by Mon thy will be some more for sure!

For me it was just the end of the 9th week waiting and the chances to start the treatment in July are very low now 🙄 even if its delayed by Aug I want at least to know. Waiting is just terrible.

@morganablueand I like how you identified all people in the waiting room 😅 you are like a spy reporting to the group 🕵️‍♀️

@HereToLearnAndShare lol it's incredible how many abilities you can learn, shocks spending hours in waiting rooms yas, usually a good response it's 8-15, so they thought it was a great response of good seizes too! Let's hope they have eggs inside abs they are nice and mature for Monday!

I’ve finallyyyyy started my period today which means we begin our FET cycle! Starting on the oestrogen and I’m scaaared, the side effects do naaat sound pretty!

@GJW2018 ooh great you get to start now. I'm sure you'll be fine with the side effects, you'll just be thinking about what's to come instead! Do you have your dates lined out for scans etc?

Hey @becarefuloutthere how are you feeling?
No dates yet. I emailed them when I started this morning so just waiting for a response. They said before that they will book a lining scan between 10-14 days after my cycle starts so will probably hear back from them tomorrow. Exciting! You have your scan soon don’t you? I wanted to ask about the progesterone, do they give you enough to carry you through or do you have to order more and when do you come off of them? They’ve given me utrogestan, is that what you’ve had? Sorry 20 questions! Xx

Ask away hun! So they give you enough to see you through from EC to tww and a bit beyond and when you call up to say your pregnant you get a load more. It comes within a day usually. I'm on that one too so seems we all get given the same one x

@becarefuloutthere oh yay not long till you see your little one! Boo to the nausea but will all be worth it!
That’s good that you get more when you get your BFP. Now to try and mentally prepare myself for that TWW. I’ve been soooo anxious the last two weeks, praying it will start to die down now there’s some action!

@GJW2018 yeah just hope we see a heartbeat! 🤞🏾
Having a POA should defo help the anxiety die down a bit but the whole thing is so anxiety inducing, it's very up and down with what you go through. We'll be here to help support and advise where we can ♥️

@GJW2018 that is exciting! Hope the side effects aren't too bad for you. Did you get the scan booked today?
