FET Sept/Oct

Hi ladies,
I am due to start an FET in Sept/Oct and wondered if anyone else was too?! Had my first cycle of IVF in August but due to fluid in my uterus and thin lining had to freeze everything. I seem to always have fluid mid cycle, including natural cycles. Very worried that it will always be a problem and will never get to use my embryos. Having a hysteroscopy the week after next to check incase anything in there but doc suspects not. Would be great to have a few buddies! xxx

They never did know where it was no, it never got big enough to tell. Hopefully the FET goes a bit better.

It's definitely good to have lovely family. You will get there - heartburn and nausea sound like a pretty good sign, i never get either of those symptoms just from the drugs xx

The drugs def affect my boobs though! They are quiet big at the moment - well they feel to me as a smaller busted lady! If it wasn't for the blue veins I'd say they looked pretty good!! Haha.

Morning! Woke up with a stinking cold, caught off DD. Inevitable, really but at least I'm working from home today.

had a few achy, crampy sensations in the lower right hand side of what I think was my uterus last night. But I have been having weird sensations in that area all month so I'm trying not to read too much into it. No spotting, which I would expect with a BFP, but last time I got pregnant I had massive thick lining so I guess there would be more there to disturb after implantation.

My ETD is Wed 7th (12dpt), I'll probably do a FRER on the 6th as I am at home that day so I can afford to be a bit teary. I've got a meeting on the 7th first thing in the morning that I can't get out of so I want to have a bit of warning if it's BFN.

Hope everyone else feeling ok. Lolly, you certainly have all the symptoms in the book! Blue - it must be nearly your OTD?

Hi everyone, sorry for disappearing again. We were still away and thinking about both our son on his due date and what might possibly be happening with the little embie on board.

So I decided to test early today as it's DH's birthday... I got a second pink line, I can't quite believe it. I'm 9dp5dt, it's faint but definitely there, hopefully will get stronger by OTD on Wednesday.

That's a good idea Bear, I think it's good to have a day to gather your thoughts whatever the outcome - hoping for pure elation of course!

I was awake at 4.30 and couldn't get back to sleep. Had really bad heartburn too. Back to the clinic at 5.40pm for more bloods so doubt I'll hear my number till tomorrow. Let's see!

Sorry Bear I x-posted with you. I think it's sensible to test a day before if that's better for you. It's still long enough to get a result (my OTD is 11dpt). Symptom spotting is so tough as they say each pregnancy is so different. I wasn't sure what was happening with me because I didn't have the usual bunged up feeling from the progesterone, in fact the opposite (sorry TMI), but apparently that can happen too.

Blue the day before my BFP (9dp5dt but via blood Test) I had a few visits to the bathroom shall we say and I felt like I had a tummy bug!! Strange one!! I put it down to nerves about the next day but you never know. If you google anything I think it can be a sign/symptom!!

Oh totally I know in my logical brain that every pregnancy is different but this feels a lot more like my BFNs than my BFPs. Hey ho. Only a week to wait.

Hoping the week goes super fast for you Bear. The waiting is the worst, I feel like this whole process is just one big waiting game!!!
Not sure what is worse at the moment the 2ww. Waiting for treatment to start or waiting to see if this pregnancy is going anywhere or not - toughie!!! xxx

Oh I know! I feel like I've been waiting around for stuff all year, it's become second nature! Never gets less infuriating though xx

Tell me about it!!! Argh. I've got a busy work week this week so trying to occupy my mind to keep it from spiralling into a pit of worry and despair which was where I spent a lot of last week.

Don't get me wrong I'm sure I'll end up back there but for now I'm ok.

The waiting is the worst! Trying really really hard not to make myself paranoid about our scan on Thurs - just keep imagining them not finding a heartbeat :-(

Blue, AMAZING news!

I'm sure it's all going to be absolutely fine but I understand the nervousness. I'll be the same on the 12th - that's assuming I get to that point with any hope! Depends what this weeks numbers say.

Awww good luck for Thursday CSA, hearing a heartbeat for the first time is magical (there's an old wives tale about determining the sex from the heartbeat that I can share if you are intending to find out, it was correct for my son!)

I'm having lots of strange symptoms already, aversion to smell of paint and dry patch of skin on my hand (which I had in my other pregnancy) and nausea and lots of trips to the toilet (which are new).

Lolly how did you get on today?

Had my bloods done but don't think I'll get the results till tomorrow. Just a waiting game. Even then I don't think we will know for sure till the scan. More waiting and wondering!!

Had heartburn all day though - cruel if it's all going to pear shaped but hey ho!!

I've had a weird night - DD invaded our bed at 3am so was awake for a while and had lots of little shooting pains again. Kind of like the ones i've had on and off all month since the scratch, but more. Who knows, could be a good sign or could just be my scratched-up uterus reacting to all the drugs!

I think that's sounds positive Bear! Something must be going on in there and hopefully it's your embryo getting all snuggled in. I had lots of weird sensations I can remember.

I should get my bloods back this morning so just waiting to hear really. I think this number will tell us a lot. I'm nervous of course!!

Finding it impossible to know what to think. I don't know my own body any more. The 2 times I have been pg I had all sorts of sensations but nothing even remotely like this xx

Bear you're finding it impossible because it is. There's no way to know what's going on in there! Everything I read says each time is different so I wouldn't read anything into not feeling the same as the last times. I'd say sensations must mean something is going on in there so can only try and stay positive! Keeping everything crossed for you!! xxx
