I did walk home - near Paddington so really no other options - and it took me two jolly tiring hours, & that's with no pregnancy! Saw people walking barefoot because of how unsuitable "office" footwear is.

I think my "comical" moment was some expensively shod girlies claiming never to have walked from Moorgate to London Bridge before, and giggling with a policeman about being lost. At the head of London Bridge. It made us all smile...

Did piffle and happyhuggy hear from the men they were trying to contact after the bombs?

Sorry if I'm being insensitive, I was just wanting to hear how they both were and when we were on holiday we had no internet access.

Turned out she was in constant contact with a male MNer..........his wife, also posts on here, very messy and very sordid.
