We have relocated from the conception board where we were previously chatting under the thread 'ttc for 10 months or more'. A lot of us are now long term ttc-ers and are going through infertility treatment or looking to take steps in this direction so we feel this might be a more suitable home for us!

Feel free to stop by and say hi and hopefully we can share the journey together and make it a little easier along the way!

@chochaw you're still in with a chance until AF arrives aren't you?

bluebird3 · 03/07/2018 19:50

ttc what a rollercoaster you're on right now. Fx for you and your little beans.

chocaw I would read too much into it as lots of people report some cramping in early pregnancy. Are you tempted to do a hpt?

thund4rcat that's so annoying you have to wait 3 months for another SA before getting started. I hate the waiting. During active treatment you at least feel like you're doing something.

AF arrived yesterday. I'm feeling ok about it. Start cycle 2 tomorrow.

orangefolly · 05/07/2018 21:32

Sorry to hear that chochaw Are you doing the next cycle right away?

I had my embryo transfer today. Exciting! Hoping it sticks Grin

bluebird3 · 05/07/2018 22:10

I'm sorry chocaw. It's really disappointing but I'm glad you have a plan. That always made me feel better.

orange that's exciting! Did you transfer 1 or 2?

Chochaw · 05/07/2018 23:34

@Orange yeah we decided to just go ahead and try again. I had today to get over it so had a BBQ and some wine and back to healthy eating and no drink from tomorrow again. I knew after stress of last 2 weeks that it would not work so feeling more optimistic this time.

I hope transfer sticks for you xx

Ttc1london · 06/07/2018 06:14

Sorry to hear that chochaw, 🤞🏻 For next time!!

Good luck orange! I’ll pray it sticks!

How are you getting on blue? Xxx

bluebird3 · 06/07/2018 15:15

ttc so far so good. I just want time to pass now. I feel like it's been ages not 5 days. I'm only 4w 3d. I've asked my gp if I can have an early scan and she said to see if it was advised by the fertility clinic so I'm waiting to hear back from the consultant. If not I'll pay for a private one. I did take another test yesterday and line was darker than the control line so I think the little bean is going strong for now. I still feel like it's unreal.

How are getting on?

Amazing news blue! I know time goes sooooo slow!!! Bit like anything (wedding planning/ holiday) then picks up a bit. Even though I don’t think my poor bean (well blueberry now) will make it it’s amazing that I’m 8 weeks now technically already!!
Definitely get an early scan maybe at 5.5 weeks then 6.5 weeks not earlier for the first one in case it’s too early and not earlier for the second in case there isn’t s heartbeat yet and you freak! I’ve had about 50 scans and each time I get different news and opinions so it doesn’t help me but if all is well it’s reassuring I think!

Chochaw · 06/07/2018 17:35

Blue I'm pleased lines are getting darker.

TTC. Did you have your meeting to see what was happening with you.

Today I went to start IUI 2 and it got postponed. The baseline showed the 2 follicles from right side as still being there from last cycle so I was told I couldn't do it with them there. The doctor said it just happens sometimes and it should go away with the month. I'm gutted I can't start a new cycle. Does anyone have any idea why they didn't release when I used the trigger or anything I can do to make sure they are gone by next period? X

Ttc1london · 06/07/2018 18:04

Yes mines still a tbc situation!! There’s one empty sac, like a nice looking good sized sac, nothing in it. Then there’s a heartbeat within the grey area where you can see no sac at all, just a mass of grey but good heartbeat. He thinks either the sac has collapsed and therefore it will have to die or the sac is hidden behind the clot and therefore we can’t see the sac as it’s 2D
and can’t go behind the clot 🤷🏼‍♀️

bluebird3 · 07/07/2018 08:35

It's so hard to be in limbo ttc. We're all rooting for the little blueberry.

How frustrating chocaw. I don't have any experience of that. I'm not sure if there is anything you can do or not. I hope it clears up and you can have another go next month.

Hey how's everyone doing? I got baby bombed at work again today, & this one's hit me quite hard. It's someone who I know had treatment, & so I should be over the moon for her, but instead I just feel so bloody jealous. And I hate the fact that I'm being so jealous & illogical about it Sad

Ttc1london · 10/07/2018 18:52

Don’t worry Angel we all still wish it was us! My best friend had her baby on Monday and she’s struggling with it all, hard to have sympathy I know that sounds bad 🙈🙈.

Got my scan tomorrow to see if I am still pregnant after they couldn’t see the baby last time but thought they could see a heartbeat In the grey area and nothing in the sac, wtf!! 8 weeks now so I want to know either way!
Hope everyone is hanging in there! Have you had hcg testing blue? X

Ttc1london · 11/07/2018 14:15
