Oct/Nov IVF, ICSI & FET - Let's do this!

Hi all

I recently had a mmc from my first IVF cycle and am waiting for AF to appear (probably 3-4 weeks away) so we can do FET. I think we'll probably go for a natural cycle but am waiting for some information from my clinic to make a final decision. Had follow up consultation yesterday and will be having nurse consultation in the next couple of weeks hopefully. If anyone is happy to share their FET experiences I'd love to hear them. A little worried that a natural cycle might be the wrong choice. Anyway, if anyone fancies joining me for some support then join the thread.

What did people do after transfer if you don't mind me asking? X

Oh my god my hormonal brain completely forgot this app existed 😂 since my last post I had egg collection they managed to get 15 eggs but of them only 5 fertilised without abnormalities but we managed to get 3 blastocysts of really good quality 😁 I now have 1 on board and 2 in the freezer. The wait is killing me and I'm only on 4dp5dt 🙈 now to catch up on whats been happening with you ladies 👍

Unfortunately I'm on a PCOS friendly diet so no McDonalds for me. I had a cheeseburger the day before transfer though, it tasted gooood!

I'm really not feeling too positive, I can't see how this will work out. I wish I felt someting or anything I thought I felt I don't anymore. I keep thinking about the scan and seeing nothing.

@Christabelle89 good luck in the 2WW, you'll get through it.

It's so hard isn't it @LillyLeaf, I feel slightly more positive now I have some nausea but still worried about Friday, either that there'll be no heartbeat or it'll be ectopic. Nothing we can do but wait it out I guess. Did you do a Clearblue digi in the end?

Right that's me all caught up again. This thread is an emotional roller-coaster. 😂 Congratulations to the ladies that got their BFP 😁 My OTD is 4th Dec and I presumed I'd go in for bloods but when I had transfer they just gave me a urine test to do at home 🤷‍♀️ I think we're playing quite a dangerous game though because we're both very positive thinkers we've already convinced ourselves it's going to work out 🤔 I know if we end up getting a BFN it's going to hurt even more but we just can't help being positive and becoming attached to our little embryo 🙈 We've even being talking to it.

@Roobles79 Good Luck with transfer. We stopped at McDonald's on the way home for some fries then I got cosy on the sofa and watched movies 😊🍟

It was fine like you said! ❤️ It's the holding on to the wee that's the hardest! Got one on board now. A top quality embryo and the other one made it too and has been frozen yay! The one that has gone in is a 5AA and the frozen one is a 5AB. Just heading home now. I will be joining you ladies in the tww! Netflix here I come. Thank you for all your messages, really appreciate, its so great to have something like this forum, feel so supported xx

Fantastic news @Roobles79! Great to have a back up embryo in the freezer too. Now breathe and relax for as long as possible before thinking about testing.

My clinic just rang with the results of my blood test - the hCG has more than doubled so they're really pleased with that. Intralipids tomorrow morning. I just really hope this one sticks around.

I feel fine thanks! went to work today but have booked tomorrow and Wednesday off to catch up on Netflix when DC goes to school 🤣 - last BFP which ended in an ectopic was at 4dp5dt so I'll probably test then

Hello all. Sorry I've been quiet since my bfp but I've had awful sickness like last time.

I had some spotting on Friday so had a scan this morning which was all fine, saw the heartbeat. Just had a massive gush of bright red blood and they won't rescan for a week so I'm back in limbo but not feeling very positive. I have my clinic scan on Thursday anyway. I'm so sad. I just can't see this working out now.

@justtheonethen try not to panic, easier said than done I know. I had a huge gush of bright red blood in my second pregnancy and was convinced I'd lost another baby. Turned out to be a haematoma in my uterus (like a bruise) and everything was fine. That pregnancy resulted in my very sassy 3 yo dd

@Marmite83 I've just had another huge gush and a clot so I don't think it's going to be good news

Been examined, lots more bleeding and clots and they will scan on Thursday so I'm no closer to knowing anything, although I feel like this much bleeding can't be leading anywhere good.
