@Doremifasol ooh that’s looking hopeful 🤞 how many dpt are you?

Doremifasol · 02/02/2021 08:30

@kikisparks I am 7 days post 3 day transfer.

Gardenlady543 · 02/02/2021 08:46

@kikisparks I feel the same about medications, if this FET doesn’t work I’ll be insisting on nothing but natural FET next time. Constant nausea and sleepless night vomiting on estradiol were not fun!

@Doremifasol that’s exciting, how many days post transfer are you? I did a cheap test the morning after my trigger and although a very obvious line was there it wasn’t like really really dark and when I started testing 5dp5dt in my fresh cycle there was absolutely no line, so I’d be excited if I were you! Could you do another cheap test and compare it to the post trigger ones?

indub · 02/02/2021 08:50

Looking good there @Doremifasol! May tomorrow's line be much darker Grin

Doremifasol · 02/02/2021 08:57

@Gardenlady543 I just did another cheap strip test and yes it's positive. Yesterday the line was barely visible but there whereas today it's much stonger... it can't be triger right?Confused I am so scared to even think about this being good news after all the heartbreak in the past.

Sorry to hear you are feeling so unwell😳

RichmondLady1981 · 02/02/2021 09:01

Omg @Doremifasol- this is soooo excited! Praying for that line to get darker!! 🙏🏼

Gardenlady543 · 02/02/2021 09:02

@Doremifasol I reckon the trigger would be out of your system! 🤞 the lines keep getting darker, are you still a fair way off from your OTD. I’m feeling better now thanks, things have eased over time, I’m at the clinic for my progesterone blood test right now with a plan for the transfer tomorrow! Just want to get on with things!

RichmondLady1981 · 02/02/2021 09:03

Ps @Doremifasol, what protocol are you on? How many follicles, eggs, embryos and blasts did you get? What was the implantation rate of this embryo. Sorry for all the questions.

RichmondLady1981 · 02/02/2021 09:04

@Gardenlady543 good luck with transfer tomorrow. X

Whitestripes007 · 02/02/2021 09:29

@Doremifasol Fingers crossed that the line keeps getting darker 🤞 I was utterly useless at waiting for the OTD last time too!

Gardenlady543 · 02/02/2021 09:34

Erg I asked when I’d find out the result of the progesterone test, the plan was... have the test the day before transfer (today) and if it’s under 50 to double my lubion injections (I take it in the morning, so I could find out the result today and then take an extra one tonight) and guess what I’m told, the result won’t be back until I have actually had the transfer as they send it off at 4pm.

Doremifasol · 02/02/2021 09:39

@RichmondLady1981 I was on short protocol (Bemfola 125). I had 12 follicles but only 6 were collected, 3 fertilised, day 3 transfer of 8 cell one. The other two didn't make it to blastocyst stage so we haven't got any frosties. I am not sure about implantation rate?Hmm

RichmondLady1981 · 02/02/2021 09:44

Wow that’s amazing! I know it’s a cliche but it’s true... it really does just take one good egg! Thank you so much for sharing that- gives us all hope.

Praying it’s extra sticky. 😀

IVFat43 · 02/02/2021 09:58

Hiya,
I’ve decided to have the “scratch” to increase my changes of implantation, it worked for my sister on her 3rd round and a friend of mine on her 2nd..both swore by it, has anyone else had this and it did it work? I’m also considering the glue, but I’ve heard this is a waste of money..🤔

hopefully21 · 02/02/2021 10:14

@Doremifasol congrats! That's wonderful news!

Hi @IVFat43 I had the endo scratch for my fresh cycle in 2017 and it didn't work for me. I had embryoglue for my FET later in 2017 and it did work, giving me my DD, but was part of a clinical trial which showed there was no advantage to using the glue.
We're trying for no. 2 at the moment and I'm having my FET this afternoon with no glue.

IVFat43 · 02/02/2021 11:22

@somethingfunny ah that’s interesting.. thank you!
Fingers crossed for you 🤞 good luck!

MF1981 · 02/02/2021 11:31

Great news @Doremifasol!

@kikisparks I know what you mean about long protocol FET - it takes so long and I wasn’t prepared for it because my fresh cycle was short protocol. I asked my clinic about shorter protocols and they said they would support me if I chose a different protocol and wanted to try it but that this is the one they get the best results out of.

@IVFat43 we had the glue because it was included in our package but also because we were told that for my age (39) it can improve chances of implantation by 5-7% so I felt we had nothing to lose by having it.

IVFat43 · 02/02/2021 11:35

@MF1981thank you, I’ll be 43 this month so I think I’ll have both the scratch and glue then

Tarsette · 02/02/2021 13:30

I had my scan today and my lining made it until 8mm, yay! So I at least get to transfer! Trigger tonight and transfer next Tuesday. The Frosties I have left are not amazing quality (my Dr suggested transferring a 3BB and a 4CB) but she thinks they are better than any fresh ones I could produce now, as I had my egg collection when I was 34 and am now 41. Really do hope grading is no that important!

esfran85 · 02/02/2021 13:42

Hey ladies,
first time discovering this forum and posting here...
I am on my first IVF cycle (started January). Yesterday I went for my betaHCG and got 4.3 -> they said even though it sounds more as a negative than positive, it's too borderline so I need to get back there tomorrow and see how the beta is evolving. Did anyone here have a similar case? I have all the feelings my period is coming and tbh, I just wanted to know whether is a yes or no, this wait sucks.

Birdladybird · 02/02/2021 14:06

So this mornings development is that my bleeding has stopped. It has been lightly coating a pad for one day, not my usual AF amount. My HCG has come back at 7! Under 5 is negative but I’m in the ‘grey area’. Saga continues.

cher1981 · 02/02/2021 14:18

I have my fingers crossed for that PG test line to darken @Doremifasol and those borderline HCG levels too @Birdladybird and @esfran85

Reporting in at 4dp5dt ... nothing of note happening but there's still hope right!

esfran85 · 02/02/2021 14:45

Thank you @cher1981 :)
I am on 12dp5dt... I am pretty sure will be a bfn, but keeping myself positive and planning next steps.

esfran85 · 02/02/2021 14:53

And one more question to this super helpful and cheerful group... the ppl at the clinic told me I wouldn't have my period as long as I am taking the progesterone.. is that true? When I did my IUI, I had progesterone too (at lower doses, just 200mg, now I am at 400). Just wondering as I start getting late to my period.
