@2mumlife that is such great news! I am so happy for you :)

@Blessing12 I think I will have to - I am finding it so hard to hold out. I have ordered 2 FRER tests which will arrive tomorrow - so may test Saturday. I mentioned it to DH this morning as he is so against testing early - I thought I should just sow the seed!

@Mrbay I am now 6dp5dt. It's funny - I have been so aware of what day p5dt it is that I managed to totally lose a day, and was convinced today was weds!

@JessTTC lots of luck to you for today. Thank you also for what you said about gradings. I have been really worried about my 4bc - google didn't help - but I am going to keep your words in mind :)

I'm passing the time with walks and far too much comfort eating. I really think I need to step away from the haribo!

My 3 things: Looking forward to a walk in the woods after lunch, planning some lazy sofa time now, and did I mention the haribo?!

Blessing12 · 04/03/2021 10:54

@thetallgirl hey, I also had grade c transferred im now 3dpt, it was the best I had out of them all and was the only one that looked the best from the beginning.
PUPO
Good luck

Blessing12 · 04/03/2021 10:57

Iv tested this morning with a cheapy and the Trigger shot has finally left my system, im still feeling nauseous from the cyclogest and I have the worst headache today.

thetallgirl · 04/03/2021 11:01

@Blessing12 team grade C! Fingers crossed for our little embabies.

Knowing the trigger is out of your system is good - how many days is that 9? 10?

@JessTTC thank you! What you said was somewhat echoed by the embryologist this morning so I'm feeling quite encouraged now!

Tarsette · 04/03/2021 11:06

Hi, can I jump onto this thread with a very specific question? I am day 8 of injections with 300 iu of Gonal F and had a scan today. I have 16 follicles growing (above 8mm) but my doctor thinks they are all growing a bit slowly, so has added Menopur into my protocol and I will probably have to have 12 days of injections instead of the expected 10. I am a bit worried now. Has anyone else experience slow growing eggs? Did it stop you having enough good quality ones in the end? How many mm did they reach after 8 days of injections (if you can recall)? Thanks!

Blessing12 · 04/03/2021 11:07

@thetallgirl iv done alot of research on grade c and they are still good, there are so many success stories with grade C embies.

I'm day 10 since trigger I had 500iu trigger so double the normal 250iu, im glad I tested it out when I did so now I know if a line now appears it will be a positive pregnancy test.

Mancbear88 · 04/03/2021 11:20

@Blessing12 good to see your trigger has left!

I’m 3dp5dt and not feeling a huge amount of symptoms. I have slight headaches and nausea on and spells of dizziness. I also had a weird tight heavy feeling across my uterus yesterday. I’m also starving. But none are particularly strong, and all could be the drugs.

My three:
I can listen to the new sofa cinema club podcast on my walk
I don’t have anything I have to do today if I don’t want to
I’ve started rewatching criminal minds and I love it!

Blessing12 · 04/03/2021 11:32

@Mancbear88 yes feel relieved now its gone, I have exactly the same but havnt had to cramping, I did have like shooting like pains but nothing painful, apart from that nothing either.
This headache isn't budging which is annoying.

Motherofkittens28 · 04/03/2021 11:46

Can I add a fourth thing as I just had the day 3 call and my one and only is now an 8 cell embryo and developing great! I think she said excellent quality at this stage but these calls are so overwhelming I cant precisely remember! Apparently they look for it to be between 6 and 9 cells at this stage. Hurdle 2 passed! Apparently they will only call me Saturday morning if it hasn't progressed otherwise I'm heading for embryo transfer at 11:40 on Saturday. Praying not to hear from them!

Blessing12 · 04/03/2021 11:48

@Motherofkittens28 brilliant news, good luck for Saturday.

Mrbay · 04/03/2021 12:02

@Pansy222 - it's hard to know if to wait or just to crack on and test?! Congratulations on the job!!! That is really excellent news!

@Melissa1983 - I really don't know if I will test Saturday just in case, the nurse said that Saturday should tell me either way.
Loving the breakfast in bed! Well done DP!!!
Loving the colour way of your knitting, very neat too!

@RichmondLady1981 - a cycle along the Thames sounds lovely, how busy is London at the moment? I cannot wait for lockdown to be over as I would like to visit BIL&SIL and explore London! Very jealous of the coffee!

@thetallgirl - a million bloody YESS!!!!! I bet you are super chuffed :)
Massive well done to DH!!

Anyone else eating themselves out of house and home?

RichmondLady1981 · 04/03/2021 12:12

@Motherofkittens28 whoopeeee! Amazing and so happy for you! A real fighter this one. 8 is the ideal number of cells for this stage you know! 😁

Melissa1983 · 04/03/2021 12:14

@Pansy222 oh wow that's lovely, I didn't know it'd be as simple as watching YouTube so I may just do that as I just love knitted items.

@thetallgirl congratulations on being PUPO and so glad the embryologist has made you feel better about going forward 🥰

@Mancbear88 I'm also symptom spotting and there is nothing for me. I had cramping on transfer day and yesterday but nothing today so no doubt I'll be driving myself crazy with that

@Motherofkittens28 congratulations on your embryo update and good Luck for Saturday

RichmondLady1981 · 04/03/2021 12:16

@Mrbay just had to google BIL and SIL!! Haha.

