I can’t believe we’ve almost got to 1000 posts. I didn’t even know that was a thing - thank you @kittykatsmile because I had no idea it would just max out and I can NOT go on without you all. That’s not even an option.

Hey @BellaD85. Can't imagine what a head fuck this must be. Only thing I can say is to get pink dye tests (not blue) so FRER. Apparently they are more sensitive? Tentative good news that the consultant said to be hopeful. And really good that you got to speak to him.

Have you heard that BFN is taking a break? Should we offer to take over? Or just set up our own podcast, the Back Passage Girls?

@Ginandtonic31 I don't have sore boobs either. Go and buy Take a Break and enter the competitions. Then you can spend the prize money on hosting a party for us all x

Oh @BellaD85 I totally get how that will be messing with your head. Like the others have said, it's good that the consultant is positive!!

@Ginandtonic31 I'm on the same dose of progesterone as you and dont have particularly sore boobs either! Do some people have bugger doses?? Canr imagine having to shove more than one up there at a time

@Zest11 I had no cramps first thing but feeling crampy a bit again now. Our OTD is the day before my birthday and I'm heading to London for the weekend for my birthday so I can either be celebrating being pregnant or having a drink to celebrate my birthday!!

@KittyKatSmile oh I want to do that but I'm at work 😫 I bought a sudoku book the other day and I want to do tat but keep getting more work shoved at me.

I definitely think we should start a podcast! We could have different slots or a few together!! My degree is in journalism...

@RRoonilWazlib oh that makes me feel better. With the pessaries I'm always worried when I do one at night and then in the morning that I'm just piling loads up

I have crazy sore boobs, and I haven't even had EC yet! Don't think presence or absence of sore boobs means much at all!

@AliciaWhiskers I had painful boobs before EC. But not now I've had transfer.

@cauliflower82 - thinking of you and Pip today. Hope it goes well. Ref chicken eggs, you can have Red Lion stamped eggs, the risk is lower when you have a RL egg with a runny yolk.

@Zest11 - I'm sorry but Lemon is sticking. Perhaps they are doing a little tour of your womb in the style of Through the Key Hole!
My poor DH has had to endure weeks of talk about my backside and not in a good way!!

Ref BFN - the lady is friend's with my BIL (small world) - I think we should do it! However maybe the talk of poo would put people off and the audience would find out that you are indeed Keith, unless you are any good at doing voices?!

The drugs have finally taken their toll on me, feeling pretty down today and grumpy. I am seriously fed up with the injections, my stomach is sore and bruised. Tried my thigh - that just hurt. I cannot find a site that doesn't sting to inject into. My poor DH is getting twitchy as one he's not had a drink since Feb and two hasn't seen my lady garden for a good few weeks/months.
Also slightly worried that his Hep B core blood test was missed so he's had to get that re-done and they cannot get enough blood from him - he's extremely difficult and can faint. My friend has been the only nurse to manage to stab him first time and draw blood. If they didn't draw enough blood last week, then we won't be allowed to go ahead with the ET.

@mrbay where did you have your blood tests done? If on the nhs they may well still have the existing blood sample, as they tend to store them for a few weeks. Try and contact your GP if you had it done through them - ask them to contact the lab and do the hep b test on the previous sample.

A little update before I catch up on everyone’s news:

Pip is officially in me :) and I’ve introduced him to our dog and they seem to be getting on very nicely.

Embryo transfer wasn’t done by ultrasound which has me a little weirded out as you guys all seem to have ultrasound. On the plus, no full bladder needed.

I will catch up with all of your posts now before I nap with my dog.

@BellaD85 best of luck 🤞 I hope you have a second clearer line in the morning. This must be playing havoc on your sanity - hope you’re doing okay and feeling more reassured by the consultant.

@KittyKatSmile Back Passage Girls - I love it. Maybe we could have our own podcast - the ‘infertile mafia’ do one and they’ve never even met.

@Ginandtonic31 I’m on the same dosage as you for progesterone and I’m not taking anything for oestrogen.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having a bit of a crap time right now. I felt very similar to you nearing the end of injections and everything - I was sick of the whole thing tbh. I hope everything works out for your husband and his blood test.

