Rothbury is past Morpeth, more near Berwick.

It's about 25 miles north of Newcastle SPB. They've found the car up there it seems.

I'm watching on BBC News 24 but I do wonder whether this constant news feed hampers the investigation? If he's watching, he knows exactly where they are.

Just watched a police news conference on BBC about finding the Lexus, picking up 2 men who were walking along the road - these people were believed to be the hostages and have now been arrested.

There is an exclusion zone around Rothbury, advice is to stay indoors, for people not to visit Rothbury and to be aware that armed police are on the streets.

There were gunmen around where my mam lives both Sunday and Monday. They were dressed in proper uniforms.

Rothbury is nowhere near Berwick. It's roughly inbetween Morpeth and Alnwick, about 25 miles north of Newcastle. I have friends there, hope they are safe inside with the doors locked.
