Hi guys hope it's ok to join. I had a day 3 embryo transfer (2 embryos) this is my third round. I'm due to test on 01.08.18 but today I have felt so I'll. I've been feeling sick and had diarrhea all day. At first I thought it was early symptoms but now I'm worried i have a bug and it's not worked. Has anyone else experienced this? Xx

@gingergnome thanks dear. I've been doing some extensive research on this. Drs don't know much about nutrition and I have diet restrictions so pregnancy won't be a straightforward approach for me. I'm taking omega 3 and Dha as I just don't get enough in my diet. The collagen debate is an interesting one. I don't eat cows. So I'm not getting bovine collagen. Which you get from bone broth or gelatine. It's advised not to consume marine collagen as it can actually cause shellfish allergies to the baby. I found that interesting. Not sure how they've studied that. Most women take bovine collagen when pregnant and apparently it does no harm. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Lavmc welcome! I wouldn't too much about the big D. We've all got it. I'm back and forth between constipation and diarrhoea. I now have my 2nd nasal snuffy head situation ☹️ I got this when stimming and now again in 2WW. I think I'm generally run down as they shoved antibiotics in me during stims. Evil stuff. Haven't had a cold in years.

Is everyone getting their progesterone tested here and there? I had mine done the day of transfer but nothing since. I'm taking 800mg a day!! I was over 190! And I think it must be higher than that by now. How much is too much progesterone? Is there such a thing? I'm breaking out all around my mouth, I'm huge in my belly now and my boobs are so sore I have to keep a bra on. Ugh. Not to mention the fatigue. They didn't say they'd monitor my levels. I guess it's not necessary.

I think we are going to head down to the new forest for a spot of camping next weekend. Test weekend 😬 I'd like to be in my favourite place. If it's negative I can stalk donkeys for pats to keep me happy. Ladies, I'm going to test Sunday and I don't want to do it Monday morning! ❤️

@lavmc I'm sorry you're feeling unwell. It might be the drugs. May be bug but hopefully will pass quickly. Fingers crossed for Wednesday and I hope you feel better xxxx

@Maiarindell1 haha you devil you- putting your shins in the water like that ;) like you and @HJ82 I'm soooo desperate to exercise. Feeling so fat now! And it's been a pretty rubbish weekend as my parents' house was burgled :( I'm so sad for them. I've convinced myself that this cycle isn't going to work because my TSH has gone up and I've been feeling pretty low/stressed over past couple of days. @HJ82, my boobs are so painful from the meds. No idea about having too much progesterone - I had mine tested on day of ET too- no plans for it to be checked again over next week. Testing in the New Forest sounds lovely. Very good idea. I'm away without DH this weekend so will wait until Monday 6th before testing (or Sunday eve - although wouldn't be first morning urine - so maybe Monday is best). The thought of going to work after BFN though :(

@cannonball8726 I know how you are feeling. It's so horrible isn't it? This is my third cycle so if it doesn't work this time in just going to be devastated!! Yes I have had the full weekend off so I'm actually looking forward to going to work tomorrow to get out the house! Is it next week you test?xx

Forgot to say not much happening with me. No symptoms apart from breast tenderness- which I've had since before embryo transfer. Work has been busy so I've been nicely distracted!

Thank you @cannonball8726 tested yesterday and today both BFP 😁 I'm delighted but nervous at the same time in case it goes wrong. When are you due to test? X

@HJ82 hope you’re doing well, I haven’t had my progesterone tested at all. Feels like they just stick everyone on 800mg and hope for the best! Your plan to rest in New Forest sounds lovely and relaxing.
@cannonball8726 Glad you’ve been distracted, I’m starting to get itchy to test 😬 but will try and hold out! Not huge symptoms for me, sore boobs and tiredness but otherwise trying to keep busy!

@Lavmc we are on test at 16 days after transfer. I'm testing at 14 days. Hoping it doesn't give false reading but will test again at 16 days anyway. Congratulations!!! ✨ when did you have transfer? Some get positive at 9-10 days post transfer.

@cannonball8726 @Maiarindell1 I'm feeling pretty rubbish. I have gastric pain from the aspirin pretty bad! I've been taking coated tabs but it still got me good. I'm in so much pain in my stomach. Sensitive little thing it is. I spoke to clinic this morning and they said to stop taking them immediately. Now of cause I worry that will affect chances lol. They said theres not enough evidence to suggest taking aspirin does anything, if you have no known clotting issues. So I guess I'd rather not be in pain!

Anyone else not taking aspirin?

Apart from that I'm ok. I have another cold though! Bring this drugged up and run down, sluggish etc at the same time it's hard to imagine my womb being in the best state. But this is all part of it and everyone goes through it. The 2ww has definitely be the hardest on my body. Apparently there's a thing called the ivf cold lol. I think it's not really a cold, it's stuffy ness etc from high levels of estrogen, so I read. Taking antibiotics for that week wouldn't have helped I'm sure.

