Hi peeps :)

I’ll hyperlink this to our old thread so we can continue bitching about crystal82 😂

I can’t believe we’ve almost got to 1000 posts. I didn’t even know that was a thing - thank you @kittykatsmile because I had no idea it would just max out and I can NOT go on without you all. That’s not even an option.

@Becsharry - I am so sorry, I missed your post this morning. I'm not sure what else to say.

Ref MN - why is the automatic reply to just up and leave your partner? Every relationship has issues, if we finished a relationship for each issue we'd all be single.
Relationships can get through slot if you are both willing to work on them and move on.
Well unless your partner is abusive, those traits are hard to change.

Ginandtonic31 · 01/07/2019 12:23

@Mrbay I know! Exactly what my mum said. Someone always says well that's a red flag! Or someone will be like just need to moan, my husband came home drunk, left pots in the sink and fell asleep on the sofa and I had to get up with the baby and they're all like he's a prick leave him! Like WTF? I'm terrible for thinking everything should be 100% perfect and that made me worse so I've had to remove myself from it! This is the only nice bit of this site! I feel like we are in our own bubble 😂

Cauliflower82 · 01/07/2019 13:56

@Mrbay it is working, but just 😂

@AliciaWhiskers like @Ginandtonic31 I was left stimming longer than ‘average’ too and I got quite grouchy about the whole thing but they totally did know what they were doing. I feel your pain though - mine were all stupidly varying in size. In fact, a third that they collected were still immature but I just couldn’t have gone on any more.

@Becsharry I’m sorry to hear it’s another negative. Hope you’re doing okay.

It looks like I’m set for embryo transfer tomorrow. I don’t know how I quite feel about it in all honesty. I’m still not 100%. Maybe I’m about 54% now. I had to go in this morning for bloods to be taken but I’m not quite sure what they’re checking for. Can the hcg trigger make you feel pregnant? I swear to god that since that bloody trigger, I’ve felt nauseous and just a bit ‘airheady’

@AliciaWhiskers hope you are feeling a bit better about things and we have reassured you :) Please trust your clinic. I got paranoid mine weren't getting the most out of me but they were very happy with the quality and I am happy with how things are now.

@Cauliflower82 hahah twinny... "54%" how precise! I'm sorry you're not feeling 55% or even 73.7% yet but it looks like you're getting better. Go for it tomorrow, you will regret it if you change your mind and to be honest, the process in the clinic today was by far the easiest bit out of this whole process (other than this weekend's carbfest). Whoop whoop excited for you!!

So today went fine, all was quite smooth. Got a little embryo in me...names for it on a postcard please. "Cutie" is taken. The 11dw begins!

CornishMaid1 · 01/07/2019 15:42

@Becsharry I'm sorry for your update.

@Cauliflower82 The ET isn't too bad. It was a bit uncomfortable (but in a 'I can feel there is something there that is not meant to be there' way). The nausea could be from the progesterone if you have started that. A lot of things can be down to the progesterone. It could also be a side effect of OHSS, so make sure you are drinking plenty.

@Zest11 Good luck on ET. Don't worry about being on your own for it - DH went to the clinic with me but didn't go in for the ET. His words were 'I have seen artificial insemination in cows before on the farm and it's basically the same thing so I've seen it all before'. Bet Crystal82 didn't get that. To be fair it did make me and the nurse laugh.

AliciaWhiskers · 01/07/2019 16:24

Thanks all for your positivity. I think I get wound up about stuff that's completely out of my control, and it takes me a while to see the bigger picture and become a bit more pragmatic about it. There's nothing I can do about it. There are still some follies the right size. I need to stop fretting about stuff that I can't do anything about, and stay positive. It might still all be fine!

KittyKatSmile · 01/07/2019 17:35

@Zest11 yay! Embaby on board (you have no idea how many attempts it took me to write that word after autocorrect changed it!) May I suggest you call it Keith?

@Cauliflower82 best of luck tomorrow oh fearless leader of ours. So excited for you.

@CornishMaid1 I love your DH's statement; seems like a sensible chap.

AliciaWhiskers · 01/07/2019 18:01

May I suggest you call it Keith?

@KittyKatSmile Grin Grin Grin

Zest11 · 01/07/2019 18:26

@KittyKatSmile hahahaha, should have seen that one coming! Think we'll just stick with generic embaby!

