link to Italian report on Testimony RE the policeman

Not what I was reading earlier in work but some of the testimony.

"Particularly not if the policeman did tell the housemates what he had seen when he went into the room."

Yes, if; but that's not how I read the descriptions of what happened after the door was kicked in; if he did lift the cover, only 1 or 2 of those present were looking; if he subsequently described to those at the cottage what he saw, a lot of them were there & would have heard it (but possibly not AK & RS who were by others' testimony shut in AK's room )

Whatever, AK's claims were meaningless, & not worth commenting on by other witnesses; unless she had been in the room before the door was kicked in

Re mid-clean-up, I don't know. It sounds as if they were cleaning up all night (nobody else was in the house). The explanation that they were waiting for Filomena to arrive so that they could then hang back & be sidelined as witnesses makes a lot more sense to me.

I just clicked on your last link but as it's in Italian it's completely over my head.

DuelingFanjo · 17/12/2009 08:11

yeah - sorry about that. It was a link for someone who asked previously for a source.

There was NO evidence presented of a clean up though. The supposed bleach purchase was disproven. They could not have cleaned the scene and left only evidence that Guede was there. And why leave the bloody bathmat?

Wasn't it reported that they were sat out side with the mop when the police arrived? There was no blood found on the mop. No empty bleach containers....

How was the bedroom door locked? With a key?

DuelingFanjo · 17/12/2009 14:17

One Italian News source has it as

"When the Postal Police arrived at Via della Pergola Raffaele Sollecito and Amanda Knox had "hugged and talked softly while sitting on a fence of the garden." Nothing about he mop. I believe it was in the porch area.

The the two postal police at the scene said in court that they could see meredith was dead and noticed blood around her neck, something they surely could only have seen if the duvet had been lifted.

Guede has his sentence cut by almost half

I feel like the Kerchers are never going to see true justice
