Anyone starting IUI soon? Looking for some support

I've been offered three rounds of stimulated IUI after ttc for 8 years.

We have undiagnosed infertility but I'm 36 and can feel the clock ticking.

I'm expecting af to arrive around the 1st of December and I'll start my injections for the first cycle soon after.

Is anyone else in a similar boat?

Good luck Closephine.

The worst advice I had was to try to relax and not think about ttc (how is that even possible?) The irony is that we conceived on the one occasion when we'd pretty much written it off and we're just killing time until IVF.

Hi everyone!

Congrats finding, that is wonderful news. Enjoy!

Thanks to all for your kind welcome however I am v quickly graduating on - unfortunately when I went for my first scan for this IUI cycle I was overstimulating and growing a group of 30+ follicles. So I have had to convert the cycle to IVF as obviously it would be madness to continue to IUI with that number of follies. It's all very strange as I find myself plunged into the midst of it ivf, but in some ways I suppose that's better as I haven't had too much time to think about it!

Anyway, I hope you all have great success and hope (in the nicest possible way) never to see you on the IVF threads!

Thanks for the messages!

I had my first blood test today and the midwife emailed to say everything seem OK. Next blood test on Thursday.

I've had a mild stitch like pain in my left side all day and I'm a bit stressed by that. I googled it and I think it's normal but I'm worried. It's going to be a long 9 months.

Hello, is anyone else trying IUI in their 40s? Please share your stories. We have had 3 chemical pregnancies and now trying IUI.
