I’m now 6dp5dt and have caved and tested this morning. I wish I’d waited a little longer as the test was £8!

I have been studying the test in different lights and I swear I can see the faiiiiintest second line. Am I just hopeful and imagining it?!

Got a few internet cheapies and a couple of first response didgital tests to tide me over the next few days. Which should I use?!

How people manage not to test throughout the 2ww, I’ll never know. It was never going to be me. 😜

Step away from the tests! I got a negative at 7 dp 5 dt and then a BFP at 10 days. Is so rough but try and hold off xx

@mel! Try not to test until OTD now!

I have no tests in the house which has really helped me this time round because there’s no temptation. OTD for me is Saturday so I’ll go out Friday eve to get some!

@melissa1215 - I'm so sorry lovely. I absolutely know how your feel. I started testing at 7dp5dt and been getting absolute negatives since. Including this morning at 13dpt. The likelihood of getting a BFP on otd tomorrow is slim to none. I think I'm out of this round.

Going to call the clinic tomorrow to discuss next steps.
I will definitely NOT test early on the next round. It's been hideous getting negatives every day. Once you start testing, it's so hard to stop! Xx

I am now 4dp3dt - during my transfer doc said I had very enlarged ovaries and needed to be careful of ohss

I've had really bad cramps/ upset tummy since my egg collection but as it's still the same I'm wondering if it could possibly be ohss or progesterone side effects. Has anyone had similar side effects on progesterone?

I feel very emotional today which isn't helped by my sister who is 22 years older than me having a meltdown because I didn't call her last week whilst I was going through everything and now have multiple family members contacting me about it.

I feel so annoyed - I am the one that looks after everyone despite a 20 year age gap and the minute I need time for myself it's not allowed!

Ummmm - do your family know what you’re going through at the moment? Sounds very selfish to me, especially if they’re aware of your IVF journey. Are you able to tell them that you need some space and that you’re going through something very stressful at the moment? If they’re not going to understand or behave, I would just go silent on them for a while. You don’t need extra stress right now. I would be fuming.

@Langpants yes they are aware. It is only me and my two sisters. They are both mid forties and I'm 25. They each have 3 children so I think they are finding it difficult to understand. I have updated them each day on our group chat when I've been in hospital or scans etc and had the odd reply of ooo that's good.

I am definitely going to take your advice and give them the silent treatment for a whilst.

Thanks everyone, in finding the wait harder than the entire process, keeping busy and everything but honestly I feel no different. Not a single bit different, had cramps for a few days after the FET but since then nothing just want to know :(

@sophie that must be so difficult. I don’t think people understand the emotional stress that all the scans can cause. Especially if they’ve found having children so easy! Try and block your group message for a few days. Give yourself some time instead of thinking of others.

@mel I know what you mean, the wait is definitely the hardest part. I’ve been quite calm my whole 2ww but it is really getting to me now. I just don’t want to test on Saturday because I can’t bare seeing a negative.

@lang you have one more day to test, try not to lose hope. However its good to ring the clinic and get a plan so you’ve got a focus for the next few months.

Had feeling like AF is coming all day and lower back pain. I’m so nervous about testing on Saturday. My heart sinks at the thought of seeing a blank test screen :(

Hi ladies - can I join you? I had my FET on Tuesday (4th) so I'm 2dp5dt. And I'm silently freaking out because I just read on a "tips for the 2WW" site that if you went abroad you're not supposed to lift your case into the overhead lockers on the flight home - and I did! And I gave it a proper wrench to get it back out again too. I'm terrified I've prevented implantation now

Thanks for all your support. My first round of IVF has failed. I'm stopping all medication and the clinic will call me middle of next week to discuss next steps.

Looking forward to all of your success stories to give me hope for the next round. Xx

Langpants I'm really sorry to read that your cycle failed - it's totally devastating.

Do you have any frozen embryos? As Sophie said, the first cycle is usually a bit of a guessing game, it's unusual to work first time. Give yourself time to be upset and cry, then concentrate on planning the next go

Just had a very impersonal letter through to let me know my other embryo didn't make it to day 5 so non frozen as only 2 of 6 fertilised :(

Feeling the pressure now for a positive result on the 17th.

I'm especially gutted as I have found the injections and ec quite difficult and was desperately hoping I wouldn't have to go through that part again

@RedPandaFluff - thank you. I'm pleased that they've at least called me back today and said we will get back on it. They want to transfer two on the next go. We only have one good one and two not great ones left. Fingers crossed it works on the 2nd one. Xx

So tonight I caved (pressured by DH...) i can definitely see a faint line which came within 3 minutes. It’s obviously not my fmu and I had had a wee only 40 mins before so didn’t even hold it for a while. I don’t know what I was thinking.

Ladies what do you think? Do you think it should be darker by now? 10dp5dt. Could it be a chemical?
