Hi everyone, so we saw the nurse earlier this week and our plan has been set. We are on long protocol and will be looking at starting on my December cycle meaning that I will be due to start buserelin around 6th jan with EC being end of Jan.

Anyone else looking at a December/ January cycle?

@brighteye3986 wow that is an amazing start 12 out 14!!! Keeping everything crossed for you xx

PostiveThinkingRainbow · 12/02/2019 10:51

@brighteye3986 with regards to pessaries TMI round the back everytime!!! Its sounds worse then it is, I had to do it as my clinic advises you to do it on the day of transfer and then after that I never went back, or should I say front ;) It is absorbed within 20 minutes my clinic told me.
I have two pessaries a day 400mg Cylogest, do you have three?

PostiveThinkingRainbow · 12/02/2019 10:59

@Positivity86 sorry to hear about the OHSS, my ovaries got 8cm each and were touching each other! Do they have you Caborgaline?
Yes I was told implantation can bring it on, have everything crossed for you xxx

PostiveThinkingRainbow · 12/02/2019 11:25

@Kay2705 so sorry to hear your news. I had cervical cancer 2013 had treatment for that, then discovered I had pre-cancer cells in my uterus which out fertility treatment back another 9 months so know exactly how you feel.
The frustration can be hard to deal with but we have to have hope to cope as they say.
I wish you a speedy healthy 7 months and all the best with your next round. xx

brighteye3986 · 12/02/2019 11:27

@PostiveThinkingRainbow I'm on 3 a day. I have started with the front and so far not so bad. I will just wait and see I guess.

@brighteye3986 That's great news. Hope they grow well.

My one didn't fertilise so my cycle has failed completely.

I wish everyone the best of luck for your cycles xx

brighteye3986 · 12/02/2019 13:19

Oh I'm so sorry @CornishMaid1. Sending you lots of love and hugs. Take care and rest up.

Positivity86 · 12/02/2019 13:55

@PostiveThinkingRainbow thank you, no they've not given me anything. Just told me to rest and drink lots of water. I was doing that anyway so strange that it suddenly got me! Will have to go for another scan this week for monitoring.

@brighteye3986 that's a great number, congrats!!

@CornishMaid1 so sorry to hear that, take care of yourself and I hope you have success in the future x

@Kay2705 Sorry to hear that, wishing you all the best for your next round x

womaninkent · 12/02/2019 14:16

@cornishmaid1 so sorry to hear that. I hope it works out for you next time xx

@brighteye3986 that is almost exactly the same as my numbers (14 mature 11 fertilised)-this is almost spooky!!

brighteye3986 · 12/02/2019 14:21

@womaninkent this is very spooky! Especially being under the same hospital too. I'm really hoping I have the same luck as you now. They seemed to think we would get to day 5 with the number of fertilised eggs we ended up with. I have everything crossed to get to day 5.

@brighteye3986 that's a great result! Fingers crossed.

@cornishmaid1 and @kay2705 I'm so sorry things haven't worked out for you. Wishing you both the very best of the luck in the future.

Had our transfer today. We got four good blastocyts all grade 2's. Our clinic seems to grade them 1-5, 1 being the best.
Transfer was a 2AA, others were all at various stages behind that but all good enough to freeze. They seemed happy enough but had some difficulty with the transfer (getting it to show on ultrasound). But he seemed sure he had got it in there.

Does anyone understand the grading system? I didn't really understand nor remember what grades all four were and now it's worrying me.

Positivity86 · 13/02/2019 12:04

@Ginger951 good news on your transfer! Enjoy being PUPO and hope the 2WW goes well for you. I don't know much on the grading either and I think each clinic is slightly different (mine grades 1 to 4) but a grade 2 embryo is really good and the fact it's a blastocyst too. If it helps I don't remember the exact grades of my frozen ones either, just that they were good quality. They won't freeze bad quality ones 😊

PostiveThinkingRainbow · 13/02/2019 13:47

@Ginger951 Wahoo, PUPO, try to rest and relax as much as possible without letting yourself go crazy!! Hope your two weeks do not drag. Best of luck xxx

brighteye3986 · 13/02/2019 15:07

@Ginger951 good luck in your 2ww.

@Rememberallball Oh wow huge congratulations, wahoo!!! TWINS, I am so pleased for you!!! What a perfect outcome!! You must be over the moon :)

PostiveThinkingRainbow · 14/02/2019 08:10

I am 16 days past a 5 day transfer, have no symptoms at all really.
But I have noticed that now the pregnancy line on my test is stronger and appears faster than the test working line.
Is this a good or a bad thing?

Happened to anyone else?

brighteye3986 · 14/02/2019 09:02

Just had our update phone call..... there are a couple that are a bit slow and behind the rest but around 10 eggs are growing well and are all good quality so far. They advised they will confirm this with me at ET on Saturday.... eeek I'm so happy that we are going to get to day 5! Today I also have acupuncture in preparation for ET Saturday too.

I can't believe I'm writing this...I'm 10dp 5dt and went in for a scan this morning to check my OHSS which isn't any better...however they did a urine test and I'm pregnant!!!! First ever BFP in 2.5 years. What a valentines present ❤️

Baby dust to everyone xxx

womaninkent · 14/02/2019 09:48

@positivethinkingrainbow i’m sure it’s a good sign.

@brighteye3986 we had ten still going by day 3 as well. It just gets spookier. How many are you going to have transferred?

brighteye3986 · 14/02/2019 10:17

Congratulations @Positivity86!

@womaninkent this is eerily scary now! I am only having 1 put back as that's the hospitals procedure. I don't think many UK hospitals will put back more than 1.

Ginger951 · 14/02/2019 10:59

@positivity86 congratulations! What a wonderful Valentine's day for u! Bet u can't stop smiling!

@brighteye3986 those are some great numbers! You looking to freeze as well?

@positivethinkingrainbow I sure it's a good sign. Lots of hormones in there! If u are worried find the least sensitive test u can and I'm sure u will get the same great result.

Anyone else feel no different during the 2ww? Part of my brain keeps saying it hasn't worked. And I'm terrified I'm pushing myself to hard. I have a much higher tolerance than most people and get told off all the time for working to hard. But my work means bossing people around and deep cleaning. Which now I realise counts as heavy housework which I've been told not to do and now I'm panicking.... it just feels so easy I've been doing it almost everyday for 3 years.
