18 wow! No wonder your feeling so uncomfortable. A stitch combined with period pains is exactly what I’m feeling haha and chuck in some sore boobs as well 😂 exercise is usually how I deal with periods pains so I’m hoping it will take my mind of this for an hour. Yes, I definitely agree, Wednesday is no day for public transport, treat yourself to an Uber x

AutumnHoping · 14/09/2020 18:35

@JenniferRo28 that’s great news! Happy triggering later - and at least it’s at a good time too - not too late.

@JandL2020 - I had similar last time at transfer too. I can’t remember but it was I’d the oath for transferring wasn’t as it should - like a bend or something. So he had to use ultrasound too to guide him in. I thought the same but typically afterwards so never got to ask of it was a possibility!

thefishthatcouldwish · 14/09/2020 18:45

@JenniferRo28 glad scan went well. Good luck with trigger.

I am 4 days post three day transfer have just been to the wiped and had a few spots of blood on the tissue.

I’m panicking beyond. Scared to tell DH

UnicornPuff · 14/09/2020 18:59

@thefishthatcouldwish I wouldn't worry too much. It could be a good sign and implantation. If you are worried call the clinic in the morning but with your timeline I would be happy with a little spotting.

@ivfjourney5 thats amazing news! Come on AF!

Wow it has been a busy Monday! Good luck everyone!

Rumtopf · 14/09/2020 19:28

@thefishthatcouldwish it sounds like the right timing for implantation so could be a good sign and not the bad one you're fearing. Try not to be too concerned.

Rumtopf · 14/09/2020 19:33

@zebra80 how did your EC go today?

Minster2012 · 14/09/2020 19:48

Hey looks like good news for those with egg collection today! Fantastic! And honestly @AutumnHoping please try not to fret, our clinic looks for linings of over 7mm & mine wasn't over that last time so was postponed by a week yet I got a BFP (albeit ended in miscarriage later on), our first transfer nearly 3 years ago was also postponed due lining issues & that embryo is our VERY LOUD 2 year old now 😂🤣

@thefishthatcouldwish definitely could be implantation don't be scared 🤞🏻🤞🏻🥰😘

AutumnHoping · 14/09/2020 19:52

@thefishthatcouldwish it’s hopefully nothing to be concerned about - the timing as others say would more so point to implantation other than anything negative - so fingers crossed it’s a good sign!

Thanks @Minster2012 - what day did you have transfer on? With my fresh cycles I ended up stimming longer than the norm - maybe up to the max of 16 days - not sure when the window even is for FET

Fightingtobepositive · 14/09/2020 20:25

That is sounding positive @thefishthatcouldwish ☺️

Wow lots going on this week. Good luck to everyone with collections and ladies who are getting ready to test. I’m excited to hear from everyone.

I have egg collection tomorrow. Had my trigger last night. A little paranoid because I seemed to feel less heavy throughout the day today but after getting out of my shower I have just had awful stabbing pains go through my lower belly and the bloat is unreal. Anyone else have any symptoms day after trigger?

Lemongrass1 · 14/09/2020 20:29

Congrats to everyone who had EC and transfers today!

@ivfjourney5 great news you can start again so soon and have a plan set up to tackle the lining

@JenniferRo28 @ChicaXS great news you are ready for trigger! Good luck on Weds 😄

@Fightingtobepositive good luck for tomorrow! It’s been a while since I did a stim cycle but I do remember being pretty bloated and uncomfortable before EC. X

Thank you for replying @Lemongrass1.

Do you mind me asking what kind of treatment you are having?

Lemongrass1 · 14/09/2020 20:44

@Fightingtobepositive I’m having a medicated FET with transfer on Fri. X

Fightingtobepositive · 14/09/2020 21:00

@Lemongrass1 not to long for you then. Good luck ☺️

Minster2012 · 14/09/2020 21:11

@AutumnHoping I had our FET after 3 weeks of estrogen for both it took an extra week of tablets for us, the first time we had an FET to my best friend as a surrogate (who had had no problems getting pregnant with her 2 kids v quickly so it happens to others too!) and that resulted in our son, & in feb FET to me also put back a week which we got BFP but I had to have a medicated miscarriage at 7.5 weeks so don't fret xxx

AutumnHoping · 14/09/2020 21:21

Thanks @Minster2012 that’s good to know - I thought there was a shorter period of time it could all happen and you could take the meds for. I’m sorry to hear about your miscarriage. That’s not easy. I had one in June at 11 weeks. Hoping this is our time!

Minster2012 · 14/09/2020 22:49

It's quite possible for a shorter time, @AutumnHoping that's just the protocols we've been on 🤷‍♀️I'm only on estrogen as tablets currently nothing else, so I had AF then 2 weeks of tablets then will be scan then another week of increased tablets & progesterone pessaries then transfer, I don't think our clinic offer shorter than that, that's their shortest protocol for FET from AF to transfer about 3 weeks as they like to closely manage but ours were both 4 weeks or mine last time was 4.5 weeks I think.
Sorry for your loss, was that IVF too?

Minster2012 · 14/09/2020 22:50

Actually @AutumnHoping it will be day 12 of the estrogen to the scan so is that the same time as you?

thefishthatcouldwish · 15/09/2020 05:00

@Fightingtobepositive good luck for today.

Thanks all for your kind words. Not sure I’m coping too well with this TWW.

UncleBrynsfishingtrip · 15/09/2020 06:14

Morning @thefishthatcouldwish
It’s hard to know what to do for the best during the TWW.
Have you got anything to distract you?

Things I’ve found help me are:
Phoning a friend for a good catch up
Going for a long walk everyday
Being busy!
Telling one person so that you have someone to off load chat/cry with
Hiding my phone so that I don’t keep frantically checking websites/symptoms!!

Hope you are ok and manage to find some distractions today 💗😁 xx

UnicornPuff · 15/09/2020 07:08

@Alexm06 good luck today!

@Fightingtobepositive good luck with EC today. It is completely normal to feel uncomfortable after trigger. If you think about it the trigger is forcing those multiple eggs to mature ready for today! There is a lot going on in your ovaries right now!

@thefishthatcouldwish I am sorry you are worrying. @UncleBrynsfishingtrip is right distraction is key! My first TWW i was on annual leave for the first week and drove myself and husband insane! My second week back at work and it forces distraction on you! This time I have just been working which limits the amount of time I can obsess! I also have my internal mantra of 'its the progesterone'!

Fightingtobepositive · 15/09/2020 08:15

Thank you so much ladies. I’m bloody petrified!

Good luck to anyone else visiting their clinic today too 💜

Alexm06 · 15/09/2020 08:26

@UnicornPuff Thank you! It’s starting to kick in a bit now so getting nervous

HavingFaith · 15/09/2020 08:27

Good luck @Alexm06 and @Fightingtobepositive hope everything goes well today!

And good luck to everyone with appts today!

How is everyone feeling today? I seem to only get cramping on one side in the evening. In the daytime I feel completely 100% normal without a single symptom! I’m 4dp5dt and trying not to go insane! 😅

UnicornPuff · 15/09/2020 09:10

@HavingFaith I am now 8dp5dt and massively impatient! I started with cramps and sore nipples and now have neither. And have woken up with a horrible headache which is just making me grumpy! I am having occasional twinges but the cyclogest is making me constipated so more likely to be linked to that! This whole process is horrible! And nothing means anything!
