@UnicornPuff it’s all so confusing isn’t it! My DH was like “I don’t know what we’re hoping for - when you had cramps before transfer they made you worried, but now we want cramps?!” Literally none of this makes sense when I think rationally for a minute 🤣🤣

Hope your headache eases soon. When do you think you’ll test?xx

Rumtopf · 15/09/2020 09:47

Good luck to everyone today!

Symptom spotting is a nightmare, nothing means anything is absolutely right and 9/10 it's the medication. Try not to go too batty about it, plan something distracting or get engrossed in something.

Out of my 5 eggs we've got 3 that fertilised! I'm thrilled. Now to wait for Thursday's update so we know what's going on for a hopeful transfer on Saturday.

HavingFaith · 15/09/2020 09:54

@Rumtopf wonderful news!! Hope you’re recovering well too xx

JandL2020 · 15/09/2020 10:43

Fab news @Rumtopf. The embryologist called this morning our grade D has caught up to grade C so good enough to freeze along with the others which is good news.

In not such good news...looks like I have thrush. Spoke to nurse - said nothing to worry about. It’s really horrible and I’m worried the progesterone won’t be absorbed 😭
Xx

Rumtopf · 15/09/2020 10:52

@JandL2020 brilliant news on the embryo grading, sorry to hear of the thrush, can you take diflucan or will it interfere with all the other meds?

@HavingFaith thank you I'm so pleased. Fingers crossed they carry on doing well. I'm bloated and so sore, last night I felt terrible. Today is a bit better but I'm keeping myself busy pottering in the garden and topping up my paracetamol regularly. Have swapped the stim injections for Lubion and Clexane so the bruising is spectacular. How are you?

JandL2020 · 15/09/2020 11:11

@Rumtopf nurse was a bit vague. She said if it worsens they ask pharmacy for low dose 😔 It’s just annoying as now can’t go out anywhere x

LKSF · 15/09/2020 11:13

Eek I feel anxious and excited for all you girls in the 2WW like it’s myself 😬 sending you all lots of baby dust and positive vibes 🤞🏼💫 xx

AutumnHoping · 15/09/2020 11:24

@Minster2012 that’s so good to know - hopefully I’m the same. Will ask more questions on Friday instead of just saying ‘what will be will be’!

It was a natural pregnancy- couldn’t believe it. 2 years TTC - with not even a hint of pregnancy. One cancelled ivf cycle. One successful cycle. Was due to start FET on that period but the clinic closed for Covid on Day 1 and miraculously I got pregnant- couldn’t believe it. Was too good to be true though it would seem. Had a scan at 7.5 weeks and all was great but wasn’t meant to be.

Fightingtobepositive · 15/09/2020 13:08

That’s great new @Rumtopf good number ☺️

I start the pessaries tomorrow.

Can I ask how everyone felt after egg collection. I’m ok a little sir but the thing I’m worried about is I have that dull kind of cramp my ache as if af is on the way? Is this the norm?

Rumtopf · 15/09/2020 13:14

@Fightingtobepositive that's how I felt last night too. General dull ache like when af is due and my ovaries feel swollen and tender with the occasional stabby pain for good measure. Today the ache is less but if I bend over or sit too quickly and squish my tummy then it hurts. Did it go well for you?

@jandl2020 if it's bad enough to stop you from going out then surely it's bad enough to take medicine? You poor thing.

LKSF · 15/09/2020 13:18

@Fightingtobepositive that’s completely normal Hun, I was the same for a good three days, take it easy 😊

@Rumtopf @JandL2020 great news about the embryos 👏🏼

I have my scan on the 25th, fingers crossed my linings thick enough and then transfer will be 5days after!!! Eek

Eggling · 15/09/2020 14:15

Fab news on your fertilised eggs @Rumtopf!

Sorry to hear about the thrush @JandL2020 , it's the worst.

I've had my call and transfer is at 1 pm tomorrow! It's completely surreal, such a long road to get here and I still can't believe it's actually happening 😂 have cleaned the whole house today (to impress the embryo? No idea why!) and have acupuncture tonight. Excited and terrified in equal parts to join everyone whose in the tww!

