Hello!

We had IVF ICSI in January 2014 which resulted in our little boy born in October 2014. We started trying again when he's was 9 months hoping that nature would be on our side this time but after 3 months we decided to speak to the FC again to see if it was even worth bothering to try naturally. It wasn't and so we are to start IVF again very soon.

Looking for others going through the same thing if possible to be my buddy's Smile

God I hoped you'd say that! Xx

GilbertBlythe4JM · 23/08/2016 10:58

Put it this way: with both my CPs the tests at this point were squinters (having been pretty strong). With my dd the line was like yours. Courage, mon ami! Xx

Absolutely positive!!!! Amazing!!! Congratulations!! Completely missed the bit that said you dunked it in the loo water....the things we do but at least that explains the negative!

Hello ladies, I've not posted on this thread for a wee while but I've been following your progress. Congratulations to those that have positive tests, and my best wishes for those that are still travelling along this journey. I've been on suprecur nasal spray since the beginning of the month and am starting my gonal-f injections tonight for a possible egg retrieval on the 5th sept all going well. We had our daughter on our first IVF with ICSI attempt in 2012 and hoping for another miracle this time round. We didn't have any to freeze the last time. Would love to share this next few steps with anyone in the same part of the process? Rox X

sunshineonarainyday1 · 26/08/2016 11:13

Hey Roxy, that's great you're starting gonal-f tonight....and not long until EC. We didn't have any to freeze on our first cycle with our DD too but did better second time round so fingers crossed for the same for you. How are you feeling about the whole process this time round?

GilbertBlythe4JM · 26/08/2016 11:21

I'll be about 6 weeks later than you for my fet I think - good luck though and please keep us all updated xxx

Smileybobs29 · 27/08/2016 16:12

Hi ladies, I'm just sat in hospital where I've been all day, I've been bleeding bright red and freaking out, they've done me a beta blood test and my level is 47 which they say is normal... Is it?! Having them taken again in 48 hours but just can't be left in limbo like this!

GilbertBlythe4JM · 27/08/2016 21:33

My clinic like it to be above fifty on test day but the thing they always stress is they want to see it double in 48 hours so that's what's important now I think - not much help as it leaves you on tenterhooks til they repeat the test. So I'm guessing they'll be looking for it to be around 100 by Monday. Will be thinking of you and keeping fingers crossed for those numbers to keep going up xx (mine was five on OTD this time which is how they diagnosed the chemical pregnancy - that's really really low) xxx

Smileybobs29 · 28/08/2016 08:47

Thanks Gilbert, guess I'll just have to wait and pray they go up on Monday, I'm still bleeding today too it's not massively heavy but it's there all the same and it's red. Xx

GilbertBlythe4JM · 29/08/2016 19:15

Any news, Smiley? Xxx

Smileybobs29 · 29/08/2016 23:00

Hi Gilbert, my hcg levels were 98 today so more then doubled which they're happy with. I'm still a bit windy that they appear a bit low from what I've seen on Google (I know I shouldn't look) have another blood test wed morn to check they've doubled again. And blood seems to have stopped back to dark brown discharge when I wipe so hoping it's all a good sign but I know I'm not out the woods yet, thanks for asking xx

Roxy1234 · 30/08/2016 08:49

That's sounding promising smileybobs, I've got my fingers crossed for you. I'm still injecting and have my first stim scan on Friday to see how I'm doing and plan an egg retrieval day. I'm on double the dose I was the last time and I'm really feeling the bloat and slight soreness in my tummy now already! But I guess it just means things are working!
