Hi all

I recently had a mmc from my first IVF cycle and am waiting for AF to appear (probably 3-4 weeks away) so we can do FET. I think we'll probably go for a natural cycle but am waiting for some information from my clinic to make a final decision. Had follow up consultation yesterday and will be having nurse consultation in the next couple of weeks hopefully. If anyone is happy to share their FET experiences I'd love to hear them. A little worried that a natural cycle might be the wrong choice. Anyway, if anyone fancies joining me for some support then join the thread.

Congratulations @justtheonethen ! These are strong lines. And totally, yes about Asda. I am doing exactly the same (if the test tomorrow gives green light that is)

Marmite83 · 11/11/2019 11:14

Congratulations @justtheonethen, lovely strong lines!

Fantastic news @BettySwoll0cks, most clinics include a years storage in their packages I think but maybe different at yours.

Thanks for the good luck wishes everyone, just sitting at the clinic waiting for my blood test. The hpt was still positive this morning, it looked a bit stronger to me but could be wishful thinking, really hope I don't have to wait too long for a phonecall this afternoon.

Hope you're hanging in there ok @sometimesalways

@Marmite83 everything crossed....hope they don't keep you waiting too long!

@BettySwoll0cks brilliant news, I hope you start to feel better soon.

sometimesalways · 11/11/2019 11:36

@Marmite83 good luck!!

Russkispy · 11/11/2019 11:47

@Marmite83 good luck!

Russkispy · 11/11/2019 15:29

For those who had a transfer, what drugs have you been given in your tww and if/when you got a BFP, what drugs were you having to support the pregnancy.

I appreciate we're all different but just gathering info so I can check with my clinic. To throw new ideas at them.

justtheonethen · 11/11/2019 15:44

@Russkispy for my FET I have had 2mg of progynova 3x a day and lutigest pessaries 3x a day. I had them in tww and will continue them to 12 weeks.

mincedpea · 11/11/2019 16:06

@Russkispy I'm on my first FET after a freeze-all. For lining support I'm on 200mg Utrogestan pessaries twice a day. Depending on whether we get a BFP or not, this will continue through the first 12 weeks. The docs may change or increase meds if the this FET is unsuccessful.

sometimesalways · 11/11/2019 16:19

This is my second FET. I am on inhixa blood thinners, lubion and cyclogest for progesterone support.
And well I got a bfp, no matter what happens next. It's 'natural' cycle.

For my first failed one I was on inhixa, lubion, lentogest, progynnova, utrogestan and crinone I think. But it was a fully medicated one with downreg and everything.

My fresh cycle was quite similar to my current one actually

itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted · 11/11/2019 18:00

Non medicated FET - 2x5mg prednisolone, 400x 3 times a day cyclogest and Inhixia daily

Prednisolone from cycle day 1 and the others from ovulation day

Marmite83 · 11/11/2019 18:22

@Russkispy, I did a natural cycle. Crinone twice a day and two Gonasi 1500 shots, one the day before transfer and one two days after. And I've just found out it worked and I'm pregnant Grin so relieved (if a little apprehensive)

Just had my fourth FET this afternoon.

This time I've been on oestrogen patches and 4mg of progynova twice a day (I have problems absorbing oestrogen). Pred 10mg from Day 5, then 2x cyclogest pessaries a day from Day 15. Today I've had to increase pred to 20mg a day, calcium twice a day, and clexane. Also intralipids in the first few days of a cycle, then two weeks later (which for me was this morning).

Oh, and 75mg aspirin in the evening until the day before transfer.

ginandtonicformeplease · 11/11/2019 18:32

I meant to say, the progynova is internally, not by mouth - but strange but it seems to be working!

LillyLeaf · 11/11/2019 19:10

Wow what a day. Congratulations @justtheonethen and @Marmite83.

@BettySwoll0cks fantastic news about your frozen embies, let's hope a FET won't be too away.

@Russkispy I'm on.... lubion and Crinone for progesterone, then evorel patches for estrogen, then Inhixa blood thinner and Prednisolone steroids (I think that's it). Oh and intralipids.

I forgot about all the googling I do in the 2ww. I think I've read every single old thread about 3dp5dt, I hate it when they don't update with the results.

justtheonethen · 11/11/2019 19:23

Congratulations @Marmite83 that's fabulous news Smile

BettySwoll0cks · 11/11/2019 19:35

Yesssss @Marmite83 Thanks

mincedpea · 11/11/2019 19:49

Brilliant news @Marmite83! I knew those tests were positive all along 😀! Hope you're feeling relaxed and happy, not too apprehensive. Enjoy it!

mincedpea · 11/11/2019 19:51

@ginandtonicformeplease Well done on the FET, fingers crossed it's the one for you and you get your BFP. Welcome to the 2ww, it's driving me mad too @LillyLeaf!

sometimesalways · 11/11/2019 20:48

@Marmite83 congratulations! That's a fabulous news. I remember we were both a little concerned about natural cycles in the beginning but it's not going so bad is it Grin

My lingo being what it is of course, but whatever happens, I did get a bfp and would be tempted to try again same if needed.

Have you booked your next scan?

sometimesalways · 11/11/2019 20:49

Hope the 2ww goes quickly for you @ginandtonicformeplease good luck!

Roobles79 · 11/11/2019 21:19

Congratulations to the bfp's this is great news! 👏 Keep them coming!I've got a scan on Wednesday and hopefully egg retrieval weds 20th eek! I feel OK so far, getting fed up of the jabs. Last few ones of the stims have hurt and bruised 🙁. We went away this weekend and I took the drugs with me, didn't need a cool bag in the end as it was so cold! XXX

Russkispy · 12/11/2019 07:48

I appreciate all your inputs which I've now put a list of meds and I was taking pretty much the same but administered them mostly orally.
Spoke with my coordinator last night about various tests and drugs before and after transfer etc more likely to start in the new year

Jem01 · 12/11/2019 12:00

Congrats @Marmite83 and to any bfp I have missed so far.

And thank you for the warm welcome.

Is anyone’s clinic closing in December?

lucyinthe · 12/11/2019 12:13

Big congrats to the bfps!! Hopefully there's many more to come 🤞🏼
@Roobles79 glad you got away for the weekend, you're just over a week ahead of me jabs are hurting me too, my stomach looks awful with all the bruises! Good luck at the scan tomorrow x

Decided not to drink at the party on Saturday, just going to have lime and sodas and pretend there's vodka in it if anyone asks!

LillyLeaf · 12/11/2019 13:39

@mincedpea how are you doing today? When will you test?
