Hi all

I recently had a mmc from my first IVF cycle and am waiting for AF to appear (probably 3-4 weeks away) so we can do FET. I think we'll probably go for a natural cycle but am waiting for some information from my clinic to make a final decision. Had follow up consultation yesterday and will be having nurse consultation in the next couple of weeks hopefully. If anyone is happy to share their FET experiences I'd love to hear them. A little worried that a natural cycle might be the wrong choice. Anyway, if anyone fancies joining me for some support then join the thread.

@Russkispy So sorry to hear how stressful everything has been, it's really tough to have all of that to deal with and unexplained fertility is so frustrating. Sending you positive thoughts, be kind to yourself and take care.

mincedpea · 05/11/2019 18:14

@justtheonethen Great news, congratulations! How long before OTD? Hope you're feeling OK.

Good luck for tomorrow @BettySwoll0cks 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾

justtheonethen · 05/11/2019 18:31

@mincedpea OTD is Monday so will be testing daily hourly until then Grin

updownleftrightstart · 05/11/2019 18:58

@justtheonethen that amazing! Congratulations and fingers crossed for a sticky one.
@sometimesalways I really hope it's a positive for you tomorrow. You've done good waiting until almost otd given how bad some of us are at waiting!
@BettySwoll0cks hope everything goes well for you tomorrow as well

mincedpea · 05/11/2019 18:58

@justtheonethen 😂😂😂 Looking forward to the hourly updates! I hadn't planned to test at all until OTD but now I know you can get a BFP as early as 5 days post transfer, it's going to be hard to resist!

sometimesalways · 06/11/2019 07:07

Omg it's positive! Fainter than the other line but positive. I find it so hard to believe... both DH and I are happy but both so so worried still. My autoimmune thing makes me more prone to miscarriage so I don't think we will feel entirely calm for a while now.. but it's a step in the right direction Smile

justtheonethen · 06/11/2019 07:15

@sometimesalways that's a blazing positive, congratulations! I can see why you would worry but wishing you an uneventful 8 months Thanks

Russkispy · 06/11/2019 07:33

@justtheonethen tentative congratulations! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@BettySwoll0cks good luck today!

@sometimesalways congratulations! You did it! Hope it goes well for the next 8 months!

Will be thinking of you all! And baby dust to all who's still going through them process

AFM, heading for HCG repeat shortly. But resigned to bad outcome. Will keep you posted x

sometimesalways · 06/11/2019 07:54

Thank you ladies!

@Russkispy good luck, let us know how it goes. I would also be very cautious in your position, but remember, things are not final yet. Let's see what the new bloods and scans say. We will be thinking of you!

updownleftrightstart · 06/11/2019 08:06

Yay!!! @sometimesalways. I had a feeling it would be another positive on here.

LillyLeaf · 06/11/2019 08:13

@sometimesalways that's fantastic news, I understand the nervousness but one day at a time.

@Russkispy thinking of you, this is so hard.

I had a crap sleep last night. It's either the progesterone or nerves for my transfer on Friday (also work is mental at the moment and really not helping me to remain calm).

Marmite83 · 06/11/2019 08:53

@sometimesalways, congratulations!! That's a lovely strong positive Smile

Good luck for today @Russkispy, we're here whatever happens.

Wonderful news @sometimesalways - congratulations!

Thinking of you today @russkispy

@lillyleaf aargh - crap sleep is crap. Are you on steroids too? I always find that ruins my sleeping.

LillyLeaf · 06/11/2019 09:39

@orangefolly yes I'm on steroids too, I hadn't thought about them being the issue. I just feel wiped out today. I think I need some time off work.

Roobles79 · 06/11/2019 09:44

congratulations @sometimesalways sorry to hear @russkispy look after yourself and lots of tlc ❤️ thinking of you.

So I just had my baseline scan and been given the next lot of drugs. The lady said my amh is 6.0 no idea what that means, she just said its OK for my age (36). The powder and water combo for the next lot of drugs seems like fun. Do people inject this the same time as the buserelin? I've been doing it at 6pm everyday. Have a good day everyone xx

BettySwoll0cks · 06/11/2019 12:06

20 eggs 😊

Russkispy · 06/11/2019 12:17

@BettySwoll0cks fantastic news!

Russkispy · 06/11/2019 12:20

HCG dropped to 37 now. Game over as suspected. Waiting to hear from the clinic about next steps etc. next transfer is likely in January
I'll be in the background following your journey! Baby dust to you all!

justtheonethen · 06/11/2019 12:40

@BettySwoll0cks wowsers!

justtheonethen · 06/11/2019 12:41

@Russkispy I'm so sorry Thanks

sometimesalways · 06/11/2019 13:04

@BettySwoll0cks oh that's an amazing number, well done!

@Roobles79 I inject lubion and inhixa roughly same time, my clinic was v relaxed about it as they don't affect each other apparently. Which med is the powder one? I think if injecting close together was an issue the nurse would have flagged it

@Russkispy I am so so sorry to hear this. Please take some time to process and do what you need to feel better x

@LillyLeaf sorry to hear about your insomnia! If you have time left to take off from work and can do, then I'd take it. Ivf is exhausting on so many levels.

Russkispy · 06/11/2019 13:56

@sometimesalways thank you! Just taking it easy! It's crappy time before Christmas but will be happy to see the back of this year!

@justtheonethen thank you!

mincedpea · 06/11/2019 14:56

Really sorry to hear that @Russkispy, it's such a hard time. I hope you're taking it easy now and getting your head together for next time around. Take care of yourself.

mincedpea · 06/11/2019 15:03

@sometimesalways Congratulations, that's a lovely line! I'm sure you're feeling nervy, totally understandable, but you've the got the positive now so at least one hurdle has been cleared. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

@BettySwoll0cks 20 eggs, wowzers, well done you! Are they calling you tomorrow with updates and stuff?

@LillyLeaf Sorry to hear you're sleeping badly, I think it could be the steriods/progesterone combo. I've been waking up at 4 every night too, not helpful.

Me, I have an embie on board! Transfer was fine and we went and got a cheeky McD's afterwards. Had not realised how much they would push down on my very full bladder with that scanning wand though, so I was glad the little thing popped quickly and smoothly out of the catheter. Let the countdown begin, hope this board is lucky for me too!

mincedpea · 06/11/2019 15:06

@Roobles79 Good to hear you're on the next stage of things. I would ask the nurse what time to take the powder stuff. I guess if they didn't say anything, you could do it at the same time as the Buserelin but I'd probably just call to check as they are normally quite pedantic about timings of drugs.
