Hi everyone, so we saw the nurse earlier this week and our plan has been set. We are on long protocol and will be looking at starting on my December cycle meaning that I will be due to start buserelin around 6th jan with EC being end of Jan.

Anyone else looking at a December/ January cycle?

I had my egg collection today and got 13 eggs. Will find out tomorrow the fertilisation report.

The doctor who did my transfer said my lining was thinner than it was 2 days ago which is weird but my clinic said maybe it was measured in a different spot as I have fibroids. They also found some fluids in my lining. So now we may have to freeze all :( but they will see how I get on. Really hoping for a fresh transfer

Does anyone have any experience of fluids in the uterus?

@kay2705 sorry I don’t know anything about fluids in the lining. I hope it sorts itself out.

@Kay2705 I had fluid as I was developing OHSS so had to freeze all.
I was devastated, but then then clinic told me in a lot of countries only do freeze all as they believe you get better success rates as all the stims leave your body and the FET drugs are much kinder.

Thanks @womaninkent and @PostiveThinkingRainbow I hope or don't feel like I'm developing ohss. I feel perfectly fine so far just recovering from egg collection. I hope it sorts itself out if it I guess it will have to be freeze all

Got the call from the clinic today and 12 of the 13 eggs were mature and 7 fertilised. Really praying for the best these 7 make it further

Off for my down reg scan this morning. See how things are going. Oddly nervous.
I know quite a few of us are getting scans today, how's everyone else gotten on?

@Ginger951 my scan went ok on Monday. I have another one booked for today (later this morning) as my AF arrived on Tuesday but they said Wednesday would have been too soon for another scan.

I am hoping everything is good and I can start stims today or tomorrow.

Scan went well! I appear to have 42 follicles but the consultant said that not all of them will grow to the right size for collection which is okay by me. Another scan Monday and then egg collection Wednesday. I did ask what the chances were of having to freeze all due to OHSS risk and she said that she sees no reason why it would be at this stage which was reassuring!

I’m not sure if morning sickness has hit or not - have had a few nauseous moments but, after breakfast this morning, I’ve full on vomited twice. Felt better afterwards both times but now worried that it’s the start!!

My scan went well, eggs are growing well! I have another scan on Monday then egg collection Wednesday. Same as you @Justwaitingforaline...glad yours went well too. Good luck to everyone else x

Scan went well and can now start gonal f. Just got to wait for a phone call confirming when I start- probably going to be Monday as this works in the hospitals favour.

Had a bit of a cry as I phoned hubby after as he is at work and couldn't come with me, but he kept asking me questions and asking if that was definite and I couldn't give him an answer so he was getting moody with me. He doesn't seem to understand that my body decides what it's going to do and I can't tell him what it's going to decide to do! So frustrating!!!!!

At least I have had some good news so far today.

Still no visible follicles on today’s scan but the lining is thickening and I have pretty constant ache etc downstairs so something is happening . Have to just hope it’s slower due to my age and i’ll still get to the retrieval like before . They’ve changed my drugs a bit to what I had when we did ivf to have DD6 y. Halved the Menopure and added the same amount Gonal F . Cancelled mon scan and rescheduled it to nex wed . Hopefully then something since it would have been 2 whole weeks stim by then . Getting sick of needles after already 3 w of them and from now on it’s 3 a day . Good luck everyone .

@brighteye3986 great news that you can start stims! It's frustrating not being in control but it's moving in the right direction so that's great. I had a phone call too, mine was 1 day later, so you never know 😊

@Justwaitingforaline yes cycle buddies! My ovaries are getting sorer by the day with all these growing follicles, but otherwise I feel pretty good! How about you?

Yes I suppose this is scar halpend when I try to use your own eggs at age 43 quite often

@Positivity86 they have called and confirmed a start date for Monday which is what I thought it would be. For some reason my hospital like everything being done on a Monday! Just annoying I've had to move my holiday back 2 weeks..... to accommodate and DH has had to try and get the time off work too.

Have to admit it’s very disheartening to see all you guys numbers but I have to remind myself of my lovely dc . Any more would be an amazing bonus but I’m lucky to have what I have after all the struggle so far
