Thanks @Tarsette it’s so hard not to read into everything isn’t it?! I’m tired this afternoon and feel a bit off balance so think I’ll have a nap - the benefits of flexi furlough!

MF1981 · 05/02/2021 13:12

Thanks @jonrik and same to you!

cher1981 · 05/02/2021 13:21

@MF1981 7dp5dt here and feeling.. I’m not sure?! No bleeding, spotting or tender boobage, I just don’t know. It’s hard because I was convinced it’d be negative but now hopes coming, which is lovely, I’m just scared of being disappointed 😞 Sending lots of positive vibes your way x

MF1981 · 05/02/2021 13:32

@cher1981 let’s get on board the positivity train together - I’m a massive believer in the power of positive thinking but need my ass kicking into gear sometimes!

IVFat43 · 05/02/2021 14:03

Oh fab @foodiefil
How are you getting on with your scans so far? Are you getting good results? Any expectations for EC yet? 🤞

foodiefil · 05/02/2021 14:30

@IVFat43 I had my first stims scan yesterday and they've moved my EC forward to Tuesday.
Having another scan tomorrow. I have 18 follicles.

IVFat43 · 05/02/2021 14:39

@foodiefil wow looks like you’re responding well to the stims, I had total 31 follicles Wednesday but she didn’t tell me how many today..said there were more, she just concentrated on the large to mid size follicles, but sounds positive... good luck 🤞

foodiefil · 05/02/2021 14:46

@IVFat43 thank you! good luck to you too

cher1981 · 05/02/2021 16:19

Guys I’ve caved and done a PG test after work. I’m not sure what I can see? I mean.. do you see something?

I can definitely see an extra line @cher1981 looks like a positive to me!! what day post transfer are you now and was it first urine of the day (that’s the best one to use to see the darkest line)

I'm 7dp5dt and did it at 4.01pm.. haha.

Urm I'm going to do another in the morning because after 10 years of trying, I don't think I dare believe it.

RichmondLady1981 · 05/02/2021 16:34

@cher1981 that’s amaZing!!! Congratulations!!! Whoop whoop.

foodiefil · 05/02/2021 16:35

@cher1981
I can see something too! xxx

kikisparks · 05/02/2021 16:55

Congrats @cher1981 that’s an amazing line on a cheapie in the afternoon! So exciting!

IVFat43 · 05/02/2021 17:09

Just received the phone call from the clinic, my bloods were really high and to avoid OHSS and being admitted to hospital they’ve changed my trigger from Gonasi to Suprecur. I now have to collect the new meds (more cost) in the morning and sadly bin the Gonasi, also the Menopur 600 I no longer need or opened 😩 such a waste of money !

However on a huge positive, they said I’ve reacted so well that everyone in clinic have made comment in the afternoon meeting, apparently my results are for someone 10yrs younger so that’s really chirped me up....maybe this could actually work for me 🤞🤞

hopefully21 · 05/02/2021 17:23

@cher1981 huge congrats! After 10 years..wow so well deserved!! Love eaing this Happy news. It really gives everyone hope.

That’s brilliant @IVFat43!

Wow that’s a great line @cher1981!!!

Gardenlady543 · 05/02/2021 17:33

That all sounds great @cher1981 Smile how exciting!

@IVFat43 sounds like you’ve been doing great! Costs can unexpectedly increase in this process can’t they! It happened to me when I had to go onto progesterone injections suddenly. But it sounds like the right thing to do to keep you safe!

cher1981 · 05/02/2021 17:39

Thanks everyone :) I'll let you know how the test goes tomorrow. It feels very strange that something might be happening.

@IVFat43 Ooh thats a compliment and a half, good luck!

kikisparks · 05/02/2021 17:52

@IVFat43 that is a huge positive! What great news, hope you’ll have lots of embryos.

hopefully21 · 05/02/2021 18:05

@IVFat43 fantastic result!!

Thank you so much everyone!
It’s one hurdle overcome, plenty more to go on this emotional journey but I’m definitely chuffed when hearing positive news, feels like one tick off the list..

Looks like some good news popping up, stay positive everyone and good luck for everyone over the weekend on this journey xx

kikisparks · 06/02/2021 07:42

Started the progesterone pessaries today and forgot how much I hated these bloody things last time. All the same, here’s hoping I’ll have reason to be on them for 12 weeks.

foodiefil · 06/02/2021 08:10

@kikisparks 12 weeks ShockConfused What are they like?

Gensola · 06/02/2021 08:16

@foodiefil mine are like those posh nurofen gel pills you get, like a little plastic-y rugby ball shaped squashy pill and they come with a massive plastic applicator which was scary at first but it’s really thin so it’s actually fine. I have to insert three times a day so I’m very glad to be WFH!!
If I get BFP on the 15th I’ll have to insert them for 12 weeks as well as taking 4 x progynova per day.