@cannonball8726 I'm reading online some mixed stuff! Most clinics say to test 16 days post EC not transfer. It's def transfer for us right? I'm slightly confused. Also reading a lot about people getting negative results on HPT then they stop meds and in fact they are pregnant. I don't think my clinic offered blood test unless my HPT is positive. Gosh if it's negative I'll not know what to do next lol. I doubt your period comes with all the meds? Or does it?

@HJ82 that's great, how are you feeling with it all? I tested on day 11 and got a positive result. We tested a day early as we were just too excited xx

Also interesting to mention. The other day my boobs were so painful, especially nipples! I couldn't be without a bra or the slightest touch made my jerk. But now they're just average sore again. So weird.

@HJ82 how are you feeling now? Sorry to hear you’ve been in pain. My clinic didn’t offer me aspirin, I think it’s another thing that there’s not a great deal of research on so being pain free is a better option. Also I hope your that cold has passed now!

I have a confession to make, I was home all day on Wednesday and cracked and tested.....it was positive and has been every day since! I’m trying not to get too excited as today is only 11dpt but am cautiously optimistic. I’m assuming the ovitrelle would definitely be out of my system 16 days later?! Fingers crossed on Monday there are 3 positive results 😃

@maiarindell that is really good news! Are you repeating tests daily?

@HJ82 is your stomach pain any better of aspirin? Some of the CRGH paperwork said to test 16 days after transfer. But the paperwork they gave me post ET said to test 14 days after and they specified 6th June - so maybe they don't do 16 days any more. Are you going to test tomorrow? I've put myself off buying any tests - will buy tomorrow eve for Monday morning. Feeling really nervous - even though there is nothing I can do about it. If it is negative, we've said we would push on with FET after two periods. So nerve wracking! Hope you are having a lovely time in the New Forest!

BTW are you both using FRERs? Will buy a pack of two tomorrow evening. I've never even bought a pregnancy test!

@cannonball8726 I know, it's terrifying. I've thought about not testing and just continuing and see if my belly grows or not lol. Just because I don't want to look at the test.

I had a tiny red spot on my tissue tonight. 😔 it doesn't mean anything just yet. It was teeny. Boobs aren't as sore anymore though. I don't know. Wait to see what tomorrow brings!

Funny story though, I had to do an emergency pull over poop on the motorway 😂 quite literally between the front and back doors of the car! This process is grim! Omg the shame.

That's a negative! Bummer!!! Back to natural trying. Pretty sure my eggs are just duds. I was lucky to get 2 embies, they just didn't make it. Everything felt so right though. Not sure if we will do another round. I'll test on day 16 just to be sure, but pretty certain it would be accurate by now. I don't know when to stop the meds. They don't to a blood test at my clinic. So we are just relying on HPT. I mean, they're 99% accurate. Right? Best of luck tomorrow @cannonball8726 ❤️

@HJ82 I'm sorry kiddo :( so unfair. Hugs. I would do another test tomorrow to be certain. Then call the clinic and find out about meds. Do you have NHS funding for another cycle? Did you get any frozen embryos? I can't remember. I hope that you and your DH are bearing up okay. Enjoy your day in the New Forest and look after each other xxx

I'm so nervous about OTD tomorrow. Not feeling positive at all. But going to go and work out to make myself better tomorrow eve if it's negative. And then I'm going to the pub on Tuesday!

Btw OMG at your emergency poo @HJ82. This shit is hilarious. I've been so uncomfortable overnight as my boobs are sore and it hurts to sleep on my front/sides. It hurts to sleep on my back because of the bum progesterone jabs. FML 😂

@cannonball8726 we are ok! Camping was a good idea, lots of screaming kids. It helps to hear to bad side of child rearing when you get a negative lol. I'm a kind of what will be will be girl. I just focus on other stuff to make me happy. ❤️ never know it could be a false test haha. I've read that women have that and then get the blood test and it's positive later. That's the only reason I'm cautious about stopping the meds. I doubt it but it happens! We have another fresh cycle, might take a few months to do again though. No embies made it to freeze, so they said. It doesn't look hopeful at 36!! You kick yourself for not getting on with this at 28 but you can't have regrets. We were doing other things! Fun things 🙂

@HJ82 I’m so sorry this cycle didn’t work for you. I would also do another test tomorrow to be sure, my notes from clinic say if it’s negative on day 15/16 to keep taking progesterone and do a final test on day 18. I’m glad you’re staying positive and having a nice weekend away. Thinking of you xx
@cannonball8726 I’m good thanks, feeling nauseous but not sure if that is just nerves! We are Just on our way to Greece 😀 I have been testing daily with the exception of today and have used all FRER so far. Will use the official clinic one tomorrow. Fingers crossed for you tomorrow morning!!