KassT · 15/09/2020 14:23

@Eggling you are too funny 😂 I hope your embryo is impressed! That explain why I'm still not pregnant, our house is too messy 😂 Good luck tomorrow!

LKSF · 15/09/2020 14:45

@Eggling how exciting 😍 haha hope the clean house impresses 😂😂 although having a clean house always makes you feel more relaxed and at-least you won’t need to do any in your 2WW!

Fightingtobepositive · 15/09/2020 14:50

@Rumtopf glad it’s a little better today for you. Hopefully you’ll be brand new by tomoz. It went really fast actually. Not at all as bad as I was expecting 🤞🤞🤞. How are you feeling mentally?

@LKSF thank you I am such a worrier. I always have a billion questions. I ask the clinic so many but always forget the main ones! good luck for the 25th I have my fingers crossed for that lining!

Ok so another of my billion questions... not sure if anyone can help. So I’ve had the date I need to take a test, but not had the transfer yet? 🤞🤞🤞
Is that the norm? It’s not until the 5th of Oct so does that mean they won’t be thinking to transfer till Friday? I’m confused?

Also would the tww start from egg collection or transfer or a different date? My brain is like mush! Maybe it’s the meds 😳

Fightingtobepositive · 15/09/2020 14:52

Good luck tomorrow @Eggling very exciting 😬

Loving the clean house theory ☺️

LKSF · 15/09/2020 15:46

@Fightingtobepositive don’t worry I’m such a worrier too 😅

I think the schedule they send only has rough dates on at the start! My test date is 29th October On my schedule and I’m only on cycle day 3!
The nurse said when I go in for my scan on 25th all being well transfer will be 5days after! And then testing would be 11days after that which would be like the 11th Oct! So a couple weeks earlier than what it says on the schedule!

poupou · 15/09/2020 16:36

I hope you are all well! Best of luck for tmr @Eggling! And the clean house routine its asomething that i would have also done as would make me calmer!
I have a quick question as i am stressing about lining! Any of you had any discharge during progynova? Instart having some bur not sure if this is ok!
I am also on buseralin 0.2 ml but i am stressing! Still dont have major effects apart from headache and a bit foggy and a bit bloated!

UncleBrynsfishingtrip · 15/09/2020 16:43

Hi @poupou I had no side effects on Buserelin too. Discharge is fine and normal on prognova too.
Your lining will be fine and thickening nicely without you even knowing. Drinking lots of water is good. If it’s not quite thick enough they’ll just up your meds a bit xx

poupou · 15/09/2020 16:47

@UncleBrynsfishingtrip thank youuu! I seem to be stressing about everything! And work today was hell so kept me occupied and managed to not cry! So proud of me!

UncleBrynsfishingtrip · 15/09/2020 16:57

@poupou
Stressing is allowed and totally necessary at times!!!! You are doing just great 😁

HavingFaith · 15/09/2020 17:04

@Eggling good luck for tomorrow!!

@Minster2012 hope your scan goes well tomorrow!

@poupou I had discharge when I was at the same point as you - clinic said it was totally normal.

This increased dose of progesterone is knocking me out! I’ve already had a two hour nap today and honestly feel like I could go back to sleep 😅

poupou · 15/09/2020 17:10

@UncleBrynsfishingtrip @HavingFaith ! that is reassuring thanks! Stressing is normality by now! Haha!

Ohhh so sorry for feeling so tired! @HavingFaith! Sleeping is a great distraction though!

monsterad · 15/09/2020 17:11

All very real now. Just had a call from my pharmacy and a huge consignment of drugs is going to arrive on Friday. Eye watering at £1500 Shock

Suddenly very nervous about all the needles. But I will get through it, I always seem to in the end.

Good luck to everyone xxx

thefishthatcouldwish · 15/09/2020 17:22

Hi all. I will try and catch up but hard as I have a cracked phone screen.

Had a very busy day in work. We started our Forest School this morning as my assessor is in next week. Honestly seeing young children use tools ( in a safe and controlled way) and the awe and wonder they have when they manage to saw a piece of wood is amazing.

Feeling a bit les down but the progesterone is making me very hungry all the time. It has also affected my sleep in a bad way.
