IVF Dec 2020-Jan 2021-anyone joining me?

Hi,
After 2 years TTC #1 we are now eventually on the IVF bus! Should have started in June but Covid put a stop to that and after lots of back/forth with our NHS clinic we've got our treatment planning appointment on Friday and will be on the long protocol so probably starting mid- end of December!
Would love to have some ladies join me!
I've been creeping on other IVF threads but haven't been able to fully take part.

@Sungirl11 - congrats on getting dates through! For me it's just one down-reg injection daily from Thursday until 10th Jan, when add in ovary stims for 10 days, then the ovulation one :)

@Sungirl11 We're doing short protocol so only two daily injections for me, and I don't think we need as many blood tests either bar the standard pre treatment ones!

Started injections yesterday, just Gonal-F until Weds then we start the other one (name evades me). OH doing the injections and has proven to be very gentle so far! xx

@Bells3032 that's annoying! We were JUST in time for Dec cycle but if we hadn't have made it it would have been mid-Jan at least. xx

So we have had an exciting update. My DH got his latest SA though and it's at 3.6million!!!!! we are thrilled. six months ago it was zero and 3 months ago was about 600k so it is a huge jump. it's been six months of daily injections and 18 months so far of treatment. His motility is also brilliant although his normal forms are still low it massively boosts our chances of success.

Hi, so pleased to find this thread and talk to others going through this journey. We are starting our ICSI treatment in Dec I’m on short protocol and have my first injection tomorrow. Pretty nervous but pleased to be moving forward.
We don’t have any children and DH has low count, morph and motility.

@Milly86 i start on 4th January with a pill to begin my bleed. How are you feeling ?

@Freya2015 ah OK is that because your cycles aren’t regular? Mine aren’t always great but luckily this month was OK. I’m OK, nervous as this is our only NHS funded cycle and I have never injected before. Fingers crossed it goes OK and isn’t as bad as I’m imagining!

@Milly86 they are very irregular dont want to chance it. And we are going through NHS aswell i am 24 so she said quite young. I am excited to be able to say i am pregnant

@Freya2015 yes they will tell me when to start taking that depending on scans. Then my trigger is Ovitrelle.

So AF due to today and it's late 🤦🏼‍♀️ for the first time in 2 years I'm super keen for AF to arrive and she's bloody late! I've never been so excited for her arrival! 😆

Mine is all over the place. Due today the last few days had on and off spotting but no flow at all.

Oh wow new people and some of us are getting started already! Welcome everyone! I have our treatment consultation on Thursday to got through everything and order meds, feels so real! We also went to have our bloods on Saturday (lucky as we only confirmed with them Friday) and I hate having bloods so I treated myself to a doughnut after for being brave! Wont be doing that for ivf bloods though so have to toughen up

Day 3 of injections here, stepping up to Fyremadel in the morning as well tomorrow. OH has been doing my injections so far but I need to do this one myself. Ugh.

Got my first monitoring scan on Friday to see how my ovaries are responding.

@onlyhereforthefood good luck with your injection tomorrow. I did my first one today and it wasn’t as bad as I thought once I calmed myself down lol!

I had a fresh cycle in November but got ohss so had to do a freeze all. We’ve got 4 great little embryos in the freezer so planning to start down reg on 20th December and transfer a month or so later towards the end of Jan.
