Hey @chocolate336 I had 2 embryos put back and am now 18 weeks pregnant with twins. We were told our odds of multiples was between 15 and 20% but that putting 2 back would increase our chances overall. So we thought there was a pretty low chance of twins but we were prepared to have twins if they both implanted - I’m 40 now so happy to have our family all in one go. I guess it depends on your embryo quality, your age and whether having 2 put back increases your chances of at least 1 of them sticking. Also how happy you are to be pregnant with and raise twins. We thought long and hard about it, thought about the cost of having 2 babies, childcare etc. It’s such a personal decision to make.

@MF1981 Congratulations!!! Such a big decision..... I am 33 this year with four good quality Frosties left..... very lucky. The waiting for me is brutal..... if covid wasn't a factor we would be starting treatment straight away.... but since feb... the waiting list has doubled from 6 weeks to 12-14 weeks! And then it's even if they can take you the month you start your cycle.... they might not be able to fit you in that month! I'm thinking I want to have the best chances next go..... but we have 12-14 weeks to think it over lol x
@hopefully21 sorry to hear that. if I have to do another cycle, I’m going to request I don’t go on them! I’ve read that on short cycles (like I’m doing) you don’t need to go on pills, that you can go with the flow of your natural cycle. I really need to ask more questions when I’m with the specialist! 🤦🏼‍♀️
I'm scheduled for a FET transfer in January 2021. I started estrogen pills on day two of my period about a week ago. Each pill is 2mg, first started taking one pill twice a day, then three times a day. After a scan yesterday the nurse said I need to take four pills per day.

I don't know WTF is in these pills, but I feel weird. I never knew side effects could kick in so quickly. I have low-level nausea (even when taken with food), headaches, minor fatigue and low-level pain (not soreness) in my right boob.

After I took the fourth pill last night I had such an awful headache I was convinced it must be COVID, but I keep testing negative.

My doctor has advised I need to continue these throughout the entire first trimester if the implantation is successful. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to manage. I haven't even started the other progesterone and whatever other drugs yet.

I don't know what else I can do. I'm drinking water, staying active, eating healthy, etc.

I feel like some sort of freak science experiment.
