IVF Dec 2020-Jan 2021-anyone joining me?

Hi,
After 2 years TTC #1 we are now eventually on the IVF bus! Should have started in June but Covid put a stop to that and after lots of back/forth with our NHS clinic we've got our treatment planning appointment on Friday and will be on the long protocol so probably starting mid- end of December!
Would love to have some ladies join me!
I've been creeping on other IVF threads but haven't been able to fully take part.

Lovely ladies, I'm coming off Mumsnet for a while to try and move my focus off TTC. I need to start imagining a life without another baby.

Clinic have told me to continue on current medication at current dose and have booked another scan for Sat morning. So not long for it to improve. So scared it’ll be a cancelled cycle.

So I'm now in the wonderful tww and had a top grade day 2 embryo transfer. So relieved and grateful to even be at this stage!

@starkid how did EC go?

Also my test date seems aaaaggges away on 5th feb? That would be 16 days from EC? Is that right or are my clinic just being conservative?

I got 7 eggs and OH's semen was apparently good ☺️
I vomited up my attempt at eating a McDonald's burger when I got home so that was a bit silly of me haha, and got a very sore vein on one hand where they failed to insert a cannula 😬 bloody hate those things

@Kiza fingers crossed for you!! My test date is 14 days after transfer but can go in Monday for test.

Well I had to take my cat to the vets today because he’s poorly so the bad luck just keeps on coming! Downed a load of pomegranate juice and vitamin e so wish me luck for the scan in the morning!

Hey @Kiza thank you for asking! It was 7.7mm this morning so just waiting for a call from the clinic to confirm transfer day for end of next week. Woohoo!

Hi @Kiza yes I done one this morning on what I thought was a early response one but it was just a normal one and it is dark so going for my blood test on Monday which is my birthday so fingers crossed it’s a good day!

Hi, I has EC on Wednesday passed, 9 follicles 2 eggs, both fertilised, day 3 today and Embriologist called and said 1 is only 3 cells and the other was 5 earlier this morning but turned 6 cells ... has anyone had any success stories from this scenario? 🥚 🥚 🤞🏼🤞🏼

To those who have had egg collections - did you have a lingering pain on/just above the pelvic bone area, like it feels bruised inside? It aches to bend or use that area of my body at the moment :(

@starkid no one prepared me for the level of pain and how long it would last! it took a good week before I felt normal again- sorry to be the bearer of bad news! Lots of rest, lots of fluids and lots of chocolate for you!

@onlyhereforthefood - yeah I've found online talk mostly about bloating or constipation, neither of which I have, and that they felt fine after one day. But the aching pain is just constant! Really hope it dies down by transfer day as right now the ultrasound would be unbearable 😔