Ginandtonic31 · 01/07/2019 18:27

@Zest11 yay congratulations! Hopefully we can get a load of positives in the next few weeks!

@Cauliflower82 what are you only 54% certain about? Going ahead with the actual transfer?

@AliciaWhiskers I also get wound up easily too. I did think second time I got left too long but somehow got lots of eggs so I think bit of extra time actually helped. Trigger tonight then?!

@CornishMaid1 love just how normal that is for a man and also life! Doesn't have to be videos with soppy music. But you do realise if you put that on any other thread on this site that would be classed as a 'red flag' and you would be told to take all his money and leave right now?!

I felt tempted to do a test today. Why?! Just got to get through tonight and tomorrow and then Wednesday and Thursday I'm away.

Zest11 · 01/07/2019 18:31

@CornishMaid1 thank you. That's actually so funny, men can be just so literal can't they!

AliciaWhiskers · 01/07/2019 18:38

@Ginandtonic31 when is your OTD? Where are you off to later in the week? Doing something nice?

I know it was only a few days since we last did an update, but I've forgotten already where everyone is at. Could we rename @KittyKatSmile/Keith as Graham, as per the old style Blind Date (is anyone as old as me here?!) and he could give us a quick reminder!

Ginandtonic31 · 01/07/2019 18:50

@AliciaWhiskers love a bit of our Graham! (How old are you?)

Im on for a blood test on Friday which is day 9 but I don't want to be told on the phone at work so I want to test on Thursday night which would be day 8. I'm definitely not going to test before I'm just feeling negative as no symptoms at all. Not even from the progesterone so starting to think that's not even working!! I'm going to an awards do on Wednesday night and staying over so I can drink 🙄so I've got to blag not drinking. Or I could test Wednesday morning and drink if it's negative...

AliciaWhiskers · 01/07/2019 18:55

@Ginandtonic31 ha another Graham fan! I'm 39, how about you? Wouldn't day 7 be too early to test? I'd try and blag the not drinking. On antibiotics for a tooth infection? (You'd take metronidazole, and you definitely can't drink on them)

Ginandtonic31 · 01/07/2019 19:02

@AliciaWhiskers I'm 32. I won't really test until Thursday night when I get back. I was thinking of saying I need to have a blood test Friday and can't drink for a week as it might skew the results. I sit next to the person at work so they would keep asking about my tooth!

Weenumpty · 01/07/2019 19:24

Hi all, just wanted to say I'm still reading and thinking of you all x

Weenumpty · 01/07/2019 19:29

And also @KittyKatSmile I'm sorry but I'm nosey so read your other thread- please don't take any note of those insensitive, horrible posters, I am shocked that people would be that heartless. I think that with everything you've been through you're doing amazingly well and are absolutely right to be thinking of your mental health- you need to look after yourself to be in the best way possible, physically and mentally to be strong for your cutie and I think you're especially amazing as you are doing it on your own. But you're not really on your own! For a thread of random people I think everyone here is so supportive! And although I haven't been posting lately like I say I'm still following as I feel invested in you all and am really rooting for everyone xxx

BellaD85 · 01/07/2019 19:47

Evening Ladies! Get ready for my longest update yet...you're a chatty bunch :-)

So a little update on me first....still blooming bleeding and graduated from little liners to sanitary pads on Friday as it's been rather heavy and had clots too. However............I tested yesterday just to get my BFN before I went to work today and just move on in my head etc and over yesterday and today I've got 6 BFP!! They are all faint however you can clearly see them all, today's Clear Blue was clearer than yesterday and that should mean that I have more then 25mui in my body. I did a test on Thursday which was negative (Clear Blue) so i'm happy that there is nothing left of the trigger shot. Just absolutely no idea what is happening and if I am pregnant or not!!?? I have come to about 1.35866 million theories!!!! Going to test again tomorrow and then Wednesday is the big day! I've treated myself to a Digital for that day, if you're wondering...yes I did come home with 15 tests yesterday of different varieties after getting the faint BFP in the morning....just to be sure!!

@Welshpugmomma What have you got planned for the next 11 days? I think you need a project or something to keep you occupied. Do you do any crafts or cooking/baking? Shoulder tip pain is normal so don't worry. I had it after EC but knew what it was as I had it with both my Laparoscopy Operations too.

