Hi Smile

I noticed there's a IVF thread for March/April and now June - but no May.

My egg collection is scheduled week commencing the 15th May. On my next period (due around 3rd April) I have to go down for my bloods.
Anyone else?

No we didn't have ICSI and aren't this time because the fertilisation results were apparently very good. Quality went down rapidly after that x

elle77 · 13/10/2017 19:46

Please keep me updated- I'll have my fingers crossed for both of you.

Lily35 · 16/10/2017 13:49

How you getting on Karen? When is OTD x

79Karen · 16/10/2017 15:04

Hi Lily, test day is Saturday so still have a week at work ☹️! Because of the 5dt rather than the 2dt last time so far it’s gone quick but I know this week will drag and I’m over analysing everything!

Lily35 · 16/10/2017 15:22

Keep yourself busy!!

79Karen · 16/10/2017 15:35

I’ve been put on a fairly high dose of progesterone this time so I know any symptoms are just that

Lily35 · 16/10/2017 16:35

My protocol has 3 a day this time which is more than I had first cycle :( not looking forward to those!

79Karen · 16/10/2017 17:25

I’m 3 times a day too, some I have to lay down after, and the lunch one I have to walk about, it’s difficult fitting it around my normal day

Ash75454 · 17/10/2017 07:31

elle lovely to hear all going well.

Glad things seem to be going well this round ladies. Keeping fingers crossed.

79Karen · 19/10/2017 10:47

Oh not feeling very hopeful for test day on Saturday, feel very similar to last bfn, symptoms from progesterone slowly disappearing and af like cramps. Think i’ll Be disappointed, really hoped that 2 top quality blasts would have given us a good chance?

Lily35 · 19/10/2017 11:02

The cramps could be a good sign Hun, what dpt are you today? X
Stay strong x

79Karen · 19/10/2017 11:09

8 days past transfer today, I hate these last few days of waiting

Lily35 · 19/10/2017 13:13

Are you tempted to Test early?

79Karen · 19/10/2017 14:41

I think if I wasn’t working I might have tested early but I’m happy for it to be a Saturday so I can digest what the outcome is at home. I feel I always have to prepare myself for a disappointing outcome

Ash75454 · 19/10/2017 21:38

Got our fingers crossed for you here.

79Karen · 21/10/2017 10:40

Morning, well I’ve done a test and it’s inconclusive! I did a frer and the nhs one that I got given, on the frer there is a really really faint 2nd line and on the nhs is a bit less faint, but still really faint and didn’t come up for at least 5 mins. I’m wondering if it’s a chemical? Im not bleeding but I’ve been put on a high dose of progesterone so was told that I probably wouldn’t bleed until I stop that. So I’m gonna wait a few more days and test again

Lily35 · 21/10/2017 11:03

Oh Karen! That’s so tough! Really really hoping it gets stronger for you xxx

79Karen · 21/10/2017 11:16

Thanks Lily, the waiting continues. Just wish it was a clear yes or no

geeup · 21/10/2017 16:02

Sorry to interrupt this thread. I'm sorry for the limbo you're in @79Karen Can I ask what dose of progesterone you're on please? I noticed you say it's high? Thanks.

79Karen · 21/10/2017 16:39

Hi Gee I’m on 2x 400mg cyclogest in the morning, an 8% crinone at lunch and another 2x 400 cyclogest in the evening. Last time I bleed at 14 days past egg collection, I’m 15 days today so in that respect it seems to have helped

geeup · 21/10/2017 16:56

I hope I can convince my clinic to prescribe me similar. I've done two rounds on only 1 x 400mg cyclogest twice a day and bled both times at 5dp5dt. This time they said they'll give me 1 x 400mg three times a day but doesn't seem enough. I want lubion injections too and seems sensible to double the pessaries too. So hard to get them to deviate from their normal (NHS) plan though.

79Karen · 21/10/2017 17:25

Sorry sent too soon, was saying that I couldnt have the injections as nhs wouldn’t allow it for a funded cycle, we even offered to pay for it

79Karen · 21/10/2017 17:26

Don’t know what happened there? My message posted and then disappeared?

Ash75454 · 22/10/2017 08:32

Hi karen my first test was very faint so hoping all well for you. Do they book you in for bloods there to check HCG?

79Karen · 22/10/2017 12:33

Hi Ash I’m not sure mine do a blood test I’ve not called them yet but I’m sure i’ll Be told to wait a bit longer and test again. Not feeling very hopeful though. How many dpt were you when you tested?
