FET Sept/Oct

Hi ladies,
I am due to start an FET in Sept/Oct and wondered if anyone else was too?! Had my first cycle of IVF in August but due to fluid in my uterus and thin lining had to freeze everything. I seem to always have fluid mid cycle, including natural cycles. Very worried that it will always be a problem and will never get to use my embryos. Having a hysteroscopy the week after next to check incase anything in there but doc suspects not. Would be great to have a few buddies! xxx

So ladies when are you all testing? I've lost track!! So exciting! xxx

Ah ladies I am so excited for you!!!

I am here with the pom poms cheering you on

My Dr said 12dp5dt for OTD but obv everyone tests earlier (and as you know we did earlier betas, which I'm glad about, as it gave us lots more information)

I think someone really needs to hurry up and invent the HPT with the fanfare and the light up belly button to tell you you're pregnant. There's so much useless technology surely some boffin can apply their sciencey knowledge to sorting this one out?! Honestly, pah!!

Bear2014 · 04/10/2016 08:53

My OTD is Sunday (12 days) but I'm going to test on Thursday (9 days). OH and I agreed on that as a reasonable date, she doesn't know I tested yesterday. But I'm not counting it really, apart from anything the pee was really pale and diluted as i was up and down in the night drinking water so I don't see how it could possibly have showed anything at 6 days.

Are you testing on Thursday too, Mist?

HelloMist · 04/10/2016 13:34

My otd is Thursday so I am thinking of testing tomorrow. Despite the long dates for some of you, I don't think that is stupidly early?

Took DD to a toddler group so wasn't a very restful morning (I wanted to keep busy) but I am hoping it'll result in a good sleep now, possibly for both of us!

Bear2014 · 04/10/2016 13:52

I think that's reasonable, Mist. If you have a twin pack of tests that is! I wasted one on Monday, otherwise I'd probably go again tomorrow, too.

Will check back to see how you get on - good luck! Do you have a gut feeling either way?

Lolly2803 · 04/10/2016 14:06

Oh Mist how exciting to test tomorrow! I've no idea as I've never been in your position but what Bear says makes sense. How do you feel?
Bear how you doing? Not long for you either! What an exciting week for the thread!! xx

I feel with this cycle that if I'm not pregnant, this combination of drugs just produces the biggest array of pregnancy-mimicking symptoms that it is a total head fuck. I didn't get the implantation spotting that I have had in the past but I've had loads of twinges and cramps, and now my lower belly feels rock-hard and tender which is what I had when pregnant. I almost feel like my uterus is tingling with pins and needles a lot of the time. It's seriously bizarre.

Lolly2803 · 04/10/2016 14:36

Wow all sounds so positive Bear! Oh I SO hope it is. Not long to wait to be sure! xx

Bear2014 · 04/10/2016 14:53

Indeed. I definitely had some sensations with my BFN in July but I'm sure nowhere near this level. But I was only on Cyclogest then (fresh cycle) and I'm on Cyclogest and Progynova now. I'm trying to simultaneously keep positive and not get my hopes up.

Lolly2803 · 04/10/2016 15:06

It's so hard isn't it! We'll hang in here, only 2 more sleeps to go!! CD20 for me! Hoping this cycle will be nice and normal and be a 28 dayer....but who knows!!!

Sounds very positive Bear! Fingers crossed.

Mist, before I found out I was pregnant in April I tested every day for about 7 days before my OTD and I got a very very faint BFP about 2 days before OTD. Fingers crossed for you!!

I've just started my second period since losing my son which means my cycle will now be tracked at the clinic and when I hit peak ovulation it will be time for my FET. Counting down the days!!

HelloMist · 04/10/2016 16:03

Gut feeling? no, not really. I feel more optimistic than I expected (after the night of ET when I'd looked up the grading) and have had a few times thinking I am really pregnant. Some sensations of localised cramps and of a hard abdomen (hadn't thought of it as this Bear until you said, but something about my tummy does remind me of being pregnant when I bend forward sometimes).etc etc. But then I tell myself off for getting carried away. :( Yes, head fuck! I had thought the same phrase but wasn't sure if it was OK here.

I've got a twin pack but also official tests from the clinic. (To be used twice few days/week apart depending on first result).

Thank you, Again. Glad you are getting closer to FET.

Bear2014 · 04/10/2016 16:12

Again and Lolly - it will be transfer day in no time. Nice to finally have some action happening.

Mist - sounds pretty similar then! Gaaah. Good luck again for the morning xx

Lolly2803 · 04/10/2016 16:13

Again hello!! We might be on similar timings? I'm CD 20 waiting for AF so I can start meds for my FET on CD2. Not sure what CD ET is for FET...

thanks, Bear! barely stopping myself digging out that test strip this afternoon. I did get a little sleep though :) and then some TV.

Bear2014 · 04/10/2016 16:33

That's good, Mist. Our DD was in our bed last night from midnight, so annoying! I'm back in the office today but it's been fairly quiet. I love a little nap-time TV catch up, can never sleep during the day.

Lolly2803 · 04/10/2016 17:49

Stay strong Mist!!!

pinkapples · 04/10/2016 20:19

When would you expect to bleed if it didn't work? Dpt? I'm trying not to get my hopes up as no bleeding yet also, I forget what's the earliest we're all testing?

Lolly2803 · 04/10/2016 22:07

HelloMist good luck for the morning! Let us know how you get on. Keeping everything crossed for you!

Banana saw via stalking another thread you have a hysteroscopy tomorrow. Hope all goes well and dream Doc gets some good insights/answers. Let us know how it goes.

Stay strong rest of you ladies testing soon! xxx

bananafish81 · 04/10/2016 22:22

Good luck ladies!!

Thanks Lolly, yep hysto tomorrow, thank you!!

Xx

HelloMist · 04/10/2016 23:06

Pinkapples, I'm not sure but I wondered the same question and from what I read the meds could delay any bleed so you might not if it failed until after the clinic says to stop them :(

Thanks, ladies.

Good luck Banana!

Bear2014 · 05/10/2016 06:17

I cracked this morning, 8dpt - BFN. Can't see how it could be anything but bad news tbh. We've got another embryo but it's only an early blast Sad

Good luck everyone else xx

HelloMist · 05/10/2016 06:20

After waking a few times I woke at 5.30 and didn't feel I'd be able to get back to sleep. Got up and tested and there was a faint - but definitely there - line! Smile Might test tonight to check it gets stronger (before official test tomorrow) and will try to be only quietly excited for now as it's early days. Told DH and he went back to sleep Wink after being pleased.

HelloMist · 05/10/2016 06:22

Oh no, wow look at our timing Bear. I was hoping that if mine was so faint there could be hope for you. Sad It is still a bit early.

Bear2014 · 05/10/2016 06:36

Nah we're out I think. I'm so pleased for you though, that's great!!

I don't know what could have possibly gone wrong, an AA blast defreosted 100%. I've done everything right. I can't give up but we probably should.
