I've had pretty bad Diarrhea today and constant bowel spasms from that (darn progesterone) it's killing me! Daily agony. Same as before, during down reg. severe cramping. But today it's pretty bad. Of all days 😢 anyone else suffer from this or am I just weird?

@HJ82 I’ve only had an upset stomach with progesterone when using them in the back entrance 😳 front entrance seems to give me stomach cramps but no diarrhoea! How did you find the procedure itself? I always find smear tests painful, was it much longer than a smear? Hope you feel better soon, stay hydrated x

@Maiarindell1 oh man, just cramps in general suck. I'd rather poop away the cramp lol. I've read it's better to do them vaginally. They told me to bum them till after ET due to residue oooh. So I'll start them vaginally now. See how I go. The procedure was fine. I had a dummy embryo transfer a while back so I knew what to expect. I was hanging around with catheter and bits in me for a few minutes whilst we all waited for embryologist to bring the lil guys in. That was getting uncomfortable 😣 but was ok. I think a lot of clinics in the states don't even sedate patients during collection 😮 that would be awful.

I am having spasms too. The progesterone also making me constipated. Urgh!!!

@cannonball8726 yep! I'm getting a mix haha. Nightmare. My ibs was in check before, now it's out of control 😒

The progesterone side effects are making me miserable. The spasms are horrible!

Clinic called to say that the embryos seem to be growing okay. They said transfer likely to be D5 (Tuesday). Then I'll be joining you in TWW!

@cannonball8726 yeah back at work. I could have worked last week but it was all so up in the air I just took the days to work from home. Hope those embies keep dividing and doing their thing for your Tuesday transfer. Woohoo. It's really these next 2 days that are the most important. The implant times... 🤞🏻

@cannonball8726 what dosage of prog are you on? I'm on 800mg!! Seems like a lot! 😒

Hey @HJ82 I'm on crinone gel which works out as 180mg daily. Also having intramuscular progesterone twice a week - which my husband is injecting in my bum. Fun!!! It's the heparin I hate the most though. My abdomen is covered in bruises already!

The cramps have gone today. Thank goodness. How are you feeling? When is your OTD?

I had my transfer this afternoon and am officially in the TWW 😄 My one embryo turned into a 8 cell so fingers crossed we’re in with a good shot. @HJ82 How are the cramps today? @cannonball8726 good luck for your transfer tomorrow!!

@Maiarindell thank you. I am so pleased that your embryo made good progress :) Was transfer okay? Congrats on being PUPO! When will you test?

@Maiarindell1 yeeeeeeeah! Great news! Wishing you all the best! So I've switched to doing the suppositories vaginally, so far no cramps BUT let me tell you, what a mess! They melt and you can guess the rest. Um this doesn't happen with doing them in the bottom! I'd rather not cramp though. See how I go. I hope they're absorbing not just ending up in my knickers 😬😣 grossioso

@cannonball8726 I think my test date is 7th aug. It will come round quick enough. Time flys at this age!! With all these hormones I'd be surprised if a period actually came? I wonder how that works. I mean by the time it's 16 dpo I'd be at least a week post when my period was meant to come. Or something like that. I've lost track! Wishing you all the best for tomorrow, are you in a position like me? Not knowing if one or two is better? 😓

@cannonball8726 obvs the dpo was a typo. You know what I mean. I'm all confused haha

@cannonball8726 The transfer was absolutely fine, I would like the Dr to do my smear tests as I barely felt a thing! My test date is 6th Aug, I’m off work at the moment and have tried to plan lots of nice things to keep me busy/reading all of the internet!
@HJ82 Haha I know, it’s grim but I’ve found the higher up you get them the less mess there is!!

@Maiarindell1 wait, if yours is 6th then I'm testing that day too. Screw 16days !!

Congrats to those who are now in 2WW! Good luck for ET tomorrow @cannonball. I’m a week behind you all, transfer is down for Mon, my OTD is 10 Aug but they will test on the 12 Aug as will be on holiday so can’t get in for bloods before then. Doubt I’ll make it to the 12th before doing a cheeky HPT...

What's everyone's clinic say about swimming in the sea? I really want to go to the beach Saturday 😬

Not sure @HJ82! I will do nothing but walk over the next week and then start cycling next week. Missing proper exercise so much though!

@Tigerlily99 good stuff. One more week to go! Awesome that you have a holiday to distract you in 2WW.

@Maiarindell that's good. I'm off work too and keeping myself busy. Hopefully won't stew too much in 2WW!

My transfer is at 12:30. Just had to do a diclofenac suppository. No idea why - I didn't think ET was painful?! These drugs are all so random.

My OTD is 9th August which is 16 days post-transfer. I wouldn't class myself as a tester - I have never done a pregnancy test as period has never been delayed in TTC process. But I am really tempted to test 12 days post-transfer as that will be a Sunday. My OTD is a Thursday and I think I would struggle to work if it is bad news :( but maybe work is a good way of getting through bad news - I think I would just stay at home feeling ridiculously depressed otherwise. Hmm!

@cannonball8726 taking the tube during this weather is awful. I'm too scared to cycle yet... maybe next week. If mine continued growing it would have hatched by now so I guess ok to cycle by next week. I'll be testing on that Sunday... 5th 😬

I had to take the diclofenic too. I took tablet form. That was my choice. It's uncomfortable to have a catheter inserted into the cervix without pain relief I guess. But don't fear because with it, it doesn't hurt.

I'm a barrel of tears today. Urgh!!! 😭😭 dammit. At work. Told someone I just hadn't slept due to heatwave. Mega lie, I'm Australian 😂 (I'm still sleeping with duvet) they were probably thinking, yeah sure...

Just had a call from RMU and my progesterone is 190! No wonder I'm a mess. They said that's good. 😩

You're still sleeping with a duvet!!! You're hardcore :) Glad your progesterone levels are okay. Emotional lability is to be expected with all of this so don't give yourself a hard time. Hugs xxx
