Oh Frank. I've had 11 attempts at IVF so I totally get the gut wrenching devastation a failure brings. I spent a couple of weeks each time in a black hole and then started to feel better as I started focusing on the next attempt. Thinking of you. I just feel for you because I know how absolutely horrid it is xox

shellster what is happening with you? Have you had your blood test?

They have moved the test forward to this morning not sure what the point is but they said they have to make it " official" that its failed
Least I dont have to have any more drugs I guess for a while

And you shell?

Frank - I guess they have to do it officially because some women bleed and are still pregnant. It must seem totally pointless though as you know your own body I'm sure. You poor thing, at least after today you can have a break for a while. Do you have a next steps plan? I always come up with one for everything as it helps dealing with the disappointment to know what you're doing next! Xx

Chops - I'm feeling a million times better thank you , I think the worst is over.
I still get nauseous halfway through the day, but I think that is down to the cabergalin drug (probably spelt wrong) rather than the over stimulation.

Am getting a few af twinges so fx she hurries up... I guess I should be expecting a heavy one this time after the progesterone? X

OK just snooped....

I see an old friend on the ivf thread :-( she left my conception thread a while ago with a bfp. It's really sad to see her on there as I assumed she was off with a baby somewhere. Gutted for her.

I just did a test and now says positive!!!!

Doc rang I had a big drop in my progesterone levels so hence the bleed so I will be on injections and monitoring for the next couple of months but Im definitely pregnant ! Cant believe it still

Oops, can't believe I forgot to announce my long awaited BFP on here. I must have meant to do it when I logged in Tuesday but then with Frank's news of 'heavy bleeding - it's all over' I felt for her and replied to her post and must have forgotten about my news. But it might not have been appropriate anyway announcing my BFP in the same post as condoling Frank for her BFN.

But now you got a BFP anyway Frank so we can both celebrate!!!! That's amazing Frank. Hope your bub enjoyed their first taste of Maltesers! Mine got a taste of ice cream when I had cramps and was convinced my period was coming!

So I was told that they like to see the numbers between 100 - 400 on the day 16 blood test. Mine was 390 so she said that's really strong. I actually had two put back as well just because I've been trying for 4 years and wanted to up my chances, so now it's got me curious! Weird, I only ever wanted two children, but now knowing this is the final time and it can never happen again, I actually want two and think I will be disappointed if my scan shows only one! I have to have a repeat blood test Monday 27th and then a scan at 7 weeks... hoping I make it that far!

shell that is bloody amazing news!!! Finally!!! I hope you get your twins too! Although you might be twice as sick? Did you suffer much with DS?

Still bleeding this morning injection later hurry up!
But slept in the night all the way thou, think I was just so exhausted.

im on day 6 of stims - not going that great to be honest. they keep on saying drink more water, drink more milk and eat more protein... and i cant ... feel sick! grrrr

Oh Aussie - I can relate to that. My transfer didn't go ahead because I was too over stimulated. I felt awful, so sick all the time. Have they checked you for OHSS? When is proposed EC?

I now have 5 blasts in the freezer for when I'm better.
