I can’t believe we’ve almost got to 1000 posts. I didn’t even know that was a thing - thank you @kittykatsmile because I had no idea it would just max out and I can NOT go on without you all. That’s not even an option.

@Ginandtonic31 yes I know. I was just being very helpful by pointing out how to count 12 hours apart....! It won't make much difference I wouldn't say. Just see if you can pull them closer from now on. I considered 7am/7pm but figured that might be even more challenging.

I've looked at my hospital notes and it doesn't specify. But I will ask on Friday at the hospital. Might be too late now anyway! Feel so right tonight. Headache, sore throat. Bleugh. A cold is coming. Wish I could take some time off.

@Ginandtonic31 if it helps, my timings have been pretty much exactly the same 🙊. I’m now following @KittyKatSmile ‘s advice and setting an alarm, 10 and 10.

@DawnK77 hope the appointment goes well for the FET cycle. I don't know anything about frozen cycles, although I think they require less meds than a fresh cycle. Hope all goes well.

@Mrbay your boss doesn't sound very helpful (or clued up about IVF). Hope you manage to sort something out. I need to talk to my boss again about time off next week. He's been great about it so far, but I think some colleagues are wondering what's going on!

@KittyKatSmile great idea about the alarms. Only I've have to set 6 (!) per day for all the meds I'm on. That'll keep me busy! I've gone for 7am and 7pm with the cyclogest, only because I know I'll always be home at those times!

@Ginandtonic31 congrats on the award! Well done you and your team!

Got a call from the embryologist - we have some embryos!! Whoop whoop! As we have such small numbers I was really worried we wouldn't get any, but we have. Got EVERYTHING crossed they do ok.

I've just checked and 'only' have 5 alarms but I'd like to add that one has 2 drugs on it and there are 3 additional lots of drugs that are at mealtimes so I hopefully remember those...

Had to try and get more clexane needles last night. Joked to the pharmacist that it would have been easier to get my hands on heroin. Think she was about to call the police.

@KittyKatSmile what’s the flow chart you are talking about?! You win on the number of meds! Do you need that many the whole pregnancy?

@Zest11 was given a flow chart on what they look for every day between EC and ET and the decisions they make (I think?!) I had made my own (sort of) or rather kept trying to push my consultant into helping me make one!

Think the drugs continue to 12 weeks. Just did a list. 13 drugs in a day. Ooooof.

@KittyKatSmile hmmmm interesting. @Zest11 could I have a look at the flow chart? I don’t get an update now until Saturday. They said that if we had 1-2 fertilised, they would do a day 3 transfer (Saturday). Any more than that they would do a 5 day transfer (Monday). I asked what happened if some of them didn’t develop, but they said they would still go for the 5 day transfer as we have more than 2??

I'm slightly worried as I don't have many meds! So Back Door Club... this morning pessarie went in, was getting dressed and it slid back out! Maybe my bum is getting too baggy.

Thanks for the congrats! I feel awful today. Got a cold coming. Wish I could head home to bed!

My blood test is tomorrow so I am testing tonight.

@Ginandtonic31 I wouldn’t worry about the meds. My 6 are - thyroxine (which I have taken for 10 years, but have added an alarm so I don’t forget it in the chaos of the other meds!), cyclogest am, antibiotic am, antibiotic pm, cyclogest pm, folic acid. I am mega forgetful so need alarms/lists for everything! Lol at the pessary coming back out! Thank goodness it happened at home! Imagine if that had happened in the supermarket 😱

@Ginandtonic31 fingers crossed for your test tonight! How many dpt are you? How sensitive is a test done in the evening rather than on the first wee of the day?

@AliciaWhiskers glad you got good news :) I think you said part of the issue was MFI? If that's the case that's brilliant you have some embryos.

Sorry I've been quiet, just feeling v. down today as I haven't felt anything (I KNOW it's just 3dp5dt) and like @Cauliflower82 said this is dragging. Attached is the flowchart I was given for an EC on a weds but that's just my clinic's protocol. Sorry about the bits chopped off, I don't want Keith to know where I live!

I'm on X3 pessaries a day... Something to fill my time with haha and then just progynova morning and night Plus folic. That's enough for me...
@kittykatsmile I have a million needles you could have if your were local lol, is it normal to have so many left? I have a whole bottle of burserlin as well... Do the medicine company normally come to collect the sharps box?
@ginandtonic31 good luck for testing, I'm so envious I still have a week to go ... @cornishmaid1 you must be soon too I think?
I currently have X2 packs of frer and the clear blue date digital in my Amazon basket, don't want to order them too soon as that will just be torturing myself think I'll order them on sat.

I didn’t ask about the grading. Maybe they are doing ok.

@aliciawhiskers I was also not told about the specific grading during my updates so assume they are fine.

Hello! Will have a read through tonight at everyone's news and catch up. Hope you are all doing well :-)

Little update on the head mash of the century.....it was a Chemical in the end. We tested yesterday and it was negative, we did another 5 tests and got a line so faint it was practically invisible on a Clear Blue wee stick but that's it. I called the clinic and they said to stop taking the meds and wait for a bleed.

I cried for what felt like an eternity, cried a bit more and then got blind drunk. DH was absolutely fantastic and just let me indulge in whatever mood I was in. We actually had a pretty fun day.

I just feel so heartbroken today and deflated, it's been an immense roller coaster with the all the weird reactions, the bleeding, the positives...hope...baby names...plans we had to then go from that to a hard negative and complete stop. I'm sure it will be fine in a few days, it's just taking a while to process and acknowledge.

@bellad85 so sorry to read your update. Of course you are heartbroken, that’s completely normal, especially with the up and down journey you have had. Be gentle with yourself, you and your DH sound great :)

I'm only 8fp5dt but I'm in for a blood test tomorrow and I don't want to find out on the phone tomorrow at work! I'm prepared it could be weak. Also I think wee will make a bit of a difference. But i don't wee much so hoping it will be consented by tonight 😂if not I will try again tomorrow morning.

So I took part in the back door gang this morning..... argh. Was heading out for coffee this morning around the time I usually do the cyclogest so couldn't do my usual 15 mins chill out on my bed. Had absolutely no mess but it was a weird feeling, it kind of sucked itself up

@Zest11 transfer buddy, how are you getting on?? How are we only 3dp?! Trying not to symptom spot!! Massively bloated today!!

@Welshpugmomma everyone always jokes i have a bladder or steel. I won't go now until I do it about 9 😂I can sometime go home from work and think I've not had a wee today! I'm starting to worry now as I've not really considered if it's a negative.

@Ginandtonic31 well you'll certainly be fine then on the concentrated front! Try and stay positive :) I thought as well sometimes it will show earlier in a blood test than on a stick? Which test you gonna use! I'm so hopeful for you :)

@Welshpugmomma these were prefilled needles; I also have a million empty ones. Feels such a waste but all we can do is take them back I think. I think local hospitals come to pick up your sharps bin but I'm not sure....

@RRoonilWazlib yessss! That's what I said about the sucking up and everyone thought I was (even more) weird. It's kind of fun isn't it?! Clever bum hole. Worried mine will get baggy now....

@BellaD85 so sorry to hear your news. It's heartbreaking. I know a bit of how you're feeling. Take time and be kind to yourself. Sounds like DH is a gem. Get drunk again.
