Yeah. The transfer was so uncomfortable though. Smears are bad enough.. :( needs must. X

Charliechalk123 · 09/01/2019 20:45

Good luck everyone, I got my referral letter through the post today, need to send back with photos and all our history, then have to wait 10 days to process, all heading in the right direction.. I have cut out caffeine and trying to eat organic and really healthy now xx

crisps88 · 10/01/2019 08:40

@Charliechalk123 That’s really good progress , at least you’ve began prepping. I am trying to eat more healthily, not stressing myself over it as that’ll make it worse. Acupuncture is helping me so much I think, but anything that adds to the chance hey. I have cut out all alcohol and only small caffeine intake now. Glad you’ve got progress going through, it really speeds up after a the first two appointments I found after the patient information event.

@wanab, did you find the transfer was uncomfortable? I know it’s so hard isn’t it , like you don’t want to begrudge the pain because of the end result but the outlet of being able to say in the group actually it was painful ! Is good.

wanab · 10/01/2019 10:12

@crisps88. Me and speculums don’t get on! Mind you I find sex painful too :(. That’s been part of our problem for a long time. It took longer than a smear test and so is not fun for me 😢

crisps88 · 10/01/2019 20:35

Aw @wanab sounds really tough for you , especially with extra limitations never mind this hard time. Good luck tomorrow and @Bev10 fingers crossed for you both x

crisps88 · 11/01/2019 08:38

Good luck today !!!! Hope everything goes well ! Xx

wanab · 11/01/2019 13:33

Scan was good. Lining is 8-9 mum so onto transfer Sunday. 😃

Bev10 · 11/01/2019 15:06

Great news, hope it all goes well on Sunday. Sending you lots of positive vibes.
I had my scan and all looked as it should, measured 1 day more that I thought so right on track and saw the heartbeat. I'm not really that emotional but I cried like a baby!

crisps88 · 11/01/2019 19:30

@wanab that’s Brilliant. Really good, so do you transfer Sunday did you say? All ready to go!

yayyy @Bev10 AMAZINGGGG!!! Congratulations, so happy it all went well and things are on track. What lovely news ! Brilliant for you both! (/all three of you now!)

wanab · 11/01/2019 20:29

@wanab how did your transfer go? Hope it wasn’t too painful.

@Bev10, how are you doing? Good I hope ! X x

wanab · 15/01/2019 09:36

Wasn't fun. My frostie lost some cells in thaw and hadn't started re expanding by time of transfer but giving him or her a chance. Having some niggles so could be a good sign. X

crisps88 · 15/01/2019 13:58

Keep being positive and thinking good thoughts , it’ll do the world of good. That’s a great sign they’re giving it a chance so they must see something ! Xx

crisps88 · 18/01/2019 23:05

Hi ladies. How is everyone doing? Much news?

We’ve had quite a few appointments recently. I start norethisterone tomorrow for 10 days, have all my injections. Had the teach, baseline scan and catheter trial. Not needed the scratch up to now thankfully!

I have got all my scan dates etc and date to provisionally have egg collection 15th Feb. All seems extremely real now! So happy it’s all happening, and nervous for sure!

Hi all, new to this thread but reading it has been a great help! I have been referred to Chester also, it sounds like a good place to go! I’ve been having appointments at Halton, had bloods done, AMH 3.5 which is low for my age of 35, FSH 9.5 which is high! Having acupuncture to try and lower it. I’ve been told to wait for the information evening letter to arrive but hopefully it will be around early March. Looks like my journey is just beginning!!xx

wanab · 19/01/2019 11:29

Welcome PennyBC26. Exciting! Once you've had that you'll be starting before you know it. Xx

Flwr3 · 19/01/2019 11:32

Hi PennyBC26, not long to wait now ☺️ X

PennyBC26 · 19/01/2019 14:12

Thank you! My letter has just arrived for an appointment at Halton for 28th Feb, the doctor said this would be the appointment after the meeting so I’m hoping the meeting will be soon! Meanwhile, I’ve just been to Aldi and spent a fortune on healthy food! 💪xx

crisps88 · 19/01/2019 16:44

Hey ! Good luck on your journey it’s exciting! X

PennyBC26 · 19/01/2019 17:06

Thank you! Feeling positive today! #IVFgotthis 💪

PennyBC26 · 26/01/2019 20:32

Hi all, I had a transvaginal ultrasound today. Everything looked good (phew!) Even saw an egg that was about to ovulate! Although I was told I had a polyp...I was told I would be referred to a gynaecologist and it might be removed. Has anyone had a polyp or does anyone know any info on this? Thanks x

wanab · 26/01/2019 23:17

Sorry, can’t help you with that. X

crisps88 · 27/01/2019 10:16

No sorry xx

PennyBC26 · 27/01/2019 10:40

Thanks anyway!xx
