IVF / ICSI in April / May

Hi all, I'm starting a thread for anyone expecting to start a new IVF cycle in April or May. I've been keeping an eye out for one, but realised I could just start it myself!

I'm 37 and about to start my second stimming cycle. I've had two FETs from my last cycle, both of which sadly ended in miscarriage, so we'll be PGS testing this batch if we hopefully get some good enough to test and freeze. On higher doses this time around, so a bit worried about side effects. Found it fine last time though (except the interminable waiting).

I got a BFP this morning at 9dp5dt, I'm totally shocked, I really wasn't expecting that. But obviously I'm massively fearful of another miscarriage, so not jumping for joy just yet.

@lillyleaf - wow congratulations on your BFP! I understand your cautious but it’s positive. When will you have bloods done? I have not tested today but may do tomorrow.

@Hunter14 my blood test is tomorrow, hopefully it will be a good number. I slept so badly last night, I had really weird dreams about taking the test so I was wake very early. Good luck if you decide to test tomorrow.

So one of the embryos has made it to day 3 and is looking good. The other one died. Massive 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 now our survivor can make it to day 5.

I went ahead and tested & got my first ever BFP. I’m shocked and can’t quite believe it. Trying to hold off any celebration until bloods on Wednesday but the second line is clear and defined.

Omg that is the best news Hunter14 I also have a little update!!
I tested yesterday a day early so tested again today First Response and Clear Blue ( clearly one may be faulty) and got a BFP I was so upset yesterday with the result today I’m a bit shocked!!
Hoping that all the news is fabulous for us all I have everything crossed for us all Smile

I think I may have just fallen off my chair...

9dp2dt today and have been testing since 5dp2dt because Im a control freak that way.. BFNs every single day. I bought a bunch of cheapies and then one ClearBlue digital for the last day. And Ive been POAS like a crazy person and keep getting BFNs - Even told my husband today that its over and we even went to go and look at a smaller house to buy in a nicer area as we both said if it doesnt work we were not doing it again.

Came home this afternoon after using my last cheapie for my first morning wee. Looked at the ClearBlue and thought WTH Im just going to do it and its come up as 1-2 weeks pregnant

Can it possibly be?

Really wish I had some more tests on hand.

@mikkyr stop using cheapies! If you need to test again use a FRER. But you got a positive, congratulations.

Blood test is also a positive. My progesterone is a little under what they would like so I have to up the dose to 3 Cyclogest and 2 lubion shots (it's going to cost a fortune).

Embryo is still alive! But is not yet a blastocyst, still a morula - so it's more waiting to see if it develops today or tomorrow enough to be frozen (and hopefully tested)
