I’m now 6dp5dt and have caved and tested this morning. I wish I’d waited a little longer as the test was £8!

I have been studying the test in different lights and I swear I can see the faiiiiintest second line. Am I just hopeful and imagining it?!

Got a few internet cheapies and a couple of first response didgital tests to tide me over the next few days. Which should I use?!

How people manage not to test throughout the 2ww, I’ll never know. It was never going to be me. 😜

Elly those are clear positives, I reckon! I've seen too many stark white negatives over the years to recognise that as anything but! But I understand the comfort a darker line would bring. Maybe you have a late implanter.

I'm so weak, I ran out to get a FRER, and there's a definite line. So I'm going to accept that there's hcg in my system at the moment which is obviously a great sign, but keep reminding myself that there's a high chance of a chemical pregnancy and not let myself get too excited. Tried to post an image but I'm getting a message saying I can only post six per day - except that I haven't

Loula I went with the "not testing until official test day" strategy first time around and it devastated me; figured gradual and creeping disappointment would be better than another seismic shock. The progesterone made me really think I was pregnant so it was a blow. Also, some clinics advise to test at 9dp5dt as that's technically 14dpo . . .

Melissa how are you doing? I hope you're okay. I think it's a good thing the wedding is so soon, it will be a massive distraction if nothing else. Also, it's cold comfort, but our failed last cycle brought me and DH so much closer together; it reminded us both how much we love each other.

I'm going to do a FRER/internet cheapie each morning to see if it fades or gets stronger, and then the expensive Clearblue Digital on Sunday. If that's a positive, I'll sit DH down and give him the good news!

Hi RedPandaFluff, yes 10dpo! I’m going to try and wait until Wednesday to test again. It’s so hard to not test isn’t it? You’re faint positives are such a great sign, I’ve never had anything close to a BFP!

My ICSI 5 day transfer was a line like that- he’s just stomped into our bedroom (he’s 6).
I didn’t test until 12dpt though- I was worried about the trigger showing up.

So this is my clear blues for the last three mornings .... the bottom one is today’s. Unfortunately the background of the test is blue which makes the line look lighter (at least that’s what I think!) what do you all think? Xx

That’s a positive. Don’t compare line strength - that way madness lies!
How many days post EC/ transfer?

It could be a lazy one - it didn’t get to blasto until day 6 so it’s obviously taking its time. I rang the clinic today and they said they only go by digital results so technically I’m not pregnant but it’s not just me...the lines are getting stronger aren’t they?

So tomorrow they’ve asked me to come in for a more accurate Urine test??

Elly have you tried a FRER in the last couple of days? Apparently the blue ones are notorious for evap lines and erroneous dye marks; pink dye tests are supposed to be better. Perhaps try one of those?

Having said that, the later ones look like unequivocal positives to me . . .

This is what I'm terrified of. Getting positives now but then a big fat "Not Pregnant" on a digital at the weekend

No I haven’t tried a FRER since Saturday. I felt that if this was a viable pregnancy then I needed a ‘normal’ test not an early one but maybe the pink dyes would be better!

It’s all really confusing! Hopefully the clinic will be able to tell me tomorrow. I just feel so stupid that I can’t answer the simple ‘are you pregnant yes/no’ question.

I’m hoping you get a definite ‘pregnant’ over the weekend @red!

Elly, It’s so strange that some tests are positive and some negative when they are testing for the same thing! I would have thought 3 false positives would be very unusual. Really hopeful for you!

@elly1685 I hope it goes well for you today at the clinic, everything crossed for you. Iv joined your faint line club too... I caved and tested this morning, 8dp4dt 😬 so super early but couldn’t help myself. My mind is doing tricks am I imagining a line, is it too faint.. I dunno. I’ll post a pic.

Is this a faint line ladies ? I’m trying to look back to see if anyone has had a really faint line for it then to get darker !?

Hey ladies - so clinic test this morning says bfn so I’m stopping meds and awaiting af. Not what I wanted to hear but it was expected. Did one final test this morning (bottom one)

They don’t know why I’m getting positives ....all very confusing and odd
