I’m having my FET today, but due to an admin error when they transferred the notes they’d only defrosted 1 instead of the 2 I was supposed to be having, so I’ve disappeared down to Sainsbury’s for a very early lunch while the second one thaws...

I’m having a major wobble.. around 5 week, 4 days pregnant but started with losing brown discharge a couple of days ago. My beta was 3000+ at 19dp5dt which is good but it’s getting heavier, particularly when I wake up on a morning. The nurse said not to worry unless it’s bright red and I have pain but I feel so lost trying to work. I knew it was too good to be true 😭

Sorry to hear that @cher1981, can you get into your nearest EPU for a scan? I always understood brown was ok but red was bad but I know how worried you must be

Sorry @cher1981 hope you’re ok, brown discharge isn’t necessarily a bad sign as Sunbird said but I understand why you’d be worried.

@cher1981 I’m exactly the same and did have some red the other day albeit very briefly. I’m also having cramps most days. My clinic said not to worry unless the cramps became too painful to manage or there is a lot of red blood. They said it could be the pessaries causing some irritation as I take them vaginally. They also said to take another test in a few days if I wanted reassurance because they can’t scan me any sooner than next week as they wouldn’t be able to see what they need to see. I’ll be 6 weeks officially tomorrow.

Thank you everyone. I’m one day behind you @MF1981 and when I rung the clinic they said the same - to worry if it was bright red and cramping, plus having a scan now would be too early. When is your scan? I’ll be honest, I’ve been a blubbering wreck today. I’m trying to be positive but the fear is back 🥺

I have 2 embryos on board, everything crossed at least one of them has the magic... 🤞🤞

Guys, I couldn’t hold out any longer (basically didn’t sleep last night thinking about it) I tested today at 8dp5dt, and have been so lucky this round to get a BFP. DH and I are over the moon. After 2 chemical pregnancies I’m very aware that this might be short lived joy but trying to think positive right now!

@kikisparks it's going ok thank you! I'm getting a bit too hopeful though and need to level that out a bit. I have noticed that my cervix is high and soft so have been Googling that like mad. (I do vaginal progesterone) I've read it's a good thing and then read conflicting things but nothing is as good as a BFP.

@MF1981 I'm ok at the mo but that's classic pregnancy symptoms isn't it, exhaustion! X

Hi @kikisparks I’m doing ok thank you, it’s like Schrodinger’s babies at the mo, knowing there’s definitely 2 embryos but not if they’re implanting or not!

@foodiefil positive is good, I think I always worry I’m setting myself up to fail by being hopeful but at the end of the day it won’t affect the outcome either way. Your cervix being high and soft sounds like a good sign, crossing everything for you! 🤞🤞🤞

@kikisparks that's a really good way to look at it actually - being positive and hopeful doesn't affect the outcome but it does help your mental state through the process. Come on embaby (that's what we say) xx

@Sunbird24 it’s an odd thing being PUPO for sure, hopefully those embryos are finalising their hatching and getting all ready to implant in there!
