Hi,

Is anyone else having or had a transfer this week? I need people to talk to during the TWW! x

Oh @Ivfgottahope THATS BRILLIANT NEWS!!!!!! Massive congratulations, you must be so so happy. Really pleased for you .

We ended up having 1 transferred as the embryologist said the other had developed a bit more since we spoke earlier today and there were some cells she wasn't sure about. She said a few on the outside looked darker than the rest which could mean they have died. She will check again in the morning and will call, but sounds like all our hope is now in this little one inside me.

@Goldilocks2528 congratulations on your transfer!! How are you feeling?
Keeping my fingers crossed for good news tomorrow anyway x

Thanks @beachbum85. Both a bit gutted really that the second will probably not make it, but we’ve got this far and now we just have to hope.
Feel a little bit twingy inside but that’s probably just where the catheter went in.
Test day will be Friday 9th. Other half suggested I take the day off, and I do think that’s a good idea because if it’s negative I won’t be in a fit state to drive to work. I had days off last week though for the collection and I’m not sure if I can ask for that day off too. I’ll have to have a think about it.

I can totally understand that @Goldilocks2528 - it's such a mixed bag of emotions! Take it easy on yourself...
Same test day here! I've taken the day off... I work from home but I think I'll need some time to process things whatever happens, but I had a lot of carry-over from last year so that was an easy decision. I hope you manage to get the day off if you decide it makes sense for you!

@Goldilocks2528 thank you so much for your sweet words! Very surreal feeling, I really didn’t expect it to be a BFP as no part of this has been plain sailing. So sorry to hear you’re a bit gutted, I’ve none left in the freezer so I know how you feel, but try to focus on the one you’ve had transferred. I’ve got everything crossed for you for some nice news to tomorrow 🤞🏽Xxx

@IloveHaroldBishop thank you so much 😘 no, I’m on 6dp5dt. I was too impatient and decided to test just on the off chance and I did about five tests this morning to check 🤣 OTD is Thursday xx

I’m so so so so scared about testing.
My OTD is next week and I don’t even want to I do it on the day as I don’t want to deal with the emotions it’ll bring!!!
We also have no embies left after this. Xxxx

@IloveHaroldBishop I am sure test day is very very scary. You want it to work so much, have invested so much energy, emotion and money. Try to think positive thoughts though. Try to imagine it as more of an exciting time rather than a stressful one xx

Positive mental attitude is defo what I need!!!! We can’t change the outcome but we can deal with it as positively as possible. Thanks for giving my head a shake! 😘👏🏻 Xx

@IloveHaroldBishop I totally understand, I was terrified. I did one on day 4 and it was understandably negative and I was obsessing over it after so I can see why people don’t rush doing them early. I was shaking at 5am when I did mine today. like @Goldilocks2528 said, it is very scary, this process becomes all consuming, just be kind to yourself and go at your own pace with it all xx

My 9th transfer
2 embabies on board
I'm currently on lubion injection twice a day, lentogest every other day, inhixa once a day plus cyclogest 3 pessaries a day, utrogestan and progynova

I'm on my 2nd IVF cycle and I'm 2dp5dt so not far away from you. I'm just on the 2 Cyclogest pessaries and 40mg Clexane per day.
When's your OTD? I'm testing 7dp5dt (Sunday) as I'm pretty sure if Im preg ill get a faint line on a first responser. Xx

Hi @Rachae oo only few days apart, I'm testing sunday too! I will be 10dp, I would have caved today but I get my OH my tests to hide so that I can't test early

Yea, I'm feeling ok thanks. Usual progestrone symptoms of tired, bloating, crampy and headache. Trying hard not to symptom spot as I know it's pretty pointless this early!
It would be so nice to get a positive but staying rational with it too... what will be will be this time.

@Rachae yeah I'm the same symptom wise, tired and bloated. I've got progesterone blood test tomorrow to check all ok with that then will just have to wait and see on Sunday. Just try enjoy being PUPO x

Sorry for the silence today, I’ve been in a state of panic. I had mild cramping last night but when I went to the loo before bed there was some brown discharge (sorry for tmi), which has been there today too along with continued cramps. As I’m 7dp5dt I don’t feel it’s implantation although my clinic assured me as it’s brown it very likely is, and the cramping is normal at this stage. I did another hpt and the pregnancy line was stronger than it was before so god only knows what’s going on but I’m panicking it’s AF on its way. Why does everything about this process have to contain an element of fear and you can’t just enjoy it fully. Sorry to be negative. Bad day!

Hey @Ivfgottahope that all sounds ok to me! The biggest sign is that the pregnancy line got stronger! Also.. AF can't be on its way if you got a positive test Brown blood is old blood and its red that you have to worry about. I doubt its implantation as that occurs 1-2 days after transfer... it could be old blood or from your cervix, as I read that's normal once the embryo implants... Things just sort of move around which can cause a bleed xx

@Rachae ah thank you, it’s nice to have some reassurance as the clinic I’m sure just try to pacify you so you don’t pester them needlessly! Do you think the cramping is normal too? I’m trying to avoid doctor google at the min and just take my mind off it as best I can but I’m dreading it every time I go to the toilet! There isn’t tons of it, like I don’t need a pad or anything. It’s just a bit alarming and it’s my first time with all of this xx

Aww I know how it feels.. yea cramping is totally normal and I've got that even now as its a response to the progestrone either way. I doubt the two are connected though I know to have both could feel alarming. Just try to rest and to keep calm... remembering brown blood is old blood. If you're taking a test and the line is getting stronger, youre pregnant xx

So I went for my first beta today it was 542 at 10dpt5dpt! I only transferred one boy...
