Yes, I am here and fine. Thanks for sending me the link to this thread. I live by Baker Street tube and Marylebone Station. It is very strange around here. So little traffic on Marylebone Rd (though lots and lots of sirens) and the pavements are packed with people. My son's nursery which is near here closed for a half day today and will ot open tomorow. Many many of the shops are closed locally - i.e. the M+S in Marylebone station. Everyone I know is accounted for which is a relief. And we are lucky that we can walk to anywhere we need to go.

Glad eveyrone else is ok.

I've been out since before 10am and have been fretting about you lot the whole time, glad everyone here is OK and hope everybody manages to get to a safe haven if not actually home tonight.

I'll check the messages for Azure. I don't know her personally but I know she works near to where I worked and that's around 5-10 mins from Russell Sq.

I got a lift home from my mate's DH who was near my office. Took 2.5 hours to get home - traffic bad - but home safe and sound. I feel a bit shaky still, haven't watched the news, don't think I want to.

Feel nervous about going back tomorrow but we must I guess, unless the police advise otherwise.

Kbear - IIRC the underground will be closed tomorrow. Couldn't you take the day off?
