@AutumnHoping i am sorry that you didnt have better news. How much was your lining and how much did it increase? I think with the increase in dosing it will get to the thickness that it needs by Friday. Some suggestions that i got are (not sure whether it actually helps or not) increasing the blood flow with stretching exercises and glute bridges. And also pop your legs up the wall for around 10 min.
@HavingFaith its good that your clinic tests for progesterone. If its low they will increase the dose and as its an injection the effect will be immediate. But try not to worry as you are already on two different methods of progesterone and you will be well covered.

@AutumnHoping oh I’m sorry the lining isn’t there yet but I hope the higher dose does the trick and you have a few days for it to take effect so 🤞. I drank pom juice and Brazil nuts. I don’t think there’s evidence behind this but seeing as I like both I thought I might as well try it. X

@HavingFaith try not to worry, you are already on pessaries and lubion so it will probably be fine. Even if a bit low then they can supplement it further. Our clinic don’t routinely test progesterone pre transfer at all. X

@AutumnHoping hopefully the increased dose will help. There's so many hurdles aren't there. Like @Lemongrass1 I'm having Pom juice and Brazil nuts, no idea if it actually does anything.

I'm gearing up for transfer on Wednesday, will find out the time tomorrow. Today is day 4 of progesterone, no side effects yet really except I keep waking up really early in the morning and unable to get back to sleep.

@Lemongrass1 I read that as porn juice with my bad morning eyes!

@Unicornpuff OTD is saturday. If my period hasn't arrived yet I think I will test on Thursday. I have a big project due at work this week and I want to get that out of the way first. It will encourage me to crack on with it. My boyfriend is encouraging me to test. I think he's surprised I haven't just done it everyday (I don't think he realises how expensive those FRERs are!).

Feel a bit silly but I still don’t know exactly what FRERs are???? My clinic just said to use a big standard supermarket test (although not a digital one) xx

@HavingFaith at least they’re testing so can keep an eye on levels but hopefully there’s nothing to worry about!

@poupou I don’t even know - thin enough that there was no questioning that I wasn’t ready - didn’t even need to measure - just initially said ‘oh’ in a tone you know that isn’t good lol thanks for the suggestions - will give them a go. Without trying to be a negative nelly - I’m not holding out much hope that an extra 2mg for 4 days will make a diff when the meds haven’t done anything the past 12 days - but I’ll try what I can anyway!

@Eggling thank you! Aw I know - not as simple as it looks from the outside! Oh that’s exciting - only two more sleeps! I don’t think I had any issues on progesterone before so hopefully it continues - well apart from the wakening early!

@Evey43 first response early result, they are the most sensitive so will pick up a positive earlier than other tests

@AutumnHoping sorry to hear your scan wasn't as expected, it's so frustrating isn't it. Hopefully they've caught it in time and the extra will help. What day of progynova are you on today? x

Not holding out much hope. I think the clinic will use this as a trial run to see what dose I need to be on or if something different. But very annoying and frustrating.

What time is your appointment?

@Evey43 it is a brand of pregnancy test. The early response ones are really sensitive I think 10mIU/ml vs the normal 25 and are pink dye so easy to read. @AutumnHoping my first scan wasn't until day 15 of progynova, so they've picked yours up a bit earlier, hopefully that makes all the difference 🤞🏼🤞🏼 I know mine wasn't good news, but I have heard other stories where an increased dose has done wonders, so there is definitely chance! My appointments at 11, I've got a list of questions for the consultant

@ivfjourney5 flip I thought mine was a late first scan. I’m retrospectively annoyed it wasn’t sooner but nothing can be done now.

@AutumnHoping! That is not the bedside manner that you would expect especially from doctors that deal with this sensitive matter! I am so sorry that they werent more sensitive to how they approach it. But honestly dont give up as they wouldnt increase the dose if they didnt believe that its possible! There also pessaries with oestrogen that might do the same job. If your lining was borderline or closer to 6 it can definitely increase to 8 in 4 days with an increase in dose. I am pissed with the clinics as they usually follow one approach to all as oestrogen dose same for all. However some women might need higher dose and they could have given that to start with! Dont give up and i am routing for you!

@poupou I know. Awk to be honest I don’t think he meant anything - but I could tell straightaway things weren’t how they should be. And I guess they are trying to be positive and didn’t suggest it wouldn’t work (which is nice) but inwouod rather be realistic. Obviously it might - and hopefully this increase helps. Before I went in I was thinking I must ask how thick the lining is and what it needs to get to. I didn’t even forget - I just thought that it kinda doesn’t matter - I’m not ready. I’m slow to respond so unlikely to follow the ‘usual pattern of increase’ and Friday will tell. But of course I will over analyse everything and wonder from now to then 🤣

Good morning! So my follicles took a steroid turn over the weekend after being super slow and my egg collection is now Wednesday! It’s great news but boy for my first IVF cycle it’s been ups and downs, one minute We May cancelling the cycle, the next I’m bringing the EC forward haha! It’s a little annoying as my DH sperm collection maybe crap quality as it will be to 5 days as if we BD today the sperm maybe too premature for Wednesday. Oh well!

For some reason I’m super nervous about the EC I’m sure it will be ok but feel a little scared going on sedation!

Yeyyy I'm so happy, I can start again as soon as I bleed. If it's in the next couple of days I could even sneak transfer in the last couple of days of Sept of my lining plays ball

I’ve just heard from my clinic, my progesterone was a little low on the day of transfer so they’ve told me to up my cyclogest to three times a day and keep the Lubion at twice a day. I’m 3dp5dt so I’m hoping it’s not too late to try and increase my progesterone. I’m back in on Friday for another blood test to see if the increased cyclogest is working. Feeling a little sad that because my transfer was on a Friday it took till today to get the results - but also feeling grateful that they did the test so I have an opportunity to try and save this embryo! I’ve had a cry and now trying to be positive xx

@HavingFaith so annoying they seem to take the weekend off for something’s - but at least it was caught and they are proactively doing something - I think others have said they haven’t been tested before so good you were! Fingers crossed it helps and sticks

@ChicaXS how exciting!! 5 days for your DH will be absolutely fine, they say anywhere between 2-7 days I think.

@HavingFaith no buserelin this time, so I'll have natural oestrogen in addition to the progynova, hopefully that does that trick. And all my natural supplements from the start 🤞🏼🤞🏼 Sorry to hear your levels are on the lower side but it's good that they've caught it and can increase now. Fingers crossed Fridays results show they are at the right level

@AutumnHoping ! I feel you completely and understand you so so much. As a medic i am over analysing everything but at the same time when i am there i seem to forget the majority of things that i want to ask and do! Its the worse feeling to be the one getting treatment as its very emotional!
Lining should be above 8 mm but if its over 7 they can also probably go ahead. So you have got time! And endometrium grows around 1 mm per day! You have another 4 to 5 days. Fingers crossed it will reach the target thickness!
