Hi Is anyone starting IVF in January/February next year?

We had our first failed IVF cycle in October and looking to go for our second cycle but the way my periods are it falls over xmas when they are shut.

So we are starting in Jan :)

@thirteen92 I was scared for my EC too and told the anaesthetist that I knew it was only sedation but to make sure I didn’t wake up. He said he couldn’t guarantee it but actually I slept through the whole thing and only woke up when they accidentally bashed the bed against the wall taking me into recovery! From what I hear on these forums, the majority of people sleep through it so try not to worry but make them aware of your concerns in clinic on the day.

I'm on day 7 of stims - and the EWCM is in full flow 🤦🏽‍♀️ how did I forget about this from cycle 1 to 2?!

@thirteen92 looks like we're the same timeline so far. My scan is tomorrow 🤞🏼✨ my first cycle took me 13 days of stims

@thirteen92 and @unknownscot, I'm on the same timeline as you guys. I started stims last Wednesday and also have my first scan on Friday. Hoping for a Monday EC.
I'm on 200 Menopur/day.

I've had really bad headache the first couple of days but have been absolutely fine since. How are you guys holding up?

@jonrik yes, I had terrible headaches but seem to be okay now.

@unknownscot I was so surprised the sheer volume of EWCM 😂. I regularly felt as though I needed to change my underwear during the day!

@jonrik ohh maybe I’ll have EC Monday! I’m praying for positive news on Friday 🤞🏻 I’ve been fine during stims. No side effects at all but today I’ve had the worst headache ever. I feel like I’ve got major brain fog and I just want to sleep. How are you feeling?

@thirteen92 @unknownscot and @jonrik I'm on the same time line. I'm on day 8 of stims. 30ul menopur 150ul gonalf and .25 cetrotide. First scan tomorrow. How are you all feeling? The tiredness hit me yesterday. Also I hate mixing cetrotide! I already messed up one vile. Luckily I had another.

Sounds like others are getting side effects from meds too, this is my first FET cycle, I’m on day 7 of estradiol and I feel nauseated continuously. It’s a common side effect from this med but erg is it annoying.

My first scan is Friday with the transfer window starting from a week on Friday, I just want to finish taking this stuff ASAP.

I'm feeling okay - the headaches have gone. I'm not sleeping great at night but don't know if that's related to IVF or not? 🤷🏽‍♀️

Just trying to stay sane with staying at home! My husband is working away just now so doubt he will be back for EC but we're hoping he makes it 🤞🏼✨

@Gardenlady543 hope transfer happens for you soon! I have estradiol here too - I am now very much not looking forward to taking it! 😂

I’ve had my EC today. 9 eggs but only 4 mature enough for IMSI. Will find out from the biologist on Friday morning if we can transfer Friday afternoon 🤞🏻

@unknownscot I hope your husband makes it back. I'm not sleeping well either and en i do I'm having very strange vivid dreams. Egg collection next week. I might find out the date tomorrow at scan. My husband isn't allowed in due to covid.

@hopefully21 @unknownscot I’m sleeping ok but having crazy vivid dreams - wake up feeling tired and like I’ve been running around all night! Glad it’s not just me!
