Iv seen videos from 3dpt and 5dpt but I think 3dpt is to early for a real positive, but im testing on cheapies just so i know when the trigger shot is out of my system. I currently have a faint line atm hoping in a few days will be gone.

@Pansy222 your doing well, I wouldnt be able to hold of, thanks to @Mancbear88 I have an excuse to say I have to test now lol so I can monitor the trigger shot getting out my system.

@Pansy222 I'm the same as you I think I will drive myself crazy testing and stressing if it's negative so it's probably best for me not to.

It’s such a personal choice. It’s like this itch you have to scratch, I will be rattling to test by Friday !!!!

Hi @Melissa1983 no I didn’t this transfer but definitely have a little in previous transfers.

@Pansy222 I think it’s most sensible to wait till OTD to avoid all the stress. However I have no will power and even now at 1dp5dt I’m having to stop myself testing despite knowing it’s pointless 😂 so no chance I’ll be able to wait 2 weeks!!

@Melissa1983 I love it too! :) as for the test.. as it's not my first time I'm doing this, take my advice, throw the test in the trash, throw the trush out and keep yourself away from them, I did that mistake once too, my doctor then told me it was too early, I should not do this, (ofcourse i knew that but still did it) but in the end if you do it and comes negative, when it comes to the correct date and blood test you will not know if it did not go well because it was not going well any way or because of you crying non stop and being sad.. be brave, I know its not easy but you can do this :)

@marianmaria totally agree my mental health really suffered when testing early in the past.
I promised my husband I would leave them alone this time round.
Currently I’m 4dp5dt and itching to know what’s happening inside 😣😣

@Pansy222 On my last round I resisted testing until OTD. I didn't even buy the tests until the day before so I couldn't have tested early if I wanted to.

I did end up testing at about 3am on OTD, but that was because I woke up at that time really needing the loo. It was a BFN and hurt like hell but I think I only would've tortured myself with hope if I'd tested negative earlier.

Thank you @RichmondLady1981 I feel emotionally wiped out after the last few days so I'm trying not to think about it today as I won't be hearing anything.

Anyone else get really heavy sore boobs after egg collection? TMI but my nipples also seem to be permanently out at the moment, maybe its the trigger shot effecting me!

@Motherofkittens28 - I feel like I've gone up a whole cup size! My nipples are so sore too!!

Regarding testing - I'm going to try and stay away from testing until at least 9 days past transfer.

I am so crampy today with lower back pain - hate progesterone!

@Motherofkittens28 that’s exactly me currently, my Partner even asked last night if I was cold 😂

the fertility nurse at the hospital did say I could experience some pregnancy like symptoms a few days after EC and it’s totally normal, sore boobs cramping sickness etc , which is caused by the type of trigger shot I took

@Mancbear88 so I went back and look at the cheapy I did yesterday and the line is actually really strong considering I'm 9dp trigger shot, im wondering it must be because I did x2 250iu ovidrel trigger shot, so its very much still in my system, iv looked up YouTube and so many woman monitor the trigger shot leaving there system, its actually a good idea really.
I'm going to test again at the same time as yesterday and hope its fading out my system hopefully.

How are use ladies feeling today 3dp5dt I'm still feeling nauseas and back is ache.

@Mrbay @Georgia2799 my nipples were crazy after trigger. Even the day after and the day of EC, they've calmed down since thankfully!

I've just arrived for ET, a little early. Hoping for good news on the number of embryos. Good luck to anyone else having ET today.

@Blessing12 The trigger makes things tricky doesn’t it - in that sense I can definitely see why so many people test it out. I woke in the night with nausea but it’s gone now. Also had bad cramps last night, but they’ve gone too. Not sure when I’m going to give in to POAS. I’m supposed to wait for blood test on Monday, but it’s a 2.5 hour drive into london to have it and I think I’d rather know before that :/ x

Congratulations to the ones who already has BFP's... and baby dust to the ones on their way on this journey..

Need some guidance and advice on how hopeful I should be.
It's my first ivf.
I have started my journey and started taking injections from Sunday

I had 11 follicle on initial scan(2 can't be counted) and I am 36.

How will this work I am very nervous 😬

@Blessing12 I think I got the negative on the Friday after my fresh on the Monday, everyone is different though, not sure how a double trigger would affect it.
Symptoms wise I had a bit of cramping last night (although i think it’s largely trapped wind from progesterone), I’ve had nausea on and off, and bit of back pain. Also I cannot stop thinking about white magnums - I’ve not seen anyone else report this as a symptom though

Thanks everyone for your well wishes - it is so nice to share this journey and feel your support.

ET was not exactly as I'd hoped. After starting with 17 eggs, 13 fertilised, and 7 we had yesterday, we were down to just 2 C grade embryos today. So both have been put back and now I just need to try and relax and keep everything crossed.

Seems we may finally have a bit of an explanation as to why we've never been pregnant before though - I'm 31 and the embryologist said she'd expect better quality / more blastocysts for someone my age considering where we started.

The others are going to be cultured until tomorrow but embryologist was honest and said she doesn't hold out much hope for them.

Anyway, I've got to focus on the 2 that are now in my womb. I'm a mix of emotions - disappointed that there is nothing for the freezer, so we only have one shot at this, but also ecstatic to have got this far and be PUPO! What an emotional day.

I will be trying to resist the urge to test until 13th March. OTD is 15th.