I live close to Richmond park and at weekends, the riverside and park are MOBBED as there’s nothing else to do in lockdown. I get the fast train to Waterloo for my scans/treatment and it’s like a ghost town.... So weird.

Oh yes do it. Love London in the summer especially- such a great vibe!

dragonfly1978 · 04/03/2021 12:27

@Motherofkittens28 that's great news! I hopefully have my transfer at 11am on Saturday so we will have the same TWW. They don't disturb the embryos where I am so I have no day three update, just have to hope some of the six that fertilised make it to Saturday. Fingers crossed I won't get a phone call 🤞

Motherofkittens28 · 04/03/2021 12:34

Thank you everyone!
@dragonfly1978 thats lovely to have someone on almost exactly the same timeframe! All fingers and toes crossed that we both get PUPO on Saturday!

Mrbay · 04/03/2021 12:46

@Motherofkittens28 - now the username makes sense! I just love cats!
I have EVERYTHING crossed for you, I know it is hard having to jump over every bloody hurdle but you will get there

@HopingForRainbow2021 - I know I keep forgetting what day it is! Fingers crossed for positive news on Saturday. Loving the haribo!! May have to raid my stash now

@Blessing12 - at least you know now, that the next time you see a positive, it is correct - everything crossed for you my lovely

@Tarsette - welcome! I don't think that they that far behind, lots of ladies have to stim for nearly 14 days, but I believe that if they all grow at the same rate together it means you'll get some good eggs! Good luck and feel free to hang around for support if you like :)

@Mancbear88 - I fell the same! I keep getting slight pains but not like period cramps, I cannot control my eating and I am so tired!!

@RichmondLady1981 - LOL!
I suppose there isn't a lot to do and forgive my lack of tack, but I assume that lots of people don't have their own gardens? Sorry I've been to London like 3/4 times in my life!! I am such a country girl!

@dragonfly1978 - good luck for saturday! If it helps, 5 of my 6 made it to day 5/6 :)

OP posts:
thetallgirl · 04/03/2021 13:33

@Tarsette I stimmed for 14 days in total as they wanted my follicles to keep growing. I was on Ovaleap 300 IU a day. I don't think stimming for longer is a bad thing if it means the smaller follicles are going to be able to make mature eggs rather than losing them.

Rachae · 04/03/2021 13:59

@dragonfly1978 oh wow short protocol is exciting!! All my fingers crossed for you. I'm in noman's land at the mo... long protcol and the classic no-show period! Baseline scan on Monday so sort of praying it shows up early.
@Mrbay yes to the eating! Though I got on the scales today and i'm shocked that ive put on 4lbs in 2 and a half weeks! I do 4 pelaton bike sessions a week and so can't believe I'd put that much on. Hoping lots is water weight.

Good luck to all for upcoming transfers this week! xx

Dbop100 · 04/03/2021 14:26

Hello! Started my shots last night and we're expected to do the egg collection next Friday, is anyone else on roughly the same timeline or is everyone in the TWW?

Tarsette · 04/03/2021 14:43

Thanks for your answers! @Dbop100 I should be having my egg collection next Wed (was expecting Monday but my follicles are growing slowly). I will have any blasts tested and frozen as I have already had 4 unsuccessful transfers so want to give myself maximum chances of it working this time. So I am looking at a transfer in April...

Pansy222 · 04/03/2021 14:53

Hi lovely ladies who are pre egg collection. 💘🌼 wishing you the healthiest next couple of weeks. I think the majority of us on here now are in our mind boggling 2ww xx

JessTTC · 04/03/2021 15:29

Just had our last two embryos transferred. A 5AB and 5BC, both hatching and good lookers apparently. We’ve had embryo glue, an embryo scratch, natural killer suppresents and extra progesterone this time - we’ve thrown everything at it because egg collection last time was so physically hard and made me so poorly that I really would love for that to have been the last one! Apparently it was a text book transfer, definitely felt smoother that previous transfers but maybe I’m just more used to them now! A depressing thought! Onto the TWW - feel like I’m walking on clouds right now, won’t be long for the panic to take over and I’ll come crashing back down to insane early hours of the morning google rabbit holes and ordering ridiculous amounts of first response tests! Aaaaah send help!

elsiegoggings · 04/03/2021 16:35

Hello! I've been very rubbish at posting in here! I'm off to the clinic tomorrow for chat with the embryologist and a Covid test ready for our FET next week! Has anyone else had to have a Covid test? We've been isolating all week - it's been ok but I feel for my 4 year old who's missing the park and his friends. Hopefully it'll all be worth it.
Hormones a bit mad today. I'm on Buserelin and some oestrogen tablets.

I'll have a read and try to catch up. I hope everyone is ok! Smile

elsiegoggings · 04/03/2021 16:36

@JessTTC wow that sounds super hopeful! Very good grade embies! Smile would you be happy with twins if it happened?