@AliciaWhiskers this is the last week of term for me rubbish couple of weeks in class with a very violent child who ended up pushing me, thankfully I broke my fall with my hands and tummy protected but still not nice! So cried to management that it's not fair on the child as clearly not coping and I will not be put in danger, so I have been pretty stressed and worried about the effects of stress which of course doesn't help! I have literally not slept a full night since transfer so holidays just can't come quickly enough.

@BellaD85 fingers crossed for you, I second to get a frer I think they're pretty reliable

@Weenumpty that is so terrible for you, I'm so sorry to read that. My colleagues can be a proper bunch of pricks (investment wankers....) but they don't ever push me over (physically, that is). You poor thing.

I’m going to be one of those ‘obsessive mums’, so Pip appears to be giving me a few cramps, only five hours after transfer. Hmm 🤔 I wonder if this is normal.

Naughty boy Pip (although quite a good unisex name I think). I don't think it's a bad sign @Cauliflower82. Get your copy of That's Life out and try to take your mind off it x

@RRoonilWazlib aww that's great that it's your birthday after...yes definitely celebrations either way! Although not my birthday I have quite a few things going on in the days and weeks after OTD as I thought if it doesn't work, I need to have positive things to focus on!

@AliciaWhiskers how are you feeling about tomorrow? I wish you lots of luck and promise you it's fine.

@Mrbay I'm sorry you're not feeling so good, the injections etc are relentless but the end is in sight. I hope they manage to get blood!

@Weenumpty I am so sorry to hear that, the kids get particularly restless at the end of term. Is it primary or secondary you're in? At least you only have 3 more days...we don't finish until the 19th although I intend to be whacking on videos and doing 'fun' stuff regardless of what management say so I avoid stress.

@Cauliflower82 yayy glad transfer went well and Pip has been bonding with your doggy! I heard there's two ways of doing the transfer. To be honest, if it wasn't for everyone on here I'd have forgotten to go with a full bladder! Yes, the cramping is completely normal, I had it quite a bit yesterday but not so much today. Do you have the rest of the week off?

Did anyone / does anyone feel absolutely shattered after ET? I have no idea if it's the sun or just the emotion of it all but I feel sooo tired and I haven't done anything.

I am also going to be one of those "obsessive mums." Like today, I went for a walk and when I got back in the car it was sooooo hot, I started sweating and wondered if I'd killed Lemon because my body temperature must have raised. I Obviously wound the windows down and the breeze came in after I set off but when I got in it was just baking!

@Zest11 I think the thing to remember about this is that people can get hot and be/stay pregnant otherwise there would be no babies ever born in Mediterranean or Middle Eastern climates. That is not meant to be as patronising as Keith has possibly made it sound but remember he's been round the block a few times....

@Cauliflower82 forgot to say: that is so interesting about the infertile mafia! I heard them say that on BFN but assumed it was a hilarious joke!!

@KittyKatSmile thank you Keith. I know I sounded mental (on par with your pheasant/peasant friend!) To be honest...I didn't even think about the Mediterranean/Middle Eastern countries. I am an idiot!

@zest11 I’ve been trying to keep Pip nice and warm :). Try not to worry too much. It’s hard, isn’t it?! I still worry going to the toilet and I must have been about eight times! Are you talking to Lemon?

@BellaD85 loving your story and really hoping that your little ones are hanging in there. My colleague went through this at Leeds last year, bled a lot and was touch and go but they held in there. Hoping you get a line again in the morning.

@Zest11 our tour guide in Egypt was pregnant, all in black complete with headdress. She was hot but was on at least her third child. They survived. Trust your body. Think we all need to be doing that right now.

I'm very jealous of everyone with time off work for this. I ended up taking annual leave for a week around EC (mil funeral at same time which was great for a work excuse!) but working straight after transfer. It's relentless isn't it. Cramping a little and with humongous sore boobs but no sign of anything yet. Trying not to test too. Got to wait until Sunday. Argh.

@Ginandtonic31 @Cauliflower82 sending lots of good vibes for test days.

@Mrbay keep going with those injections, you know the end result is worth it.

Why else would we all put ourselves through this??!!

@KittyKatSmile I'm doing rubbish at the puzzles 😂 the awards is an industry one. My team are shortlisted. I've gained so much weight I've nothing to wear so I'm going to have to jazz up a boring dress with good shoes, earrings and lipstick. I work in communications/media.
