Thanks @foodiefil hugs! You’re getting an update today is that right? I have everything crossed for you.

How exciting @kikisparks you’ll be PUPO soon! I hope everything goes well!

foodiefil · 12/02/2021 09:01

Clinic have rang with a day 3 update. This is the first we've had.

They didn't tell us the grading.

Said we have 1 top quality, 1 good quality and 4 "other" that may still turn into blastocysts but they won't know till Sunday,

foodiefil · 12/02/2021 09:01

Thanks for remembering @Gardenlady543 ❤️

foodiefil · 12/02/2021 09:02

@kikisparks yay transfer day! I'm two days behind you ❤️

Gardenlady543 · 12/02/2021 09:07

That’s great @foodiefil I hope you can have some relaxation time ready for Sunday!

kikisparks · 12/02/2021 09:14

Just been told my embryo has survived the thaw 🥳 one more hurdle over. I got a fright when she called me as I didn’t think I’d get an update.

Good luck for your call today @foodiefil!

kikisparks · 12/02/2021 09:15

Sorry missed the update @foodiefil that sounds really good, all still in the running!

Motherofkittens28 · 12/02/2021 09:15

Hi all, did anyone have a baseline down regulation scan with a follicle count that then increased once the simulation started? I've just had my scan and they told me they could see 5 follicles but at my AFC scan in December there were 9. Im really upset at the thought that I now have half as many only 6 weeks later

MF1981 · 12/02/2021 09:24

Good news @foodiefil and good luck today @kikisparks

@Gardenlady543 and @Gensola I’m rooting for you both and keeping everything crossed. I read somewhere that you’re unlikely to get a positive result before day 9 or 10 so there’s still hope for you both. Although I can imagine it’s tough to feel that way right now. Sending hugs

Nichola2310 · 12/02/2021 11:48

@Motherofkittens28

Yes I had an AFC of 22, then on baseline scan day they counted 14, and by the end of stims I had 31.

Motherofkittens28 · 12/02/2021 11:58

Thank you so much @Nichola2310, that really makes me feel better! I've been crying much of the morning worrying that we'd get no embryos from so few follicles. I will try and forget about it now until my next scan on 22nd

kikisparks · 12/02/2021 13:14

Thanks for the luck everyone, that’s me home and PUPO! Transfer was fine but very painful, that’s normal for me though. They even gave me a little picture away of my scan showing where the embryo in the fluid is. Feeling nice and relaxed and positive just now but I’m sure I’ll start getting nervous in a day or 2!

foodiefil · 12/02/2021 14:10

Fantastic @kikisparks
But eek how was it painful? Do they give you anything for it?

Gardenlady543 · 12/02/2021 14:24

@Motherofkittens28 my friend has a low AFC and she’s had follicles develop while she’s been on stimulation. Also sometimes follicles can have more than one egg in. When I was on stims I had 11 follicles noted throughout all my scans but then on the day there were 12. The most important thing is that you look after yourself. Flowers

Congrats on being PUPO @kikisparks sorry to hear it was uncomfortable, I hope you have a nice rest.

I decided after that horrible talk with the doctor yesterday, that isn’t even my doctor, to ask my doctor’s secretary to start the PGT-A process, my consultant replied to say she hopes my test will be positive in 4 days, so I replied to say I have no hope after the other doctor told me it would have implanted by now and today’s test was negative. All she does is tell me to relax and think positive so I think she’ll be a bit annoyed that another doctor has made me feel the opposite. My doctor has said she won’t plan the next protocol until the PGT-A results are back and I’ve emailed to ask if I can still provisionally book a scratch procedure in 21 days from the withdrawal bleed. This will mean I can then go ahead hopefully with euploid embryo transfer after the scratch (I have 7 embryos and I’m 35 so I’d hope there are euploid ones in there) in mid-April, otherwise it will be mid-May which seems so far away.

I would like to consider a ERA as well but I haven’t mentioned this yet, I understand that the window of implantation can be slightly off in 1 in 3 women, meaning the time on progesterone needs to be adjusted. But I guess this could be something to try in the future.

Gardenlady543 · 12/02/2021 14:27

@foodiefil don’t worry, I think @kikisparks was unlucky, for most people it’s just like a smear test. The most uncomfortable part for me was because my bladder was full. My friend is sedated for these because of her anatomy, but most people are fine with them.

kikisparks · 12/02/2021 14:51

@foodiefil it is like a smear test but those are very painful for me, think it’s my endometriosis and apparently I have a “raw” cervix. Think for most people it’s fine, I wouldn’t worry.

However I now have burning when I pee which I didn’t have last time, hope that goes away soon!

foodiefil · 12/02/2021 14:55

Ahh ok @kikisparks hope that goes away and you don't have any more pain.

Thanks @Gardenlady543
I hope the other doc is annoyed with that doctor.

Gardenlady543 · 12/02/2021 15:06

Haha @foodiefil I hope she’s annoyed with the other doctor too lol!!

Sending hugs @kikisparks

jonrik · 12/02/2021 15:14

@Gardenlady543, your experience sounds horrible. I would have that conversation with them as it's not okay. Fingers crossed for you test xx

jonrik · 12/02/2021 15:18

Today is my OTD at 11dp5dt and we're now confirmed pregnant. Yay! Even though I already knew it, it was still something entirely different hearing it 'officially'. My HCG levels came back at 190. The clinic said that was good but didn't give an indication on whether that was on the high or low end of the scale and I was too excited to ask. Those of you that had their OTD and a BFP, what levels did you see?

Thanks!

foodiefil · 12/02/2021 15:27

Congrats @jonrik that's amazing! How do you feel?
Don't know about your hcg levels other than it's the doubling of it that matters? But don't know how you'd test that at home x

MF1981 · 12/02/2021 15:40

Great news @jonrik and @kikisparks!

Gensola · 12/02/2021 15:44

@MF1981 thank you Flowers I feel pretty silly for testing early now! Trying to put it out of my mind until OTD Smile

kikisparks · 12/02/2021 15:50

@jonrik congrats! My clinic doesn’t do a beta they just get you to do an HPT.

MF1981 · 12/02/2021 16:16

@Gensola don’t feel silly - it’s a long time to wait!
