Started the nasal spray today in addition to the esteadiol and my life is now being lived in 2-4 hour increments between medication, currently I have to take meds at 7am, 9am, 12pm, 2pm, 6pm, 6.30pm and 11pm. Scan tomorrow, please let my lining be decent 🤞

MF1981 · 01/02/2021 09:44

I’m sorry @Birdladybird

unknownscot · 01/02/2021 09:54

@Birdladybird
I'm so sorry. I'm sure you will be heartbroken. Here if you need anything. Take care of yourself xx

IVFat43 · 01/02/2021 10:52

@Birdladybird sorry to read, hope 24hrs works it’s magic!

Had my first scan (day 5) responding to the stims well, lining 8.4 and 11 follies 😅

IVFat43 · 01/02/2021 10:53

Follies 😂.....Follicles

unknownscot · 01/02/2021 11:25

Unfortunately 0 made it to blast.

I'm absolutely heartbroken and don't know where to go from here. Review meeting is averaging at 4 weeks just now. I feel so helpless waiting that long.

X

Sunbird24 · 01/02/2021 11:32

Flowers I’m so sorry @unknownscot

Whitestripes007 · 01/02/2021 11:40

@Birdladybird and @unknownscot I’m so sorry to hear your news. I don’t think I can offer anymore than, be kind to yourself and I hope you are both able to have another shot in the future x

Birdladybird · 01/02/2021 11:46

I’m sorry @unknownscot it’s so bloody shit.

I’ve started full on bleeding now. So unless some kind of miracle is about to happen that’s it. I have one frostie but it will be September before I can use that.

kikisparks · 01/02/2021 11:48

Oh I’m so very sorry @unknownscot that’s so hard not to make it to transfer after everything you’ve gone through. Maybe ask if they can put you on a cancellation list if possible to have the review meeting as soon as possible? I had to wait 2.5 months for my review after my failed cycle that ended in a chemical pregnancy but that was NHS, 4 weeks seems a long time to wait at a private clinic Flowers.

MF1981 · 01/02/2021 11:52

I’m so sorry @unknownscot I feel like you’ve been through such an ordeal. Take care of yourself today x

IVFat43 · 01/02/2021 12:04

@unknownscot I’m absolutely gutted for you.. so sorry, that seems such a long wait 😢

@Birdladybird why September, that would send me crazy..

Birdladybird · 01/02/2021 12:11

@IVFat43 timing really. My DSD is getting married and we have to fly to the wedding, plus other things, so we decided that we'd wait. I also think it will do me good to have a break. Its been full on IVF since last October with 2 rounds back to back without much break in the middle. I think a break, then transfer and that will be it. We do have 2 more round if we want them but we had a chat yesterday and i don't think i want to do it again. My DH is 57 and i'm conscious he is getting older, and i don't want him to get to 60 and have a new baby. 57 was always the cut off point when we started in 2016.

IVFat43 · 01/02/2021 12:26

@Birdladybird ah I see, yes life does get in the way.. I have no idea how people do ivf when working..working from home has been great! I’ve managed to attend the clinic when necessary and had the comfort of being at home for the injections and side effects/comfy clothes.. out chances are really low, but would be so nice if it worked first time 🤞

Take some time, sounds like you need it, then at least you still have some reserves even if it is sept xx

Gardenlady543 · 01/02/2021 12:41

So so sorry @unknownscot let yourself grieve and be kind to yourself. Perhaps when you’ve had some time you can do some research into the options, I saw that you were posting in a thread about egg quality and there was some discussion of natural IVF. Perhaps having a few weeks to collect your thoughts and look at the potential plans will be helpful. I went to my follow up with a list of things to discuss and thought it was really helpful to have that time to reflect and be ready for the meeting. I remember it was quite quick for you from the last cycle going into this one, so I hope the time is helpful and that they can discuss some different options with you to move forward.

And @Birdladybird my heart goes out to you too, this happened to me in November, it’s just awful. Please look after yourself, maybe put some really nice plans into place over the next few months before you try again with the frostie Flowers

hopefully21 · 01/02/2021 12:58

@Birdladybird I'm so sorry it didn't work out. It happened me in sept..and in 2016. It's awful. Let yourself grieve and be kind to yourself. It's great that you have a frostie.

@unknownscot I'm so sorry to hear your news. It's so so tough to not make it to transfer. Take some time to be kind to yourself. You've been through so much. If you are going to go again have you considered mini ivf? Seemingly it's less meds to get less eggs but better quality.

@Birdladybird, I'm sorry to hear your news too. Fingers crossed for your frozen embryo. Take care of yourself Daffodil

jonrik · 01/02/2021 13:56

I had my transfer this morning. I had 2 top quality blasts, 1 transferred and 1 for the freezer. Another 3 are at the stage just before blastocyst and they're giving them another day to come on. With a bit of luck we get another few to freeze tomorrow. Well chuffed with this. Thanks for all the positive thoughts everyone!

cher1981 · 01/02/2021 14:11

Gardenlady543 · 01/02/2021 14:13

That’s great news @jonrik congrats on being PUPO! My FET transfer is due on Wednesday and I’m in for a progesterone test first thing tomo as I had issues with it in my fresh cycle.

hopefully21 · 01/02/2021 15:01
