Starting a new thread for all of us going through IVF/ICSI in January/February!

First round of ICSI for us. I’m on the last week of my birth control pill before starting Gonal F injections on the 18th Jan, with the hope of egg collection on the 30th and transfer on the 4th Feb! I’m egg sharing so have been on the pill a while to sync my cycle with the woman recovering half of my eggs Smile.

Is anyone else at a simile stage?

@ginandtonicformeplease I’m now 11 days from 2 day transfer.

@Realitysucks - I would say it's still a little to early, I had to test 16days post egg collection which wouldn't have changed regardless of transfer date. My sister got a negative at 14days from EC but then a positive with her little boy 16days from EC. X

I had a negative result 11dp5dt, then positive result at 14dp. I wouldn't give up hope yet!

I had my scan this morning, all looking good apparently! They want me to go back for another scan in two weeks - they didn't say why but I think it might be because I lost the last one at 9 weeks.

I also start a new job on Monday (not ideal timing but hey ho) so hopefully that'll keep my mind of everything.

@ginandtonicformeplease my clinic offered a 10 week scan too. They did say it was optional but we've decided to do it anyway 😁

@ginandtonicformeplease - glad all went well this morning and things are progressing as they should. Good the clinic are keeping an eye on things. Fingers crossed for your next scan, I know the worry when you feel like they haven't said something but I don't think they do it's just because they appreciate the risk. On the plus side you get to see the baby again in two weeks and they can provide the reassurance.

Good luck with your new job Monday at least you'll have something to distract you! Xxx
