Hi,

Is anyone else having or had a transfer this week? I need people to talk to during the TWW! x

Sorry to be stupid but I’m new to the lingo - I’m guessing PT stands for post transfer but what does dp stand for?

Well my update this morning was great, but I am having to keep reminding myself it is only day 2, a lot can still go wrong either now or after transfer.

The embryologist said both eggs had divided into 4 cells in a good amount of time and were doing really well. Her actual words were "It couldn't be going any better at this stage". She is going to call me about 8am tomorrow, and they will then decide whether to transfer tomorrow or leave them to culture until Monday... eek.

Keep imagining them in their little petri dishes. Sorry if that's weird !

Thank you all. It's still early early days but a line is a line.. Atleast I know my uterus is capable of conceiving which is the first step!

Is anybody taking Ubiquinol? I am still taking 400mg a day, and am not sure when to stop. Some clinics say day before egg collection, others say when you get a positive test. My clinic didn't tell me to take it, I just took it upon myself based on the fact I have DOR. It Starts With The Egg seems to say that it can help with lining and it's ok to take until a positive test. I just wondered what everyone else thought?

What’s the earliest can we realistically test? Mines a FET so I think the risk of false positives is reduced compared to fresh. Also, do you count the day of transfer as one of the days? Mine was in the morning... impatience is kicking in now!

@Ivfgottahope the following day is day 1... I think when you take an hcg trigger shot there is a risk for false positive otherwise not. Some people start on day 4, others say day 7 is a safe day. I tested on day 6 and my line was pretty strong so I reckon I might have seen on day 4 but def day 5. My transfer was at 8:30 am though

You can test anytime but in previous FET I tested at 9 days after transfer it was negative.
My clinic tests 13 days past transfer so this time I’m just going to wait for that as I got my hopes up big time previously and added lots of emotions.
But I do understand how hard it is too wait so testing might reassure or at least confirm yes/no.
But remember a BFN can be a BFP a day or two later so no one is officially out until the proper test day!

@IloveHaroldBishop agreed! I was soo nervous today to test as I knew I was a little early. I wanted to hold out Atleast till tomorrow. My clinic tests 9 days after the transfer normally

Hey everyone! Im (hopefully) transferring this Sunday. Had my day 3 update today and out of 11 fertilised eggs, 4 are good quality and 6 are 'average'.

It's my second round of IVF and last round was similar numbers at this stage and we just ended up with 1 early blasto on transfer day.

Can’t believe I am going to ask this, but I literally have no dignity anymore

We haven’t had sex since a few days before egg collection. Does anybody know when it’s safe to have it, in either the front or the back door? The Cyclogest worry me. Don’t want him sprouting boobs, and don’t want to mess anything up by not waiting either. Sorry

I'm sure it won't be a prob but, like @Ivfgottahope I've also abstained for quite some time! I've found the hormones have just completely switched me off!

@Goldilocks2528 my doctor told me to wait till I hear the heartbeat... although I'm sure the back door is fine after a few days after the transfer. The reason he said to abstain was because it makes the uterus contract

Anyone else's transfer day tomorrow? It's agonising! I'm so worried about waking up and clock watching until my transfer time.. As they said if they don't call then its good news and it goes ahead.

EC was nowhere near as awful as i thought it would be. I’d definitely be able to go through it again if I had to, but let’s hope I don’t!