@Ginandtonic31 Don't be worried lovely, if anything the bike ride will have improved the blood flow and got lots of lovely oxygen and good hormones flowing around your body :-)

@KittyKatSmile Do those bitches know who you are!!!!!???? Do they know you are from the "Back Door Gang!!?? Gggrrrr. Ignore them
lovely xx

@Becsharry I'm so sorry to hear about your BFN this morning :-( If they have you in for bloods maybe that's to see if anything is happening? Try and stay positive and focused, you have another cycle ahead of you and all the opportunity in the world xx

@mouse1234567 Your holiday will be here soon and then you can make us all jealous by having some lovely real cocktails on the beach!! RE: your message a couple of days ago i'm on 1 injection every evening of Progesterone which is 25mg. The clinic just said that bleeding can happen and don't seem to want to do anything else because i'm already on the injections so we will see.....

BellaD85 · 01/07/2019 19:47

Still replying to you.....just stopped for a quick wee and to do my injection :-) Back very soon to finish replying.....x

BellaD85 · 01/07/2019 19:52

P.S also to my update i'm now 9DP5DT...so my first BFP was 8DP5DT. But I've been bleeding since D2P5DT......the mind truly boggles!!!!!!!!

BellaD85 · 01/07/2019 20:05

@AliciaWhiskers RE: post the other day I had no idea you can bleed on Progestrone either! But based on the dragon, old man and the face from Sinister in my Emby scan plus the weird fluid pouches going down my leg on the stims i'm starting to think that my body is doing everything that it shouldn't. Feel like i'm living proof of the "very rare side effects" section you read in all the med pamphlets! Don't worry about your eggs lovely xx

@Zest11 I hope you feel 89.1% today/tomorrow!! So glad to hear that you had a lovely weekend in the sun :-) With regards to Frozen we were told on the day of ET just before we went in what the quality of the 4 we had left were. They told us there and then that only 2 were good quality and the second good one wouldn't survive the freeze so that's why they recommended 2 back. They did leave the other 2 poor quality ones until the Sunday (day after) to see what happened but they didn't do anything.

@CornishMaid Thank you for the info :-) How are you feeling today? is your OTD the same day as mine? Sorry I can't remember of you were the same of were a couple of days after. Sending all the BFP vibes in the world to you xx

BellaD85 · 01/07/2019 20:09

@Mrbay Good for you going to a gig!! Also thanks for the recipes they look delicious!! I laughed out loud when I read about the "Sex on the Beach"........that's the closest thing I will get to it at the moment FFS haha!!

@Cauliflower82 I hope you start to feel tippy toppy soon! How are you feeling about tomorrow? Will be thinking of you! Make sure you get a good sleep tonight and get rested. Hahaha on the 16 eggs per day....it made me think of Gaston (from Beauty and the Best) knocking back all the eggs on one go and getting really big hench muscles!!! Good work on the tan! I was working on Saturday so didn't get to enjoy any of it until after 5pm...it was sooooo hot!!!! x

Mrbay · 01/07/2019 20:15

@Cauliflower82, glad the loo is still working but hope you cracked a window 🤣🤣🤣
@Ginandtonic31 - sod the perfect insta couples, my life isn't perfect but I'm glad I don't feel the need to post my whole life on social media.
I would suggest you wait ref testing, you'll kick yourself if you get a false negative and drink. I don't know why people can't accept, no I'm not drinking!
Are you up for an award.

@KittyKatSmile - sod the haters, not that I managed to find the thread #imatechnophobe

@Zest11 - yay! Count down to test day. Could we name it lemon as in Keith lemon?!

@Weenumpty - how you feeling?

@AliciaWhiskers - I have no update! Next scan to check how stimms is going is Friday, hopefully I've got at least one!

@BellaD85 - yay!! 🍞 in the oven!

Ginandtonic31 · 01/07/2019 20:16

What a response @BellaD85 and what a result!!! Did you say you had two embryos? Perhaps one is hanging on?

Becsharry · 01/07/2019 20:20

@BellaD85 I’m so happy for you!! A line is a line - faint it’s still there 😊

Thank you @Mrbay
Thank you @CornishMaid1
Thank you @Cauliflower82

I’m actually ok today, got my head around it and feeling positive for the next round x
