YAY @HereToLearnAndShare and @Vparisithat this is amazing!!! And when you get the meds is suddenly so real! (I suggest making some space in the fridge, I was shocked about how much they filled up by fridge!). Also Tamara is a gem!!
@Etonmess20 it won't be long! They called me on Sat, so really it can be at any point. If you do not pick up for any reason, they email, so you cannot miss it.
To recap what happens is useful for anyone:
You will receive meds before your scan (you may already given them already a day or you need to call them to tell them). The company will contact you to confirm shipping and you need to sign the meds at home (cannot be at work). You place one lot in the fridge and another lot is stored at room temp(they will tell you which one goes where, but it is also written on pack anyway). I got mine one month prior (as soon as I got the call) to make sure.
You will email the nurse team on the day of your period to confirm it was on the expected day and scan day is confirmed. (My period came one day before, my scan day did not change). You do not any injections until after they say so after your scan, when they confirm that your lining is good to start. You usually start on that evening.
After the scan, you will be given a demonstration by a nurse of how to use the first jab (Menopur in my case). When you get your meds there is also a QR code you can scan and a video to watch. Nurse will also give you a schedule of meds, including when to start second jab (at morning) and which is predicted day you need be back in for a second scan (mine was on 11th day, but this can change. It is usually between 9th-11th day).
You got this guys!
